I am very upset with the service. for five years I have been ordering my sandwiches at this place and they have been so rude lately that I refuse to continue coming here. Francisco throws my food into making my sandwich and has an attitude. I don’t want to eat bad karma. Once I was told to cover my gray hair, I told her own to mind her business. But they won’t have business if they continue like this!

I don’t think it’s fair that a star should be given. I must say I hate this one subway in particular. The guy that works there is super rude. All staff is Latino. Ok, so I go in and get a sandwich today. It is a Spanish speaking lady in front of me(ordering half the store). I wait patiently because I DONOTWANTTHIS one DUDEMAKINGMYSANDWICHATALL! Still waiting by the 3rd sandwich in he comes out to help. He asked if I were ready and I said no I’d rather you not make my sandwich because you always have an attitude. This is where it got rude… So he says something in Spanish and the lady In line turns and looks me up and down. another lady comes out to help me so now all four of them are speaking Spanish and giving attitude because I didn’t want him to make my sandwich. Here’s the thing I walked in a sandwich shop not a Mexican restaurant, so don’t talk about me in Spanish. If you have something to say PLEASE Say it in English. This is not my 1st time here but it will be my last. I go because it’s the only subway close in Malibu, but I’m cool. I’d rather be treated with respect and spend the SAMEGREENMONEY the next nanny is spending! –Eat fresh.

Very impressed with the staff. All smiles, friendly and engaging with customers. I’ve been to plenty of Subways because I’m a vegetable vitamin fanatic & this Subway is one of the best because of the customer service. Customer service is EVERYTHING at any restaurant whether it’s fast food or gourmet! I like to be treated as my business matters & wahLa, thank you Subway Malibu!

Normally my husband doesn’t like subway, but this time, after an afternoon at a beach in Malibu, we stopped here to eat before continuing back to our hotel. The staff were all Latino, Spanish speaking and were very nice. My husband and I split a Hot Pastrami sub and our kids split a meatball sub. We got 4 large drinks and the total was around $ 24. Inexpensive meal that didn’t take too long to eat, as we still had over an hour drive to our hotel. Subs were very filling and we really liked the ambiance. Quiet place.

Well, this is the 2nd time this has happened so I figured it was worth a review. Stopped by to pick up a late dinner at 7:45pm, Subway is open till 10pm. Everything is cleaned up and put away. The guys working the counter are rude and act annoyed about having to get the items back out. And say the are out of almost everything so you leave. I let it go the first time. But this is the second time. The restaurant closes at 10pm not 7:45pm.

Incompetent sandwich makers who barely understand English and do not listen to customers orders. The food tastes like Subway, nothing special. However, inconsistency in service makes me never want to return. They offered a student discount for a while and then suddenly stopped? Being inconsistent is the only thing they do well.

Fastest most efficient service of any Subway I have ever been to. As a former student-athlete at Pepperdine with a huge appetite and packed schedule, I came here a lot because I knew I could have a good healthy option and get it quickly. I’ve seen the line out the door and it went by in a breeze. Service/servers are extremely fast but not too fast at the cost of quality. Place is very clean and well maintained as well as recently renovated. Easily best Subway in Southern California! Antonio and Rebeca are great!

