Lunch was delightful! Salad fresh, nice portions and nice waitresses! We enjoyed the meal and we were left alone to talk with our nieces. A nice experience !

Talk about a techiyas hamesim/resurrection from the dead! This used to be Levy’s, which was simply awful and dreadful. Now, it’s a thriving, delicious spot, clean, pleasant, and a great place to eat in the Manalapan/Marlboro area. Everything is cholov yisroel under strict Star K supervision, and the food is something to write home about! It’s a pretty restaurant, and I am crazy about the eggplant parmigiana sliders! What an insanely delicious concept: fried eggplant parmigiana on garlic knot rolls! The mozzarella basket is another favorite. I first had this uniquely kosher milchig restaurant dish at Noi Due in Manhattan. It’s a seemingly odd combination, fried mozzarella and vegetables in an Asian teriyaki sauce, but it works, and the version here is significantly cheaper than the one at Noi Due. It’s a great draw to this area, which also has a great Kosher Chinese place in Summerton Plaza. The deli didn’t seem to be able to keep their kosher supervision, but Capri is a fixture of the frum community here, and I plan on coming back many times. It’s a lot of fun to ogle the super-religious couples who escape from Lakewood to eat here, in all their awkwardness.

Under new management this restaurant has been resurrected from the dead. The owner and staff are nice and professional. I had been frequenting the old establishment, Levy’s, since it opened but it unfortunately diminished in quality and service over time. Capri is everything the old place wasn’t. Quiet and clean, with a facelift. Dining area has white tablecloths and nice water glasses, much more classy appearance than the average«pizzeria». The menu has been updated and they now offer sushi again and it is the best kosher sushi around IMO. They have also updated the recipe for the pizza, including crust and sauce and I’ve gotta say it’s head and shoulders better. Great for lunch and dinner, and they advertise for catering as well. Definite go-to for kosher Italian and sushi in the Monmouth county area.

We’ve enjoyed Capri three times recently. The restaurant’s website is . There’s lots of delicious food on their extensive menu. They serve Italian, some American food, and there is fresh Sushi. The portions are enormous, and the staff is very friendly. It’s pretty easy to eat well for less than $ 20 per person. Highly recommended.
