I would have scored them higher but the dishes they use for sundaes are two sizes too small for what they put in them! It’s hard to enjoy it when it’s melted all over you before you even sit down to enjoy it! The worker handed my fiancé his hot fudge sundae and it was immediately falling over the sides all over his hand. The worker said to «eat it quick». Really? How about you buy larger dishes.

Went here for an ice cream treat one day. Their cones are very creamy and delicious. Service and prices are good. They have a variety of flavors and slushies. The only con I see is not many outdoor tables for people to sit at and stay for a while.

YUM!!! Hidden treasure next to a self store place. They have Blueberry soft serve(or as locals know it the blue ice cream from Kings Island). It is sooo good. Great locally owned place, reasonable prices, friendly service, and never too long of a wait.

Whipty-Do! serves great ice cream! I especially like the cones. I can make a cone plain vanilla, chocolate or a mix! I especially like the many varieties of dips including the chocolate, cherry and butterscotch dips. I like Whipty-Do! because my family loves it and constantly asking me to stop. I like Whipty-Do! because it is the best place to take my sports team and eat a sweet treat! I’ve taken up to 35 people to Whipty-Do! and they all loved it! It is not uncommon to see long lines in the summer. The outside spaces accommodate lots of people. The outdoor atmosphere is festive and exciting.

The best! The only bad thing about this little gem is they aren’t open all year round! I think it’s adorable that they give change in $ 2 bills. The kids love that and I love how silky smooth the ice cream is :)

Lots of flavors, newer ice cream stand, and smurf blue soft-serve(a la Kings Island’s ice cream), much to wife’s delight. No inside service just yet, but that was the plan as of the summer, to have sit-down in 2015. Recommend highly! I just wish they were open year around with a nice place to sit inside and enjoy an ice cream, while laughing at old man winter.

Love this place! I grew up going to the Whippy Dip in Loveland so my first time going to Whipty-Do i kinda felt guilty, because i do like to support the small local businesses in the community. However you can’t beat the blue ice cream that they have, its just like the kind at Kings Island how ever much cheaper. The staff is very friendly, They have a nice amount of seating and parking at the location. I suggest you give it a shot you won’t be sorry!

Um, NOM! I have said before that I would pay the $ 35 admission fee to KI just to eat the blue ice cream, but now I don’t have to. It’s just as good as I remember! The girl working there this weekend was super friendly and helpful(a rare find in a teenage summer worker) and the ice cream was awesome. There are a million different options too– not that I will veer away from blue ice cream any time soon. Skip the Whippy Dip in Loveland and come to Whipty Do!

Smurf cones outside of KI! I was so excited to discover that I could get a smurf cone without paying to get into Kings Island! Even though it looks like it, it doesn’t have indoor seating. If you pay with cash be prepared to receive a two dollar bill!

After an unsatisfying trip to The Veg Head in Loveland, , we ended up just driving around the area a bit to help justify the half-hour trip out. :P Happened to drive past this place, it looked cute, we had a vague craving for ice cream, so the stars all aligned and we turned around and pulled in. My husband had a Whipty Whirl with Reese’s Cups mixed in. This is similar to a McFlurry. I sampled and it was just ok — my husband commented that the ice cream was a bit bland and there wasn’t enough candy mixed in. I ordered a small Peanut Butter malt that was very tasty — although the malt flavor didn’t come across very strongly. After our ice cream was passed out through the window, we were offered leis in our choice of color. I thought this was a nice touch, and I very much enjoyed my visit — albeit brief — to Whipty-Do.

Best ice cream place within several miles, love this place. They are famous for their blue ice cream which takes cues from the famous version served at Kings Island. Their selection is top notch and the service is great. No complains except for the fact that they aren’t open year-round!

This is my absolute favorite local ice cream store! The owners are great, and VERY friendly. The ice cream is awesome, and they have something on the menu for everyone. Do you like chocolate/vanilla? They have it! How about Flavor Burst? They have that, too! Blue Ice Cream?(It’s a local thing, popularized at King’s Island…) Shakes/Frappes? Whipty Whirls(akin to Blizzards/McFlurries)?? How about a traditional hot fudge sundae, float, or slushie? Whipty-Do’s there to take care of your ice cream craving! To top it all off, Whipty-Do features bunches of fun specials — follow them on Twitter and Facebook for more info!

As I was exploring the area around Mason, OH, I stumbled upon the friendly Whipty-Do ice cream cottage. I decided to stop in for a bite since it was one of the few locally-owned places I spotted in the area. I walked up and the attendent was very friendly. He went over all of the menu options with me, including the FlavorBurst add-ins. I ended up going with an item that is similar to a McFlurry– it’s the soft-serve ice cream with a topping mixed in. Talk about delicious! The soft-serve was creamy in both texture and taste. The only regret I have is that I didn’t order a bigger size! Whipty-do is a seasonal place as I understand, so they close their doors in the winter. Try this place while you can!

Fun place to take the kids after soccer practice! Best part is they have«blue berry»(smurf) ice cream all the time! The owners of the place are awesome and always have something going on, and always hosting 4square events, ever other week or so…

Whipty-do-dah, Whipty-dee-ay, Plenty of ice cream headin’ my way! I was on my way to a business meeting up in the foreign lands of Maineville when I passed by Whipty-Do! With its hand-painted sign and operation that looked like it was converted from somebody’s house, I knew this was going to be a good creamy whip. On my way back, I stopped by and stared at the long, brightly colored menu. What should I choose? The clerk recommended a FlavorBurst, which is soft serve vanilla infused with swirls of another flavor. They have about ten to choose from, but I went with«Blue.» Yes, something about a flavor being no more than a color enticed me… it was delicious! I would have to say«Blue» is actually cotton candy flavored, but it went magnificent with the vanilla. I got a medium, which was more than enough, teetering in a high pile atop my cone. All of this for just $ 2.50. The clerk also mentioned to try the Whipty-Whirl, which is like Dairy Queen’s Blizzard, except Whipty-Do! has more toppings to choose from. Toppings such as cereal! Yes, you can have Cap’n Crunch or Cinnamon Toast Crunch in your ice cream. Whipty-Do! also serves up something called Kings Island Blue ice cream, which apparently has a cult following. It’s one of the few establishments outside of the theme park that sells it. I’ll be back in Maineville in a few weeks for another business meeting, and yes, I’ve already planned a stop in at the Whipty-Do!(Wonderful feeling, wonderful day!)

Before I begin, it’s really hard to give this place five stars and say«It’s as good as it gets» after having Jeni’s & Denise’s in Columbus. BUT Whipty-Do! Is definitely one of my favorite places to go to for ice cream in Cincy. What makes this place in my opinion would be the toppings, their selection is just simply amazing. My favorite Sundae here is topped with hot fudge, peanut butter, peanuts & Cinnamon Toast Crunch. It is freaking amazing! The service is always great and they are always willing to help if it’s your first time or if you simply don’t know what you want to try. As far as seating goes, if the weather is nice, the picnic tables fill up fast so you may just need to sit in your car. It’s totally fine though because you will still be able to people watch. This place is totally dog friendly too. Your four-legged kids will love the ice cream here! Ours do!

We love Whipty-Do, and not just because it’s just down the road a bit. My husband LOVES the peanut butter sauce on a sundae. I love the Resees Whipty-Whirl(swirl ice cream, add peanut butter sauce).
