Everyone needs a favorite go to Chinese restaurant — this one is ours! They are quick, efficient and most importantly — always satisfying. The Spicy Chicken is my favorite, and the Thai Curries are a hit with my wife, while the kids love the Spring Rolls and Lo Mein,

Wow just wow, they will steal your money and pretend like it’s your fault guys please stay away from this restaurant, unless your okay with giving free money away. Today I called for«take out», from this restaurant I thought everything was fine and as I give my card number to the gentleman on the phone just like normal, not even 4 minutes later he told me that the card was declined, first thing I thought was let me check my account, because I seriously thought it was my fault, so long story short I called my bank and I had well over enough in my account. So I sat there puzzled? So I called again and he told me the same thing once again«card declined»? Quickly I drove there after another call and physical checking my account and everything was okay with my account … But then I realized that they took out the transaction, so I bounce into the restaurant, to ask why was money taken out of my account and why did they lie about the decline transaction? The older gentleman told me, it’s not there fault and they refused to give me a refund and didn’t even give me my damn food that I payed for … What the hell ‚!!! So I double check again and it turns out they did take it out and I have wait 10 business day to get my money back what a headache. Please Avoid this headache.

The ice tea was very good! Tried this place. Not impressed at all. That’s what I get for being lazy! Should have made that drive to Fangs where I know the food is excellent! Ugh…

Pretty good Chinese food. The prices are quite cheap. Szechuan Spicy Shrimp General Chicken Hot and Sour Soup Quality steamed rice BBQ Pork Appetizer is delicious, but quite fatty Crab Puffs were buffet quality Shrimp toast was just shrimp wrapped and fried in an egg roll wrapper. Egg rolls themselves were tiny. A solid«4» so far until I try more of the menu.

We go there for the hot and sour soup and pan fried dumplings. The soup is the best I’ve ever had. All the other dishes that we’ve had are very good, and of decent size. No complaints in half a dozen family dinners there. The restaurant is family owned(I think) and they are very friendly and seem to do a pretty good take out business as well. I like supporting small businesses — esspecially when they do a great job.

Being Asian from San Francisco, I am very picky when comes to asian food. Overall it is good and I get take out from there. we usually get Mongolian Beef, Kung Pao Chicken, Egg Drop Soup, and Lo Mein noodles. Occasionally we get green beans, too. All are made well with primarily meat(how chinese food should be prepared) and fresh. the establishment seems to be a Chinese owned family business which I like. Didn’t see some of my favorite Hong Kong or cantonese dishes like Honey Walnut Prawns. They have walnut shrimp so I will need to try that next time.

I should’ve known right off the bat that any restaurant with such an extensive menu of different cuisines was going to disappoint me, but I suppose everyone deserves a chance. Frankly, this was the one of the worst experiences I’ve ever encountered with Asian cuisine in general. I feel I could’ve went to the store and purchase a frozen or Annie Chun Pad Thai that was more flavorful. As for the Chinese food, my boyfriend got a general tso’s chicken that was just a bowl of gross sauce, the wonton soup was clearly just canned chicken stock with frozen wonton dumplings dropped in, and the over priced egg rolls were the size of my pinky.

I just ordered delivery from here and the food was AMAZING! My husband and I ordered what we thought would be a decent amount of food for the both of us and we were pleasantly surprised at how big the portion sizes are(we have lunch and dinner for tomorrow now!)! The vegetable lo mein is perfect – it’s not loaded with garlic or dripping in oil like other places. We also had chicken fried rice, broccoli beef, and General Tsao chicken(big pieces of white meat and not that ground mush other places use) and they were all delicious. The spring rolls were perfect too. And the egg drop soup. We’ll definitely be returning!

My wife and I have ate here many times. It has become our favorite place to eat in our neighborhood. We are here at least twice a month. And I’m only home one week out of the month, being away the other three for work. Their sauces, dishes and service are above and beyond expectation. Again, these folks really do it right. For so long my wife and I were disappointed with Chinese, Japanese and Thai restaurants available in our area. But no longer. We’ve found the most awesome place and wanted to share it with everyone else. Prices are more then reasonable. Variety is great. Beer and wine selection is well stocked. I love the coconut chicken while my wife enjoys the honey shrimp. We eat out all the time so when I write that this is a place you must try, I am writing the truth. We know you’ll love it as much as us. ENJOY!

By far the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. We are not usually in that area, stuck in traffic thanks to shut down on freeway at 5pm ! So I relied on my fellow Unilocalers to lead us to a good local place. Look at the bad reviews on this one because they are all correct !! Bland food sweet and sour chicken was all batter no chicken. My hibachi beef was terrible and I’m not sure what type of beef that was it did not taste right. Even the hot tea was terrible. I think they must use one tea bag a day for every one who orders hot tea. It tasted like warm tap water. Not many choices in the area but save yourself from this place.

The worse Chinese food ever. The sweet and sour chicken was nothing but batter. No chicken inside. The sweet sour sauce tasted like it was out of a jar. Never again! Don’t know how this place is rated 4-Stars on Unilocal

Anybody who doesn’t give this place five stars is bananas. I’ve been eating here for a year now and I’ve never had one complaint. I’ve never seen a fly or a dirty table. The bathrooms are spotless. The food is always hot and soooo good. This is definitely my favorite Chinese spot.

It’s cheap & it’s quick but that’s about the only good things about it. The sweet & sour chicken is served as chicken balls, when you break open the ball it is the tiniest bit of chicken with at least 3x the amount of batter. Sauce looked store bought & was pretty bland. Husband, who is very unfussy eater, left Kung Po after a few bites saying it was disgusting. Not a good meal.

Mei Wei has been consistent. Every time we go there the food is prepared well, the service is good and the atmosphere is pleasant. I’ve become fond of numerous entrees on the menu but I can’t tell you all of them if my release from captivity depends on it! The Chinatown Stirfry, Happy Family and Szechuan Beef definitely come to mind. I absolutely love their Shrimp Spring Rolls and Peanut Sauce too. That Peanut Sauce can be a true test for some restaurants.

We’ve been craving Chinese food a lot lately. We’ve tried 3 places now and we were pleasantly surprised with Mei Wei. We went based on the reviews. The General Tsos chicken was super good. I tried their Wonton soup and I wasn’t impressed. It was very watery. I’ll still come back because I think the generals chicken was the best from the other 3 places we’ve tasted. If I built a perfect meal I would say Mei Wei’s General Tsos chicken, Fried Rice from China Bridge and the Wonton Soup from Mikados. I know that’s random but seriously try it. LOL

Clean, deep in The Woodlands, friendly employees, large menu. we ordered the Tempura Shrimp, Mongolian beef, hibachi beef, fried rice, white rice and sweet and sour chicken. I am pretty disappointed based on reviews. The food portions were good but the flavor is terrible. Compared to chains and other Chinese food in the area this is pretty good, but overall it’s not. And the service sucked.
