Nails U Luv

You can’t go wrong with Nina! She has been doing nails for so long you don’t have to give her much direction, she already knows what she’s doing. Being in the hair industry, my hands are constantly in water and chemicals and Nina does such a good acrylic and shellac job, I can go an entire full month until my next visit to see her. Being on a budget I really appreciate that, her prices are very affordable for the quality of job she does! Check her out for yourself :)

Located in the strip mall next to HyVee on Whitney Way. I never knew there was a nail salon in there until I searched for salons in my area after being turned away at another place. I’m so glad that I found Nina! I arrived shortly after 7, although it was dark and empty, Nina assured me she was open. She started on my sister’s nails right away and we talked the whole time. After seeing what a great job she did on my sister’s nails and the great price, I expressed wanting to make an appointment for a couple days later… Nina offered to stay open later to do my nails and I couldn’t resist! Nina really loves what she does and it shows in her work! We will definitely be returning!

It’s in a kinda dinky strip mall. But don’t let that deter you, the people are super sweet. There are usually only 3 people working. So they do have trouble sometimes if a huge party comes in. But they do their absolute best accommodating everyone. Nina is hilarious and always remembers our names when we come in. And they’ve always done a good job. I usually get pedicure, but on occasion shellac manicures too. Definitely give them a try, they’re hard workers and do an awesome job.

I have never had a complaint after going to Nina and her staff! Enjoy seeing her grand daughters and love the facility! Great place and reasonable pricing!!’

This is the BEST place in Madison to go to! Nina and everyone are so nice! Their prices are so reasonable, too. Nina has been doing my nails and she is very talented. And my nails ALWAYS, ALWAYS look AWESOME! They are tucked away in Westgate Mall just down the hall from Rocky Rococo. Make an appointment or walk in. You won’t go anywhere else after you go once. You will be so glad you did!!!

Sketchy place overall… and they really put up a fight if you don’t pay cash, but they say they’ll take cards if you ask before you get your manicure. They spend a lot of time on the phone with bank issues and/​or financial issues. The lady doing my nails last time left to answer the phone before starting my manicure, then spent 8 minutes away trying to figure out what was wrong with the balance in the cash register… so I eventually left before she even started. They are pleasant, just seem to have financial issues.

Went with a small group to get nails done for a wedding. The staff did a great job accomadating us and was very friendly. My shellac manicure is holding up nicely, especially considering I usually ruin manicures quickly. Just be sure to bring cash. They charge a fee for using cards.

After seeing great reviews from others, my sister and I ventured to this place way out in madison, WI. As my sister had an interview at 3 and our appointment was at 12:30 to give us enough time before her interview, however what we didn’t know was that their credit card and atm machine was down after we got our services. My sister got an manicure and brows done and I just got a pedicure.
Here is what went wrong:
1. We had an appointment which was at 12:30 and we got there 12:20, they only had two people on staff for a labor day weekend?
2. My pedicure guy while nice, was spacing out while multitasking several people. My pedicure is so so in my book, lots of chips for the first day already.
3. My sisters eyebrow was so badly butchered that she probably won’t get her brows done for awhile, the lady was on the phone doing it wrong causing severe redness!
4. When it was time to pay, the card was down and she kept calling the company that she has an account with no help, she demanded us to leave our credit card. so i decided to haul to mobile gas while the machine came back on. She yelled at us even if it wasn’t our fault.
5. Another customer told us that you are best of paying with cash here as the location atm and credit card machine always crashes. so if you are still willing to come after my warning of what all happened ****** BRING CASH!*******
ALL in ALL, I am sure Madison has better places than this dying mall kinda place.
