The seafood plater is very good. my family ate here while on vacation. The greek salad was wonderful. The fried shrimp was my family favorite. Its worth a wait and the portions are large.

Service was great! Very friendly and accommodating! Omelets were fantastic! The only downside was they don’t accept credit cards. They do have an ATM though, other than that it was excellent!

I love this place. It was a childhood breakfast destination and seeing as it has good food, reasonable prices, and fast service it is no wonder the restaurant has withstood the test of time. Originally located on Lake Worth beach, the restaurant relocated to a shopping plaza behind the Ritz Carlton on Manalapan. The location has plentiful parking and a large outdoor area to accommodate those waiting for a table. Be aware there is a queue to get a table and if you come during popular breakfast hours you will have to wait although the line moves pretty quickly. I recently visited this location after running a 10k so I was ready to eat all of the things. Our server was prompt to offer water and each breakfast order comes with a choice of juice or a fruit cup so I opted for some refreshing orange juice. It was cold and delicious. I enjoyed the two eggs which comes with hash browns or grits and toast. I added some bacon because I was dreaming about it on the last 1.5 miles of my run. Run for bacon! Run for bacon! Everything was served hot and was delicious. My dining companions had essentially the same, but switched up the sides opting for hash browns rather than grits and a fruit cup rather than juice. No complaints about anything.

If you see a line out the door on a weekend morning, DONOT look for a different option. That line will diminish and it is worth every minute of waiting. The food is outstanding. Best place in town for a true home style breakfast! Attentive and friendly service is never a question. You will be happy you waited. And quite full. Portions are generous! Thanks team! I don’t recommend it, I INSIST you try it out!

Highly recommend for both lunch and dinner. Breakfast and lunch options are great. Plenty of great food and customer service that could be a role model for training. Worth waiting in line to experience.

Easy access to parking compared to the old location, however I do miss the view of the Ocean while enjoying great seafood. The service was great and the meals were hot and on point.

This was right across from our hotel and had great ratings. Very happy to eat here! We went a little before 8 am and it was busy but no wait. I couldn’t resist the almond french toast with a side of bacon. The french toast was very good. I wish they actually had a little less because I hate wasting food. The bacon was a bit burnt but still tasted good. My husband tried the croissant sandwich with bacon substituted instead of ham. It was well done. We felt quite fat when we left but satisfied. Cash only as others mentioned.

Eh… I’m not sure what all the hype is about. Is it good? Sure. Is it great? Not really. The service is exceptional and friendly, they only take cash and the food is average. Dune Deck across the street has better food and a better view. The French toast is their specialty, hash browns and fresh squeezed juice is good too.

Tried this place only once for breakfast. Went with 3 friends on a Sunday morning. It was busy and we waited in a long line outside, but it went by fairly quickly. They offered us some treats including chocolate covered strawberries as we waited in line. Service was pretty good and fast. I ordered the cinnamon almond french toast which I read in some Unilocal reviews was very good and was recommended. I was sold. I also asked for the fruit cup. I enjoyed the fruit cup despite other reviews saying it wasn’t very good and was out of a can. The almond french toast to me was just alright… It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t anything special. I definitely would not order it again. I kind of wished I asked for the I think it was a bacon and egg croissant instead. Later I asked one of my friends what she thought of her meal, she ordered just the regular french toast and she also said it was«just okay». I DIDN’T hear anyone at our table say«mmmm this is so good» about anything. When our bill came, we asked the server if she could split the check and she said annoyed«you should have told me this earlier!» so we kind of just said never-mind, we’ll figure it out. When we went to pay though, the lady at the register kindly split our checks for us. The following weekend my boyfriend and I wanted to get breakfast. I thought of trying this place again as its so close to his house, but I said we better not bcuz my boyfriend is very picky about food and service so we went to denny’s and I hate to say this but I enjoyed my food more there. I would give John G’s another try, but just not order french toast. Oh and bring cash only and ask to split the bill in the beginning, lol.

If you are looking for large portions of food, then this place won’t disappoint. My only complaints are the lack of turkey products(all they have is pork), the hash-browns were a little oily and our waitress brought the wrong drink to my boyfriend. Other than this, the food tasted great. My stomach is not used to real bacon so that was a little greasy for me, but still tasted amazing! I definitely recommend the multigrain bread for toast. It tastes fresh out of the bakery! Sautéed mushrooms are always a treat.

Went here for breakfast last Friday with my girlfriend. I had been looking up multiple reviews to find the best breakfast spot in palm beach. With John g’s consistently ranking as one of the best reviewed restaurants around. So we decided to give it a try. We would not be disappointed with our choice. Having a great meal and service. I had the cinnamon nut pecan covered French toast!!!(which is a big reason why we decided to go in the first place). And my girlfriend had the corn beef hash, which she enjoyed until her last bite. We also were given a small orange juice each, which was complimentary with our meal. The restaurant itself is very homey, with the décor and staff making you feel very welcomed there. It is where you can take a break from your day and enjoy some good company and food. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a new place to eat a great breakfast! P. s. — this restaurant only accepts cash. No plastic allowed.

A must stop for delicious food every time. The Greek omelette and whole grain bread is always good. Hubby loves the crispy on the outside, tasty corned beef and poached eggs. No credit cards accepted but they have an atm on site. A landmark in the area. Be prepared to wait an hour on Sunday mornings during season, but a friendly staff and guests makes for easy conversation and an enjoyable experience.

Great restaurant, great location, great atmosphere. Went for lunch today and everything was right. Service was superior. Ordered New England clam chowder served in covered crock with a hush puppy and crackers. The chowder was hot, creamy and delicious with an ample amount of clam and small potato chunks. My husband had a tomato vegetable soup also came in a crock that was very good. Out daughter had a turkey club which she said was the best around. Fresh turkey not processed it was moist and yummy. Finally we shared a two handed mushroom burger. Fresh ground beef(not a pre made frozen patty) and sautéed mushrooms topped with lettuce, tomato and onions along with steak fries was a perfect lunch. Nothing to complain about! I save 5stars for unusually exceptional but this was a strong 4 star lunch and great. We will be back.

Sunday brunch with my girl. The wait was 20 minutes. I guess that’s normal since Benny’s on the beach was an 1.5 hr wait. The place is in a great area. Lot of old folks. We missed brunch by 20 minutes. We both ordered soups: chicken noodle and clam chowder. Both soups were PERFECT. I ordered fish and chips, which they are famous for. They were decent, nothing spectacular. Missy ordered the burger sliders. It was average at best. The chili that came with her meal had elastic cheese on it, very discerning. I don’t understand the hype about this place. I guess it’s been around 4 decades. I can’t fully judge this location since I didn’t order brunch, they stop serving brunch at noon on a Sunday, completely ridiculous. The service was pleasant, she forgot our drinks till I had to remind her. The place was hectic When I come back i will rerate this location when I actually get brunch
