Love, love, LOVE this resturant, had an amazing waiter named Lance. The best customer service by far. Very attentive, great customer service, and he actually made me laugh! Gotta love the queso, their margaritas, and their fajitas. I have really nothing negative to say about Don Pablos. Just really a really great experience every time.

Chimichurri steak tacos were horrible and greasy! They had so much grease in them I was able to pour it out onto another plate. Yuck! The swirlirita was awesome!

So after going to ESS(Elite Shooting Sports) my friend & I decided to stop here to get a bite to eat. When we first walk in we are greated with the alluring Aroma of Fresh Tortillas. We are quickly seated and chips + salsa are brought out. We place our drink orders & browse the menu, we wait a little while for the waiter who seems like a pretty cool guy. When he arrives with our margaritas we get queso as an appetizer & order our meals. The queso & margaritas are exquisite, but we finish them along with our salsa + chips and waiiit on our main dish. Finally they come out with the entrée(fajitas, and fajitas take a while to make i understand). We quickly start running low on drinks & tortillas so i order more, yet again we finish our drinks and the tortillas and have to wait for more. My conclusion is that they were unfortunately understaffed, saw my waiter running between tables, it wasn’t his fault, it was his managers. The food & drinks were great along with the ambiance, just need to improve staffing. Definitely coming back.

Had coupons so decided to have a quite lunch. We were seated very quickly and the waitress was fab! Chips were a tiny bit stale but the salsa has nice amount of heat. We got the nachos which ended up being a great sized portion for such a good price. I ordered a large platter with a variety of enchilada, taquitos, tacos and burrito. I got the beans, rice and a tamale. The tamale was very salty and the taquitos seemed like the were precooked and warmed up right before the meal. We stayed for dessert and got the sopaillas which is my favorite dessert to have at Mexican restaurants. These were good sized but a bit flat a greasy. Overall decent food for a decent price!

My first dinner here is pretty awesome.. Even the vegetarian items were also very nice… the tortilla chips are nice but the avocado can be a bit better

Yikes! We were visiting the area and looking for a place for dinner. I remembered the name of the chain from years ago and decided to try it for dinner. The décor was vintage 1990’s. The menu was pretty basic. Service was slow and not too attentive. Then there is the food. The nacho chips were thin and tasteless. The salsa had a little bite to it, but did not seem freshly made. I have to admit that the quesadilla appetizer was ok, with a lot of flavor. Then there was my entrée. I ordered the enchiladas. I received a plate covered by green slime. I assume it was supposed to be salsa verde mixed with cheese. When I finally found the enchiladas and tried to eat them, I wish I hadn’t. The tortillas were thin and dry. The chicken was slimy. I had better enchiladas from frozen, microwavable dinners. Its food gives Mexican restaurants a bad name — you can find better, more authentic Mexican food at many places.

My wife and I love this place. It’s surprising there are some really bad reviews, but everytime we come the service and the food is really great. Our most recent visit was a Saturday, 22 August 2015 around 7pm. I forgot our Waitress’s name, but she was amazing. She asked if we needed more salsa, and I said«Sure!» and she asked if I wanted to try the hotter salsa, so I replied I’d love to. She brought out the hotter one and the normal salsa and when handing the hotter over, she made a comment that it’s «Macho Salsa» and playfully said if I couldn’t handle it, then it was alright. Yeah? Oh YEAH? I ACCEPTEDTHATCHALLENGE, haha. That Salsa was GOOD. Spicy, but definitely not overbearing. It was GOOD though and I’ll probably ask for that a long with the normal salsa in the future. But anyway, the waitress was great with our son, too. Sometimes people get awkward around toddlers or babies but she didn’t. She was talkative and playful with him. The food was GOOD. I don’t really like the chicken enchiladas. I feel like their chicken can definitely be approved upon, and for THAT reason it’ll get a FOUR. But the tacos, and other enchiladas were really, really good. Definitely coming back.

LOVELOVELOVE it here! The servers and bartenders are so friendly and inviting! The chicken fajitas are amazing, I definitely recommend getting them with a side of Spoon Bread, so yummy! The drinks were great too! They had a bunch of different tequila brands to choose from(because Lord knows us ladies need our Friday evening pick-me-up, am I right?) The manager(I think her name was Stanya) even came over to make sure I was enjoying my meal and when I told her how much I was enjoying my visit, she brought me a complimentary order of chips and salsa to take home to my family! So sweet! I was very very impressed by this Don Pablos location, I will definitely be returning in the near future! Keep up the good work!

Do not come here unless you have 3 hours to get your food. Worst service I have ever had. 30 minutes just to get our drinks. And the place was empty.

