I hate to give bad reviews unless the place was really really bad, and this place is «OK» but not great. Cheap/reasonably priced, but the few times I’ve eaten here I was not very impressed. Perhaps just average quality.

We’ve ordered twice online within the last month. The delivery was fast and delivery person always friendly and courteous. We thought the food was absolutely delicious, everything was hot and cooked perfectly. We tried Crab Rangoon, Fried dumplings, Chicken Teriyaki(best we ever had– not dry at all, great flavor), We also had the vegetable fried rice, lobster sauce and scallops w/vegetables in garlic sauce which had awesome flavor and the veggies were fresh and cooked perfectly. Also to note, the Crab Rangoon was one of the best we ever had, they were loaded with delicious cream cheese filling. I highly recommend this place!

This is the best Chinese restaurant in Malden, the price is cheap compare to other restaurants in the area. The food taste delicous, especially is their general gao chicken and beef broccolli. I will definitely come back again.

Ordered delivery from this place $ 67 bucks with tip in the trash… we ordered 2 pupu platters, rice, lo mein and scallion panckes… the appetizers were all reheated, overcooked soaked in oil it was apparent they were old and they figured to dump this old crap on me. There was only 2 spareribs per platter that were cooked twice, dry and gross and only one eggroll per platter… come on. the deep fried shrimp were unedible, all grease and hard batter with a sliver of hard rubbery overcooked shrimp in them. Chicken fingers were the same, hard overcooked dry chicken in a greasy hard batter The rice was tastless and mushy with old brown pork in it that we had to pick out. Lo mein was just average nothing special and very bland The scallion panckes were ok but they are also the cheapest and easiest thing to make on a chinese menu. So it gets one star from me, I will never order from there again and suggest you dont either. And a message to the owners of this place… You should be ashamed of serving old reheated food like that to your community its very bad business, and a disgrace to your culture, I would never recommend anyone to order chinese food from your restaurant

Unlike The Chinese place across the street from here… everything seems to be made in house. Tastes good, well made, prompt friendly delivery. Good mei fun and rangoons. Just a good bet overall.

I always ordered from here when I lived in Malden, now I live in Everett and this place takes less time to deliver then the place two blocks down the road. The food always arrives piping hot — so hot, in fact that it needs time to cool before eating. Their lunch specials are incredible — $ 4.95 for a huge portion of the entrée, and an even bigger portion of fried or white rice. No eggroll or soup included — but again $ 4.95! This is the first place I’ve ever ordered sweet-and-sour chicken with a chicken hasn’t been a doughy soggy mess. The batter is light and crisp and the chicken inside is hot, moist and juicy. I like the hot and spicy beef, as well as the sesame chicken. They also have THE best fried dumplings I’ve ever had. Fast delivery, reasonable prices, hot, tasty food — what more could one want?

The lo mein was good. The pepper steak had onions in it, which is a travesty. Not only that, but the onions were not thoroughly sauteed! Egg roles were so-so. Not going back.

We have been recently disappointed by our normal chinese food take out restaurant so decided to try a new one. I was able to order through their website which was very easy and convenient. The food arrived a few minutes before my delivery time I chose which was great. It was piping hot. The portions were a tad small compared to the other place we used to go and the food was decent, nothing spectacular. I did thoroughly enjoy the chicken fingers though, they were very crunchy not mushy at all. My only real issue was the delivery. I had written extremely specific directions as to what area/door at my house to deliver to and they went to the wrong one and when the delivery guy called me he couldn’t understand me nor could I understand him. I was frustrated because as I said I had given blunt and specific directions in regards to the delivery place. Not sure yet whether I would order from there again. They weren’t horrible but nothing spectacular. More convenient than anything else.

This was our 2nd time here. 1st time was a good experience. 2nd time was horrible. Ordered a PuPu Platter, House Lo Mein and 2 Pepsi Colas. We did not receive the soda. The ribs and teriaki were so dry they were like beef jerky. The chicken had more coating than Chicken. Paid $ 30 for all of this and all I got was food poisoning. I was puking and having the runs. Will not go back!

Why I am giving this place 4 stars: 1) For $ 23 we got: a large pork fried rice, 8 fried dumplings, 6 chicken fingers, 6 crab rangoons, 2 beef teriyaki sticks, and a ton of boneless spareribs. So. Much. Food! 2) You can order and pay on-line. I did it all on my phone. I like that. 3) Placed our order at 8:10PM…we were STUFFEDTOTHEGILLS before 9:00. Delivery was fast. I forgot to mention we had it delivered. $ 2 charge(I didn’t include that in the price of food… so after the delivery charge and the $ 2 tip it was $ 27 for lots and lots of food in the laziest way possible) 4) THEYGAVEUS A SWEETCALENDARTHINGTHATISALSO A MENUAND I AMEASILYPLEASED! When I ran downstairs to grab our food the gentleman who delivered handled me the bag of food and then a long rectangular box. When I got upstairs I excitedly opened it and it was a calendar that unfurled like a giant scroll and had the zodiac on it. On the bottom was the menu. Awesome marketing tactic if you ask me. 5) The food was very good – no complaints. I LOVED the dumplings, which is dangerous because they only come in the large size. Give this place a shot. I’d give it five stars but I’ve only been there once… compared to Melrose Garden(which is about a three second walk from my apartment) this place is phenomenal.

Just ok. It was better when it first opened. I also sometime find the food oddly seasoned, not bad just not what I would expect. I would say the food is inconsistent but passable. I wouldn’t recommend you race out to try the place. In the end it’s about the same as most takes places and oddly seasoned at times.

Do not buy the shrimp lo mein; I ordered it the order day, overcooked lo mein(large), shrimp was tasteless, the food was not enjoyable. However, I’ve ordered in the past boneless shredded ribs; chicken wings which were fine. Um!!! As the other poster said… it is very hard finding a great chinese restaurant. But I will try out different dishes. Service is prompt!!!

Is it just me, or is it difficult to find a truly outstanding Chinese restaurant? I usually find that most of them are just so-so, with perhaps one specialty that they make better than others. Well, finally, a great one opened up in Malden. So far I have only had delivery from this place, so I cannot speak for the dining room service, but I have nothing but great things to say about the delivery service and the food. Perhaps it is because they are new, but they already know me and recognize me when I call. Once when I called to order, I switched my usual meal up a little, ordering a different type of fried rice, and a few minutes later they called me back just to verify the order-taker didn’t make a mistake, because someone there realized that my order was slightly off from usual. The other thing to mention about the ordering process, that separates it from most ethnic restaurants, is that there are no communication problems. The orders are always placed easily, and I don’t have to repeat my address a bunch of times. Finally to the food. Everything I and my friends have tried has been excellent, but I would like to call attention to the dumplings. They are outstanding. The only restaurant that makes better dumplings is Yangtze River(in Littleton and Lexington). Fortune Corner’s are very very close to being as good, which puts them way above the bland dumplings at every other restaurant.
