Ever had such a weirdly negative experience you just had to believe it wasn’t real? Like maybe you were on a prank camera show? That’s how entertainingly bad this place is. Seemingly stuck in the ‘70s with no drive thru, no bathroom, day-​old food, sauces cost extra, owner sits on a stool talking on the phone before taking your order, the list goes on. Welcome to the Twilight Zone.

Terrible! Food, sure it’s kfc and that’s fine. No bathroom! Tiny parking lot — no drive thru. Cashier had her ear buds in and was rocking out to her tunes. Probably why she walked away when I asked a question. Finally took my order. After she sneezed on her hands, she handed me my beverage cup. Then for the three things I ordered she gave me three different bags. This place must be near closing because they don’t care at all about this place.

I guess this owner really doesn’t care! I just called him to tell him that he overcharged me and if he could fix it. I told him that I won’t post on Unilocal until he figures out my double charge on my credit card. He practically chuckled and said «DO WHAT YOU GOTTA DO»
So…with that said. Going to do what I «gotta do»
This location is the shadiest place I’ve been to. DO NOT step in here. I came in with my family after the beach and we were ready to eat! We wanted to wash our hands before as my sister placed our order and we were told to use the MCDONALDS restroom. WHAT?
All the lights were dimmed and napkin holders were empty. I knew I had entered the CHEAPEST establishment I’ve ever seen. It was so hot in there everyone was sweating. After our food came out it looked re-​breaded. This was NOT fresh at all!
I’ve had KFC before and it does NOT taste like this.
Do not come here thinking you are about to have a «view» you will be sitting in a hot establishment watching people pass by with the breeze blowing on them.

Who sends their customers over to McDonalds to use their bathroom. I’m sure they must be really confused seeing people walk on back to KFC. I will also call corporate and let them know!

On the way to the beach I thought KFC would be great to take for lunch. I waited until 10:30 for them to open, as the sign says. However, even though there were employees inside, u could smell the chicken cooking and one employee even served himself some soda and looked straight at me then walked to the back, they did not open until 10:40.

5 stard with the understanding that it’s a KFC nothing less or more. Still, taste wise it was the best KFC I have been at. Really tasty chicken and coleslaw not drenched in mayo.

The food is what it should be expected. The service is terrible. The female clerk looks bored and has the most unfriendly demeanor ever.

I have no idea if if this is KFC, although it has the name, KFC really needs to look into this place, no restroom know where to wash hands so different then the KFC in the city .The lady gave me 2 little napkins to wipe my hands full of oil, seriously.

Shitty service and bad food specific to this location only. I am considering calling corporate to file a complaint.
I was under the impression that what I ordered was available but when the food comes out its not what I ordered. The lazy ass employee just tells me that they don’t have it. Why didn’t she just tell me that then when I ordered??!

This rating is about the establishment itself not the service. How is it possible that KFC… A worldwide fast food place does not have a bathroom!!! There are very few places in this area to stop. As a paying customer of a restaurant chain I expect at the very least to have a place to WASH MY HANDS before I sit down and have a meal. I’m disgusted and lost my appetite. If you are hungry and in a rush go down the street to jack in the box. Nice service and they have an actual bathroom where the toilets flush and running water to wash your hands.

Stopped here today and felt compelled to leave a review. Food was fresh and the owner was very friendly and helpful. It seemed more like a family-​run restaurant than a fast-​food chain. Definitely the nicest KFC we’ve ever been to.

This KFC sucks! Not satisfying and the restrooms are outside in a Porta potty. So gross!

You sure this is kfc? Chicken is not fresh and the people here are so stingy. We asked for extra napkin since i have a two yr old with me and all they gave us is two nap. U serious?

Finally a KFC that taste like real food! So good almost ate the plate and the staff couldn’t be nicer. Finally I found my one and only KFC :)

Nice people. I think its cool that this KFC is owned and operated by the same couple who opened it in the 70s.

Food is good and there fast with the orders. The only thing that crosses my mind is that they take the other invoice and keep it. I always wonder if they put there own tip and total.

They open at 11 on the weekends and 10 on the weekday. Which set me back a little bit because I was on my way to hang out at the beach all day and wanted something easy and quick. The owner showed up at 10:55 am. I was the first one in. This place is small. Port-​a-​potty outside. The chicken wasn’t that fresh considering I was the first one there.
The owner was a bit weird. When the food came out he just placed it on the counter and gave me a look. I asked if my coleslaw was inside and he didn’t answer me. It’s a small joint so I’m sure he heard me.
I haven’t been to KFC in 5 years and because of this location, I’m sure I won’t be going back for a very long time.

Worst kfc there is. DO NOT GO HERE. Chicken has been sitting out probably for hours. I’m use to going to the kfc on Centinela and La Cienega which is basically inglewood. This is probably the best kfc I’ve ever had at that location… but this one is far from it. I don’t ever recommend going here.
Food is bad, décor is bad, cleanliness is bad, staff is horrible. The owner usually works the front and he looks like the kfc dude himself.

Weird parking and a restroom outside of the restaurant conspire to make this KFC a less-​than-​desirable stop on PCH. Of course, if you’re looking for cheap, quickly served food, KFC does fit the bill. The food is as you’d expect, and the adult servers are superior to what you usually get from kids.

Just now enjoyed a gourmet chicken dinner at Kfc in Malibu.
Clean, quick service, and a very reasonable price.

Wanted to get that variety big box meal and they told me something about not having it yet ???
Got some popcorn chicken instead and it usually comes with those nice wedges and instead it came with chips! another wtf!
Also no restrooms here. You have to use porta pottys outside in the back. They give you those moist towelettes for your hands.
Last but not least, since it is in Malibu you should expect higher prices. Someone came asking for a 99c snacker and they were told it was $ 1.39+ tax.