We have been regulars at this location. Our experience has always been hit or miss. We noticed a change a couple months ago, and have had nothing but fantastic experiences since then. Tonight has capped it off. We were waited on by Justin. He has been attentive without being overwhelming and extremely friendly. We had an issue with our drinks that was immediately corrected by Justin and an extra special thanks to Patrick for stepping down from his managerial duties to re-mix them himself! These two, along with several other of the staff have reinforced our love of this restaurant and our commitment to coming back regularly.

delicioso… great food and very casual, good place to take the kids. They actually had a pretty extensive kids menu, which was nice. and they loved it. Fish tacos were great, and the carnitas were especially tasty. House-made tortillas were outstanding. With the tacos came this limey tasting vinigarette which would make a shoe taste good… great experience and will be back.

Stopped in for Dinner while visiting Manassas. Absolutely Horrendous !!! As soon as we walked in we noticed several tables that were not cleaned after people left. My wife was served a margarita that literally had lipstick all over the glass. Both plates on the table were dirty. One even had a liquid on it. The floor looked like it wasnt swept in weeks. This was especially true in the servers station. The bathroom was so nasty I had to walk out. A giant puddle was on the floor. The sink was covered in dirt and soap scum. Clearly this restaurant does not care about sanitation or customer satisfaction. Can only imagine what goes on in the back, if this is what the front looks like. We also took pictures to prove to anybody who disputes it. We left.

Ate here today for a luncheon, and it’s really not too bad! The chips and salsa dip were nice, the chips were a bit extra crunchy, and the salsa had a nice kick, certainly nothing bland, and it did not taste out of a bottle. It was a nice start. I ordered the fajita burrito(for lunch) with steak, and it did not disappoint. The steak was tender and had good flavor, it had nice amount of peppers and black beans, and the rice, while it could have been a bit more flavorful, wasn’t all that bad. Overall I enjoyed my meal there, and was definitely full. The queso sauce on top of the burrito was very good(the pico de gallo is extremely spicy). Oh, and the corn meal they had reminded me of a Chi-Chi’s time. That was really good. Very easy to want more of that. Drinks however are very expensive, so I think next time I will just stick with ordering a water. Oh, and we had sopapillas for dessert. Those weren’t bad, just a little too heavy on the caramel. I’d go back here and order the exact same thing, because it really was worth what I paid for, and I recommend.

I usually like this place, but it was a train wreck tonight. Started with the server giving our kids spoiled milk. Our daughter took a sip and spit it out. Then the food took forever. Ordered two fajitas. One came out sizzling and the other didn’t. Shocker, one of them was cold and onions weren’t cooked. On the way out our kids stop to see the dough being made. Lady almost hit our son in the forehead with hot dough press. Good thing I was with him. I won’t be back anytime soon.

This place is okay for a chain for Mexican food. I much prefer more authentic Mexican. The chips and fresh tortillas were very good. We had them with the queso dip. We were seated right away by a very friendly lady. The server was pretty good. The manager did come over half way through our meal since the busboy broke some glass. It was very nice to check on us to make sure we were doing okay. Really great customer service, just wish the food was more authentic.

A friend wanted to try Don Pablo’s and invited me along. I had been once before and I was not impressed with the meal I received so I decided that I would give them one more chance. Today I ordered the lunch Fajitas. They were the special of the day. I got the combo fajitas(chicken and steak). I ate all of the meat, the refried beans and 1 tortilla. I left the fixings and the onions and peppers. By the time I got home, which I live less than 3 miles away, my stomach was in knots. I have gone to the restroom 3 times in the past 2 hours that I have been home. I will NEVER eat here again.

I love this chain but not this location. Everything looks filthy. We usually sit at the bar because its cleaner than the rest of this place. Love the food but do not trust it to be clean anymore. Figured margaritas are safe bet.

We came here Monday night to eat something before catching a movie. It took about 5 minutes for someone to come to the door and to seat us. A girl came to the door, she looked like the manager, or maybe as those hourly managers that walks around and does nothing(because that’s exactly what she was doing). Jose our server did not seem happy to be there. Said maybe 15 words to us. We ordered empanadas and they obviously tasted frozen and were rock hard. We then got our meals and I had ordered the Plato fresco, never got it. The bill came back and I was charged for it so I told Jose. He says«well why didn’t you tell me?» And I wanted to say«why didn’t you notice that I didn’t get it?» It took 10 minutes just to get our change back. In other words, from the beginning our standards were lowered but it just got worse as the experience went on. Sticking to uncle Julio’s…
