Constantly impressed by this location above all others and on this night I had the pleasure of dealing with the manager. I came in to claim my free birthday Sundae(rewards card perk!) and he made me feel special(sounds silly right? But sometimes its nice!). I chose the brownie sundae with black raspberry ice cream and it was richly delicious. This location is quite large, very clean, and in the summer does neat things like«dog night». They have a bakery/candy section as well. Try the bourbon ice cream in a pretzel bowl too! Look for their monthly/seasonal special flavors… YUM!

This place is great! I gave it 4 stars because I believe more effort could go into their customer service, I often see registers open with employed cleaning or hanging around while there are over 20 people in ice. If it’s the weekend during the summer or evening during baseball season I strongly encourage you go somewhere else unless you have over half an hour to just wait in line… Ice cream speaking? Their awesome! Location is nice, parking is great, and the place is always clean and nice inside.

Oh where do I start with Graeter’s? I am in love with their Raspberry Chocolate Chip Ice Cream. But I don’t get it in the store-the in store experience is for things I wouldn’t buy at Kroger and I am always pleased. When I am home in Mason at my moms for holidays, this location is my go-to go after dinner dessert.

They have everything here, including little mini shopping baskets. I had gelato, my friends had ice cream, one of my friends had a pecan Danish from the pastry side, brought it over to the ice cream side and for a scoop out on top. The ice cream has chocolate chunks in it. They have coffee but nothing fancy on that end. There’s a pretty spacious seating area. Good stuff.

Absolutely the best ice cream I have ever had. Along with stupendous customer service by Dick, who perhaps is the manager. I had the blueberry pie and my husband had his usual dark cherry. We usually purchase a pint each Friday but decided to come in mid week for a pick– me — up! Thanks Grater’s!

Bourbon pecan chocolate chip ice cream. I could stop my review right there and you would probably have everything you needed to know. It was creamy, nutty, chocolately, everything you could possibly want in ice cream. And I can’t explain it, but Graeters chocolate chips don’t freeze solid and hard like other brands. They are still soft when they scoop it. Which doesn’t make any scientific sense, but is awesome! I got mine in a waffle cone, which was delicious. Now, as awesome as this was, there WERE some things that I would change, though my 5 star review stands. 1. My waffle cone was wrapped in paper. This paper appeared to be glued together at the seams. Well, this glue seemed to have seeped through the seams, rendering the bottom inch and a half of my waffle cone inedible, because I wasn’t willing to ingest glue and paper residue. 2. I wanted to be able to buy the chocolate chips they use in their ice cream separately to take home with me. They sold other kinds of chocolates, but not the particular kind of chocolate chips that they put IN their ice cream.

I am a huge sucker for ice cream so when I saw this place near my hotel, I knew exactly what I was going to have for breakfast — ice cream! The service was great. They let me try a few flavors and the portion size fora single scoop is UNREAL. The black raspberry chocolate chip is really good! It was so rich and the chocolate chips were a nice surprise. They aren’t really crunchy chips either, they kind of melt quickly in the mouth. The coconut chocolate chip is also a nice flavor. Can’t go wrong with this flavor. Also had the black cherry chocolate chip but it honestly reminded me of a cherry slurpee so I preferred the black raspberry ice cream more. Definitely check this place out! :)

Awesome ice cream and super nice manager and crew. Drove in right at close after a day at Kings Island and they held the door open for us! Ate at the tables outside and savored every bite. Why can’t there be one of these in Detroit?

Graeter’s is my favorite ice cream in Ohio – there I said it. Their ice cream is pure creamy/tasty goodness and their chocolate chip flavors are out-of-this-world, thanks to the delicious dark chocolate flavor of their chocolate chunks. This location could be one of their premier stores with plenty of sweets aside from the ice cream for sale, along with plenty of to-go tubs of their ice cream for sale if you prefer to eat your ice cream at home. Lots of seating inside and some seating outside as well, along with plenty of parking. As I just moved to Cincinnati and I live very close to this store, I’ll be hitting this one up whenever my sweet tooth gets me.

I love Graeter’s Ice Cream … especially the Raspberry Chocolate chip. This particular Graeter’s, like it seems all Graeter’s I have ever been to, is crowded, busy, and has virtually no seating inside. So, you stand in line, feel pressured to make a quick decision, and rather than experimenting with any of the other varieties, you, boom, go with the default. Then you try to keep from dripping ice cream on either yourself, or any of the dozens of others in line, as you try to turn sideways, suck in your gut, hold the cone in the air, and dance your way outside. Luckily, there is a pretty cool outside sitting around place. Even more lucky, last night, it was not like a hundred degrees. Unluckily, it seems that this area has a bad«no-see-um» problem, and so as you bite into your ice cream cone, you are also getting bitten as well. I guess one good bite deserves another. Is it worth it? Sure it is. I mean, dude, we come here every time we get a chance. It is like flying now days, you know it is going to be a major pain, but you do it anyway if you want to get where you want to go. So where do you want to go here? Well to sugar infused, freeze brain, heaven that is where. AND I just saw this here today, they have low glycemic ice cream, so you can even skip the sugar infused if you wish.

Their cookies and cream is YUM! They are very generous with the Oreos. You’ll be delighted to find huge chunks in your ice cream ;-) the dark chocolate chip is very rich. Friendly staff. Fast service. Definitely recommend.

Cookies and cream is my favorite here! Best one I’ve tasted! Big chunks of Oreo cookies mixed with creamy vanilla make me come back to this every time. Not so much a fan of the chocolate chip flavors because he chocolate takes up most of the ice cream. I like a good ribbon of chocolate but this kinda goes overboard. Definitely just a personal preference though. But the choc chip flavors are the very reason my brother LOVES Graeter’s.

This place is awesome! The ice cream was so good and the workers were some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. An employee named Dick went above and beyond to make it an enjoyable experience for us and our kids!

Cute cheerful location with great service and delicious treats! Honestly, I’m not a huge fan of ice cream in general, but I was convinced to try some Graeter’s during my visit over thanksgiving break and I was so glad for it! I especially loved the décor and history of the establishment, and the very friendly service. Since all the options looked delicious, it took us a while to pick our final three flavors, but they were super patient and helpful the whole time. Twas great to experience the famously flavorful ice cream at the city of its origins!

Patrick(the associate who helped/kindly tolerated me) the other night went above and beyond to find out about online ordering holiday wrapped boxes and shipping costs to NM. if the ice cream alone is not enough to get you in here please also consider that they have a small bakery where they have donuts and chocolates and all sorts of delectable yummies available, all displayed nicely. There’s also tables to sit at and enjoy your cone(both in and outside). :)

Graeter’s is the only commercial ice cream producer, in the world, that still makes all of their ice cream in small batches(by hand) in two-gallon French pots. Warm cocoa is slowly added to the mixture as it freezes on the side of the pan, and then scraped off into the milk. Rah, the joy of seeing my friend’s little girl find the surprise of a large chunk of chocolate at the bottom of her cup. They’ve been in business since 1870, and if you like history, check out their website which has lots of stories about their bygone years, including pictures of their antique scoop collection. At this particular location, you can sit outside at the patio, and play the piano as other guests(and birds) sing along.

NOMNOMNOMNOMNOM Wow. I lived in Cincinnati in the mid-‘90s and back then I thought it was the best ice cream I’d ever eaten(and I’m an expert in ice cream). I wasn’t sure that I would still feel this way after having traveled quite a bit and sampled a range of other great ice cream places. Well… it’s still the best. It’s pure creamy heaven with chunks of wow.
