I’ve been following these ladies for years. I’ve had different hair colors and my hair looks better and better each time I have it done at Salon Posh. I just got a full head of highlights and it looks gorgeous. The salon is always busy yet homey, comfortable and everyone is warm, friendly and supportive. Highly recommend Diane, Amanda & Gina!

The owner is money hungry woman who has zero class. The worst customer service I have ever seen and I have worked as waitress and manager at my family’s restaurant for years. I have been a customer for years and she was unwilling to work with me on my deposit for my wedding due to date moved. Then she finally agreed in email to let me us $ 100 out of $ 300 for hair service. I went back she was SO rude and SO ungrateful. After I told her I wasn’t coming back she said I wasn’t welcome here anymore. Then she said«You messed with the wrong woman». Here I was not causing a scene, but the owner(who wouldn’t change her«policy» for a long time customer who has never given her a problem over the years) is saying this in front of HER customers as I was already walking away. Low class. Spend your money with people who deserve it. Oh, she was also mad I asked her employee if she would do services on the side. NEWSFLASH: most people have side jobs. I would have told her to her face if she asked me about it. I mean you work in a salon, please, no one would be scared to tell you anything.

I always look forward to my appointment with Stacey! She’s so friendly and knowledgeable. She was my stylist for my wedding two years ago and I have not been to anyone else since. She’s great at helping me choose a color that works well on me, along with a cut that fits my busy life. I had to take one star off only because of parking. Sometimes you can get a spot right in front but on busier days it can be a bit of a challenge. The staff is great; welcoming, friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend making an appointment with anyone here.

Honestly the best! I’m usually really worried when getting a haircut, because I’ve had a lot of stylists completely disregard what I ask for and do what they would rather see. I regularly see Stacy, and she always remembers me and listens to EXACTLY what I want. Everyone is so friendly, too, and they do such a great job. So happy a friend recommended me here.

Wanted to try a new place and let’s just say I’m not going back to my old one. I always feel good leaving with my new cut.

The staff, the experience, the outcome. Walking in for my first hair trial I was VERY nervous. I had this picture in my head of a soft, simple, effortless style, which I knew would be very hard to achieve(I have a TON of thick hair). Amanda was amazing. She«got it» right away, and on the day of my wedding created my vision better than I could’ve imagined. Additionally, she and her team were able to execute that vision for ALL of my bridesmaids. Everyone received so many complements. I couldn’t have been happier.

Diane Cermele is an amazing colorist, stylist, and business owner. I cannot rave about her enough. She executes the plans for my hair flawlessly and the outcome always FAR exceeds my expectations. She gives honest opinions while staying exactly true to what you want. They’re so sweet and considerate here at Salon Posh. It is very obvious that they truly value every single customer. There is never excessive waiting around(as I have experienced with past stylists at other salons) yet I do not feel rushed in the slightest. I can see myself continuing business here for a long time to come. To the ladies at the salon, we are just clients; but when someone makes a client feel and look better than we’ve felt or looked in years, your value goes BEYOND«stylists»: to us, you’re true saviors. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Stylist: Stacey Update: Post shower. I HATE it! It’s a hot mess. The bangs are all over the place and it’s one big frizzy mess and YES I used hairspray! So upset!!! HAIRISRUINED! Pre shower: MEH. Not the worst cut but definitely not the best. I was desperate for a cut after letting it go for almost a year(life got in the way). I came in with a belly full of butterflies and armed with a lot of pictures including one of me with a cut I adored before it all went to pot(I refused to go back to my old stylist. See Soon West review). Stacey seemed confident and excited so I started to let my guard down. She said those dreaded words: layers. I know my hair. I’ve had layers. They just don’t work. But she seemed confident that this time it would be different so against my better judgement I acquiesced. I also have very difficult bangs riddled with cowlicks. I wanted them to not look like a 12 yr old girls and wanted them to blend nicely. But first the hair washing. It hurt! No protective cape. Back of head on hard edge of sink. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable for a wash and couldn’t wait for it to be over(usually this is the ultimate pampering head massage experience. Not today). So dripping wet I’m finally in the chair saying goodbye to 7″ of rats nest filler. At first I think ok. This is nice. But by the end I was upset. She did some weird shaving thing which I’ve had before and it really upsets my hair and makes it even more fragile and frizzy than it already is. Then the bangs. As predicted they are not good. Not blending not sexy very much the odd little girl bangs I feared they’d end up being complete with being too short and a little crooked because of the cowlicks. Then the layers. I knew it. Very much the frizzy mess I wanted to avoid. Her answer to this was a bit um not so helpful. «Theres nothing I can do about the frizz. The layers are long enough they’ll grow out quick. Get some hair spray.» Sigh. With that I just wanted to take my polite self out of there.(I’m a coward and didn’t want a confrontation. That’s what Unilocal is for)! The pros: the 15% off I received for being a new test subject. Definitely way cheaper than a city cut but again MEH. I’m not sure if super cuts couldn’t have done about the same. So it’s way better than what I had but it’s definitely not the sexy but professional cut I had hoped for after growing it out for a year. Disappointed. But it does grow back! Thank goodness. I get to find someone else. Someday ill find the one(stylist). Someday.

