My favorite pizzeria in Manalapan by all means the staff is wonderful and not just that very welcoming. The pizza is honestly amazing and I can just loved the food. Sal is the best my kids love him, always so energetic and enthusiastic. Him and his partner make the best pizza in mpan. I suggest you go there is all about villa

This place went down hill it doesn’t even deserve one star! What the hell guys? Who makes your pizza? Is the guy wasted every time? Every time I get a pie it lookalike the sauce and mozzarella was just plopped on! There was so much sauce and cheese it fell off the slice when I picked it up! The heavens for Mollino’s! Your pizzeria USED to be good.

The smells alone are worth the trip! Incredible food, wonderful service — a perfect pizza shop! Tons of variety and all delicious(I tasted 3 or 4 different items — all sublime!). We had some leftovers, so I can also vouch for the quality of the leftovers — fantastic taste! The slices are divine, the Sicilians have the perfect texture — and the sauce! Wow! My brother-in-law has been coming here for years and they’ve been consistently excellent. I can’t wait for our next visit!

This is the best place to get pizza!!! Everything is delicious! Tried from different pizza places in the area, this by far is the best in my opinion!

I have never eaten in the restaurant do I cannot comments on the staff. We order from here one day a week and we love the food. I am completely shocked at all of the bad reviews on here. It is always fresh and delicious and the bread is amazing. Real Brooklyn bread. I have tried several pizzerias in the area and this is the best in town. We love villabate!

This is the best pizzeria in town and possibly the United States. Grandma slice and Eggplant Slice remain two of the best slices of pizza I have ever had. The sauce here is delicious. The cheese is fresh and thinly sliced. The dough is heaven. This is pizza. This is life. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a Thot.

Great pizza, nice staff. The place is a little dated and dirty but the food is super good yet this place is pricy

This was one of the worst pizzerias I have ever been to in my life. The experience was miserable from the second we walked in until we left. I bought a groupon which was the only reason I tried this place. The food was downright terrible, the staff was unfriendly, unhelpful and rude, and I will never be attending again. It wasn’t even worth the 15 bucks I paid on groupon. If you are looking for a good pizza spot in the area, try Sals gourmet pizza on route 9 in manalapan. The food is great and the staff is wonderful.

A typical Italian restaurant. We used a coupon and got a good deal. The Sicilian pie was very skimpy on the cheese. Don’t know if that was because we used a coupon or that’s how their pies usually are. There was a lot of sauce and not much cheese. Everything was passable.

Did not think food lived up to the reviews– don’t know who is writing them. Tried it once, will not return.

With the vast landscape of Italian restaurants and pizza joints in Central Jersey, Villabate finds itself in the middle of my pack. My family most recently went to Villabate for dinner on Saturday night and had an overall had a pretty good meal and a good time. Unlike most nights my family has been there, the backroom was crowded with a large party. They were still seating individual groups however at the time of our arrival there weren’t any tables available so we decided to eat in the front room. Our table wobbled and there was a lack of ambiance however that’s not why we went there– we were all about the food. Each member of my party went with the soup, salad and a veal dish. The salad was a hearty spring mix, with cucumber, pepper, olives, tomatoes, and of course their rich and tangy vinaigrette. It’s nice to have a house salad with substantive vegetables rather than an iceberg lettuce with a single tomato. We all ordered a round of the Pasta e fagioli for a reason. It was a rich and contained an abundance of beans, pasta and flavor. The broth was on the thicker side and the whole bowl was very hearty. The soup and salad portions were so large that I probably could have just wrapped up my main dish at this point, but I had to try some while it was still hot. I went with the Veal Saltimbocca, my husband had the Veal Cacciatore and my parents both went with the Veal Parm. After sampling all of the dishes, I think my favorite was the veal parm. It just met every standard of a good veal parm dish and then some. My veal saltimbocca was pretty good too, although the eggplant seemed out of season and the ham didn’t really mesh flavor wise. A side of pasta was served on the same plate as each veal dish and was pretty much your basic pasta in sauce. Since we had both soup and salad, we passed on the dessert and closed our meal with coffee and tea. My coffee was fine although the rest of the group thought their tea was on the cold side. The service was a little below average. We had to track down our waitress multiple times for simple requests like a clean fork, non-house salad dressing and bread. She seemed to have gone missing for quite some time and not to the main dining room with other customers. It took us a while to get the check causing us to be late to our post-dinner plans. The food was good but with similar restaurants in just about every shopping center in town, you really need the whole package to standout. With that being said, I’ll certainly return knowing I’ll have a good dinner however Villabate just isn’t topping my list.

This has got to have been the WORST restaurant experience I have ever had! I’m not the one to write reviews but i was so upset when i left i just couldn’t bring myself not to. waitress was rude and didn’t know what the hell she was doing, pizzeria wasn’t busy at all and they ran out of forks and dish’s! waited 2 hours for pizza and they got one pie wrong so we had to wait even longer for the right one !(mind you i have 3 starving children going nutz) the owner never apologized instead he got nasty when i questioned the bill can the menu says the pies are 11 each so i thought they were small pies but he charged 19 each… only went there due to their groupon out and i will never EVER step foot in their again and make sure everyone i know doesn’t as well!