This is the letter that was written to Subway Corporate and what I will also be telling them when I call them after work: I am absolutely done with this Subway. You can thank Elsa Ramirez clerk #2011 for that. My office gets $ 20 – 40 in Subway every day from this location and that ends today. I sent a coworker with a write out of what I wanted which I am more than happy to scan and send to you. In very large, legible writing it said exactly what I wanted. Not only did she have it, but she handed it to them which now has their glove smudges all over it. She came back and handed me a salad missing the bacon and with olives, onions, peppers, and cucumbers. Anyway, I go to the store and show them the list and say that this is nowhere near the salad that I wanted. The guy took the salad and gave it to the clerk. I patiently waited in line to get to the front. Once I did, she said«There’s nothing we can do.» I said«No, this is the list for my salad. I get this salad at least once a week from here.» She said what I wrote down isn’t a real salad. Excuse me? It’s MY salad! I told her I wanted it remade with JUST what I wrote. She tells the guy next to her something in Spanish. He returns with lettuce in a bowl and just hands me the meat in their containers and she tells me to leave. I looked at her confused and she waves her hand at me to shoo me away like a dog and says«Go. Leave.» So now I have no cheese, cold meat, no dressings and am being told I have to leave because they made my salad wrong because what I wanted wasn’t a «real» salad? I paid for double meat that I wanted warm, for cheese, for dressing and this is what I get? I have pictures of what they handed me, their chicken with the paper on it and still in their little containers on my desk at work and a piece of bacon just thrown in a cookie bag with lettuce alone in a bowl. I’m more than happy to share those with the internet as well. This is the WORST case of customer service I have ever dealt with and guess what? I’ve been in customer service for over 7 years and EVENIN A CUSTOMSANDWICHSHOP. Elsa Ramirez is the worst person to represent your company. Like I said, I will make sure that my business never returns to this Subway again. Absolutely the worst.

This Subway gets very busy during lunch hours, but they allow call ahead orders so make sure to do that if you are in a rush. Service is so-so, fairly good chance you will get someone who is very sloppy at putting together your sandwich.

5 stars, not so much for Subway cause it is Subway so you already know you are getting 2 star food. No, the 5 stars is for those guys who have been working there for yearssss. They are awesome and I have to stop in a couple times a month to say hi and grab my sandwich to go when busy at work. :) So Salute to you Amigos! Keep up the good work. I love to make the short guy laugh by ordering meatball sandwhich as a joke.

Stopped here after our hike at Solstice Canyon. We couldn’t wait for a table at Coogies, whatever that place is, so I went with the flow and said Subway was fine(even though I am an artery clogging Jersey Mike’s fan.) I was impressed at how many people they had staffed for a Saturday morning, but it was completely justified. There was a line almost to the door! With that said, we were helped quickly and efficiently. I did have trouble understanding the first lady’s English, but no matter things still got taken care of. Plenty of seating inside and outside. A pretty water fountain was nice to sit next to. The only bad thing about outside was the birds. Other than that it was a beautiful lunch experience, not to mention I finally got to see where Madison(from Million Dollar Listing on Bravo) works. which is steps away.

This is the worst subways I’ve ever been to. The staff treat the customers terribly and they don’t listen I always end up with a sandwich made different than how I ordered it. I always leave this place frustrated. I would suggest going to the supermarket in the same parking lot and getting far better sandwich there.

This 5 star review is in comparison to other Subways I’ve experienced. This is my usual go to lunch place when I need to get off campus for a break mainly because this place is fast. Wait, maybe fast is an understatement. It might be faster than Justin Beiber’s fan club selling out the Staples Center. The great thing about this Subway is that even though they make sandwiches fast my sandwiches are always put together well. They never come sloppy, over mayo’d, or messy. I can’t say other Subways take that much care into their preparation. Sometimes at other Subways, it’s like my sandwich was literally make on a subway. This location is pretty well kept considering how busy this location is but at times it’s not pristine. There’s usually plenty of parking during the lunch rush too. It’s hard to go wrong at a Subway but this one in Malibu is pretty good.

The place was clean and smelled good. I smelled of good food. These are two signs that a restaurant is clean. The line was long, but the staff got me in and out quickly. There were plenty of tables and this area has the small town Malibu feel which makes it feel like I am on vacation.

Subway is located in a strip mall with a CVS, Starbucks, Bank of America, etc. There are tons of parking spaces which makes this location extremely convenient. Although there were quite a few people there at the same time we were there, they had plenty of staff available to keep the line moving. There is seating indoors and outdoors if you decide to dine there instead of taking your food to go. The staff members were friendly and efficient. The most impressive part of the location? They use paper bags instead of plastic. I’ve never seen the paper bags before, so I’m wondering if they’re new to all Subways, or just this one since they’re next to the beach and plastic bags are a sea animal’s deadliest enemy.