Diane(owner) did my hair for my rehearsal dinner and wedding and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Her team was so professional and fun at the same time. Every bridesmaid left happy and received so many compliments at the wedding. I wish they were in NYC so I could get my hair done all the time!

This place was horrible. Don’t waste your money. I decided to give Posh a try and called ahead of time to explain what I wanted done to my hair(a deep conditioner, cut, and blow dry). Since it was my first time the receptionist reassured me that their best hair stylist(Stacey) will do my hair and she will even spend some extra time with me for a consultation. When I got there, there was no consultation just straight to wash my hair. I would have preferred some recommendations for my hair, but I decided to let it slide. As the hairstylists began to cut my hair she realized that she was over booked, so the hairstylist was freaking out trying to hurry and blow dry my hair and cut it. The cut was mediocre, and when I left my hair was still wet on the inside and frizzy on the outside. I had to spend 40 mins. at home fixing it. Here’s the worst part. The hairstylist(Stacey) NEVER asked how I liked my hair before blow drying it, so when she was done it was pin straight. When I asked her to curl the ends, she didn’t know what I was talking about. After I gave her an example, she called the assistant over to do it, never asking me if it was ok for the assistant for finish up, never saying good bye, and NEVER asking what I thought about my hair. She went straight to the next client. This place was a complete waste of time and money.

I’ve gone here 3 times now. I always go to Stacey, who is amazing. She dyed my hair from ombré back to original color and it came out great. She always knows exactly how I want my hair done and the price is right especially for this area. Will continue to be a loyal customer!

Along with my highlights, I got my first Brazilian treatment here a few months ago. The stylist(whose name I can’t remember), had made a scheduling error and therefore rushed through both processes and handled my hair aggressively(quickly raking through the lengths of wet, knotted, fragile hair from crown to ends, ripping and snapping off small clumps during the several post-chemical applications) because she had another client with whom she had to volley back and forth. She rushed through the highlights using only one color(which I’ve never seen done before), foiling in too-large bundles of hair and leaving me under the heat for too long which resulted in a bright, chunky, striped look. After a long session w/toners, she brought the shade down to a fairly natural color, but the overly-wide chunks were still noticeable and not broken-up enough. The Brazilian didn’t take as long as expected and the results were decent, but she handled my hair so roughly that I ended up with 10% of my hair snapped off at mid-length. There was no ventilation except for a stand-up fan, but my eyes still hurt and teared throughout the application of the chemicals. Highlights and Brazilian came to $ 600 excluding tip.

I went there for a color for my first time there. I had Gina as my hair person. She gave great suggestions on what I can do and what would look good. Definitely would go back to see her.

Went there to get my bangs cut a week ago. It was my first time but I asked about the price. They said around 45 since I was getting a blowout too. I checked the pamphlet they had at the counter for the price and it said 35 but on the wall it said 40. I waited quite a bit before my stylist got back from break even though I was early. They have a dog in the salon so it isn’t good if you’re allergic. They have up to date magazines though. The girl that shampooed my hair was nice and they put this extremely fragrant mango shampoo in. She uses about 5 different products on my hair. I wasn’t comfortable in the chair since my neck was tilted too far back for my liking. When i got up from the chair she didn’t towel my hair or anything except for a quick run around my face with a towel and then stuck the towel in my ears quickly! I was so shocked! Well my shirt got wet since I have fairly long hair. I asked for side bangs that fell around my eye and I expected it to be a smooth transition but it was so choppy! Then she put styling crème on my bangs which got on to my face and anyone who looked at my face would know not to do that since I have acne and its obvious that that would increase it. But my bangs are like short then long but no midway at all.

If you want to cover the gray on your rootline AND match the color of the rest of the hair on your head, DONOTGOHERE!!! I did and am sorry because my hair looks striped. The stylist, Melissa Souto, would not acknowledge her error– she says she changed product lines and now I have a «warmer tone». No, I have a red stripe of hair at the rootline against dark blonde/light brown hair. Essentially, she swapped the gray for red. Her intended fix was to make my entire head brown(after a lifetime of blonde hair) but the red strip at the rootline remains. It looks ridiculous. Now she won’t return my phone calls. If you are a professional in the workforce and do not want to have odd-colored hair, find someone who understands what you need at some other shop. Obviously, the customer is never right at this salon.
