Sprint Store By Wireless Evolution

I purchased a new plan from sprint through wireless evolution in west towns mall in Madison Wisconsin. I asked the sales person multiple times if I could return the phone at ANY sprint store since I was just visiting Wisconsin. Demetrius Jones, said salesman, told me multiple times in front of my father even, that I could indeed return to any sprint store in the nation.
When I called sprint customer service, they also said I could return it to a corporate store. I drove to a corporate store and they told me I needed to return it to a sprint wireless evolution store. When I called Demetrius jones he lied about who he was and also that a costumer would never be told what I was told and they are unwilling to help resolve this matter.

I switched from US Cellular to Sprint, and am now trying fix a mess that was created by this store due to misinformation provided by ther service reps. Go through an actual store, not an authorized dealer.

Inconsistent customer service, disorganized management. It started off great — the manager seemed really attentive and got us on our way with the promise of our phone being shipped in 2 – 5 days. I ordered a phone on Oct 30 that should have been here 5 business days later. It has now been 21 days. After numerous calls to employees, messages to the manager that were lost, and phones that rang off the hook (no voice message option), I am a dissatisfied customer. The manager even told us to call Sprint to ask for a discount/​waive our activitation fee for being such a long time customer, but no such favor exists — only when bundled with a promotion, like through Sam’s Club or something — that’s what Sprint told when I called. Over promise, under-​deliver. Even though the manager tried to make things right in the end, he ended up making things worse. Please consider another Sprint store before shopping here until they get better organized.
Update: the phone arrived after 22 days. The call to pick it up came in to a different person on our phone plan, which was weird. At least our experience picking up the phone went off without a hitch.
