Right next to Sencha tea bar! Warm cookies with hot tea is a great combo too! Open late. Making Madison a better place to visit!

I’m not a huge cookie person, but after hearing a coworker rave about these cookies, I figured that I should stop by and see for myself. These cookies are goood! Only downside is that they’re kind of expensive per cookie, and the ones that I got in the box were definitely smaller than the ones they had on display. Other than that, if I’m feeling in a sweet-treat mood, I’d definitely splurge a little and stop here once in a while.

If you’ve got a sweet tooth, it’s about to get sweeter thanks to Insomnia cookies. They definitely have some insane cookies. My first time there, I got the smores cookie(deluxe) and it was super yummy, gooey, warm, and chewy(my favorite kind of cookies). They also have ice cream that was made in Wisconsin which I will definitely have to try next time. The only thing is that the cookies are kind of expensive, so I wouldn’t go there every day. But for an occasional treat? Yes please! The staff was also really nice and enthusiastic when making recommendations, even at 10PM at night! They were so friendly and welcoming.

«C is for cookie. That’s good enough for me.» It’s a no-brainer, except now in Madison, I is for cookie, I is for Insomnia. As I was traveling down State St at 2:30 in the morning I was drawn to their big sign like a kid to a bakery. Before I opened the door I was hit with the sweet smell that reminds you or waking up on Saturday mornings to a tray of fresh baked goods. But lets get down to the real reason we are here, those sweet, savory, chewy gooey cookies. A box of six and a special one just for me. ~ Chocolate Chunk: Good size chunks of chocolate pieces and not to sweet on the cookie itself. ~ Double Chocolate Chunk: Kind of self explanatory on this one. See above cookie ;) ~ M&M: My particular M7M cookie was loaded with them. Did I order a bag of candy or a cookie? Either way I was happy. ~ Double Chocolate Mint: Mint chocolate chips on a chocolate cookie base? It was like a soft gooey Andes Candy in my mouth. ~ White Chocolate Macadamia Nut: I don’t have words to describe this one other than rockin. ~ Oatmeal Raisin: This is what I judge all cookies on. This is my go to and they hit ti out of the park. Loaded with oats and not to many raisins. ~ S’mores Delux Cookie: This was a masterpiece. marshmallow, chocolate, delicious. soft, amazing, warm, decedent, sorry I got got up in the thought of a cookie… These cookies are served warm, they all had that soft crunchy outer ring, chewy middle ring and soft center. Perfect cookies. They staff was so friendly when I came in as well. Took the time to walk me through each cookie, it can be a difficult process. I recommend you stop in and get your sweet fix ASAP.

I can’t give this dump a no star, but I’ll just pretend I did. This place gave my entire family salmonella food poisoning including me, and I am 3 months pregnant, so thanks. These people need to learn to wash their hands and cook their products to the appropriate temperature. Don’t go here and if you do especially don’t eat their Reese’s peanut butter cup cookie.

I’m so glad this place is back in brick-and-mortar form. It’s the perfect spot to stop after a few drinks to wait for your über. The staff is friendly and the cookies are rich and decadent.

Not bad, not mind blowing. I got an ice cream sandwich with vanilla ice cream and white chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies. It was about $ 5.50 after tax. It definitely did not last the mile drive home to the other side of the capitol so I’m not sure how delivery would work with that sort of item. Overall it was a little more than I’d want to spend on something I could make at home easily. On the other hand, it might be good drunk food when bar hoping on State.

A late night fix for your sweet tooth. These cookies are to die for! They taste just like how my grandma would make them – wholesome and delectable – if my grandma wasn’t Asian and only knew rice and stir-fry. Strategically located at Library Mall for you late night scavengers it should be a last night pit stop. Otherwise perfect for delivery during those cold winter months when you’re stuck at the library at 1 in the morning trying to finish up your paper that was due yesterday. Milk and cookies(yes, milk too!) will take you a long ways…
