What an adorable little salon, who would have known that all the way down in Woodbridge is a salon that services a cheese and fruit plate with wine for any service. Came here for a spa pedicure, they really take their time to make the customers feel relaxed, being my first pedicure of the year I am extremely thrilled to have found this place. Amazing gel colour selection, they are nicely presented in binders. Manicure stations are totally separate from pedicures. Waxing and massage are in the back and the hair salon is totally separate as well. I’m a person of neutral colours which they had plenty of greys, blues and blacks. It was great to see a mix of women and men at the spa as well, but maybe their wives just dragged them there for vday who knows . Friendly staff, lovely environment, great service. Fair prices for the quality. Me and two of my friends came here on the day before Valentine’s Day on a whim but were tended to quickly and had a great time we will never forget.

I have contemplated writing a negative review. I have been getting pedicures here for the last year. I moved to the area and found it easier to go here rather than my regular salon I went to for years. Last week I had surgery on my toe. What first started out as an ingrown toenail which the medical doctor said the nail has not been cut correctly and became ingrown, to a bone infection found when they doctor sent me for an MRI. I had to have emergency surgery. I asked what could cause this and they said un sanitary instruments to a cut by cutting the cuticle wrong. Something else that was stated, the basin you put your feet in is very un-sanitary if not cleaned properly. Because the infection is bad, I am hoping that surgery has helped and I am out of danger of losing my toe. Ladies and gentleman, this can happen at any salon you go to. But mine happened here.

So I noticed that there had been a lot of turnover in staff at this nail salon and a lot of reviewers said they were getting cuts, unwelcome services, etc. I decided to go elsewhere. While I have never experienced anything less than pleasant the reviews in the past few months have not been very nice.

Escape was a huge and very lovely salon. I went there recently with a bridal party and they were able to accommodate 8 of us without blinking an eye for manicures, pedicures, and a variety or waxing services. Quick and quality. Everyone was very pleased with all their services. A huge selection of polishes and colors. I will definitely return next time I am in town.

Good hair can make or break your day and when you want a stylist that can make your hair shine both leaving the salon, at home and even a month after come to Ann. I am always amazed at how she listens to what you want and brings it to life. She will also be honest — she has scissors not a magic wand and won’t promise what can’t be delivered. THEBEST. The salon is also well kept, more polish than you could use on your hands and toes in year and oh yes, wine and cheese can be enjoyed with your service. Other salons do not compare. One happy long time customer.

THISUPDATEDREVIEWISFORTHEMANI/PEDI SIDEOFTHESALONONLY!!! MYHAIRSTYLISTATTHISSALONISEXEMPLARY! On 12/11, my birthday, my friend and I treated ourselves to a mani/pedi. My technician was nice, although a bit abrupt. She escorted me to the pedicure chair and quickly began the service. She did not explain what she was going to do, nor did I receive any instruction over the phone during the booking or the confirmation call. I don’t blame the technician for what happened next, I blame the management for improper customer service training and I expect more from a high-end salon. The salt scrub was excruciatingly painful. And it was applied aggressively. My legs were absolutely on fire at the end of the service. Instead of enjoying this, I felt I had been tortured on my birthday. Then the bill…110.00. I would have chalked it up as a bad experience and I did. When I got home, my legs from the knee down were scraped, raw, and terribly swollen… like 9 months pregnant swollen. They were hot to the touch and my cotton pants even hurt touching them. I could not wear any shoes except shoes from late in my last pregnancy. Luckily, I have good healthcare and received steroids, prescription diuretics, and prescription Benadryl. Despite these interventions, on Saturday, while I tried to get ready for a Christmas party, I noticed that my face… and entire body was swollen. My boots were so tight that my ankle bruised from the swelling. As of this evening, 4 days after the service, the swelling is down, but I can’t shave my legs and they are covered in dry scabs. I do not recommend this salon for nails. Training and language barriers are a real issue. I will never get another nail service here and I want my money back.

I was gonna wait till I got home to write this review but I couldn’t wait because I’m so mad about my experience. My friends raved about this place and said it cost a «little extra» for better service than other places so I wanted to check it out. We got there and we picked out a color from their extensive nail color collection. It’s every indecisive persons worst nightmare. We got our colors and they seated us. We were asked what we wanted and luckily they had wine. Everything was going well… and then my cousin was done with her pedi. She was upset because the nail lady didn’t cut her toe nails. And she also left polish on her skin, so it was sloppy. After I was done with my pedi, I asked her for a design on it and she did a «flower» however, it looks like art scribbled on there by a 3 year old. I don’t know what the hell its supposed to be. Onto my manicure, I’m not a big fan of manicures because I do a fabulous job myself, but since I didn’t have my supplies, I had no choice. I did white nails… all was going well… And I look at them today and it is by far the worst manicure I have ever received. I mean I’m pretty sure my cats could have done a better job. I paid $ 72 including tip which is way too much for a shitty job to be done.

This review is only for the lash service. First I called and asked them for a price range for a refill on mink eye lashes. She said they couldn’t even give me an estimate except it could be anywhere from $ 50-$ 200. I arrived and specifically asked if they did a one to one lash ratio because I didn’t want it to appear clumpy. She assured me they did and used long mink lashes. After she was finished, they looked worse than when she started. I figured I would pay and just not return. Then today, 4 days after getting them on, they started coming off in large clumps, taking my real lashes with them. I’m not even going to call and complain because there is nothing they can do. The lashes aren’t mink, and she doesn’t put them on individually but instead in clumps, leaving your lashes very fake looking. Wouldn’t recommend this service to anyone!!!

This place is just wonderful. My husband bought me a spa package for the holidays, and I wasn’t sure what this place was going to be like. Its hard to find a nice spa — but I went anyway. My massage therapist was wonderful, my facial was amazing, they gave me wine with my pedicure(did not see that coming, and that will bring me back for sure) overall i really loved my experience at Escape, and I will be back!
