I like inexpensive clothes, and thus I like Old Navy. This location is nice and bright(the east side location is a little more warehouse-y). It can be a little claustrophobic because they cram a ton of merchandise into a not so huge space, but as with most clothing stores I try to hit them on off hours whenever possible so it’s not too bad. The staff does a good job of keeping the shop in order — things are folded and hung and generally where they’re supposed to be. The staff always seems happy, and over the years I’ve met some extra-helpful employees. There was a gentleman who worked here for a time that took it upon himself to become my personal shopper — he always had a suggestion of something that was my style without up-selling. He himself had good style and I think he just really liked talking clothes with people. The only thing I’m not into isn’t specific to this location — in the last couple of years ON has gotten way into wide, flowing tops that are cut at the waist or crop length. As a chunky human you’d think the loose fit would be complimentary, but it’s not. And it’s not all that complimentary on average-sized people either — most of my lady pals have the same complaint that the shaping is just weird. Fingers crossed for fit coming back into style.

It is Old Navy, what can I really say. If what you are looking for is every day clothes to move around your world in then you found the right spot. My teenage son has a very small jeans size and Old Navy is one of the only places that carries his size! I love to shop their clearance because I always find at least a couple of things I need. The staff is hit and miss, sometimes really friendly and other times rude.
