I recently traveled to the Manassas, VA location at 9695 Liberia Ave Manassas, VA20111 for dinner with my family on Friday June 17th, 2016. This comment is not a complaint, but rather a praise for the staff of this particular Longhorn. My child somehow took my cellphone and stuck it down a small crack in the back of our booth. It was a section of the booth that was screwed to the wall and the phone looked like it was not coming out. The manager at the time was Jacklyn(SIC) and she was very accommodating and attempted to help us get it out multiple times. She tried everything she could to get it out. It was unsuccessful, but Jacklyn assured us that she would try to call maintenance and have it out by Sunday morning. We returned on Sunday and unfortunately they were unable to get it out. We spoke with Paula the GM and she stated to us that they were still trying and she would call us back later with an update. On Monday Paula called us to tell us that they were going to have the maintenance guy come out on Tuesday morning and fix it. A few hours later she called my wife and said that they had the phone! They got it out themselves after trying over and over again. I never write reviews or contact companies, but this propelled me to do so. They went above and beyond to help a customer out that they did not know simply because they were taking care of a customer. I think this should be rewarded or at least they should be given kudos. So once again I want to so thank you so much to Jacklyn and Paula!

Customer service is non existent. We have been going to Long Horn about once a month with my daughter and her family. It used to be ok but in the last six months customer service has degraded. We had decided not to go back but last Friday decided to give it a last chance. We arrived and put our name on the list and were told it would be about five minutes. We were the only ones waiting so it should have been quick. After 10 minutes a couple came in an were seated immediately. A few minutes later a group of three came in and were seated immediately. About another minute and a group of four came in and were seated right away. I was not happy. Finally we were seated and I asked the girl why did they seat all the other people that came in after we did and it took us over twenty minutes to be seated? Her reply was that because there were five in our group they were seating the smaller groups. I then asked to speak to the manager. The manager apologized and said that is their policy. Why then telling us it will be a five minutes wait and it was 25 minutes later when we finally got a table. There were plenty of empty tables for us to be seated within five minutes but it did not happened. We will not go back to LongHorn again.

I ordered the filet and hubby ordered the flat iron steak. His steak was undercooked first and when they brought it back after attempting to cook it some more t was too chewy. The server and manager were very accommodating and replaced the flat iron with a filet and comped it. The filets were very good.

Customer service here stinks! Employees have no knowledge of what is available at the bar. Will never go here again. Go to Sweetwater in Centreville instead.

This is my favorite place to go for Date Night with my Husband. We enjoy coming here as a family with the kids as well. I have a very hard time finding a place that actually follows thru with my request for an EXTRAWELLDONE steak everywhere but here. The chefs here actually listen :-) the waiters are always nice and good at keeping our drinks filled. Prices aren’t bad for a steak house. Atmosphere is always clean though sometimes quite noisy but still enjoyable.

Not that busy for a Saturday night and still took over an hour to get our food. No thanks!

Way better steaks. Then outback . Hands down. The bars great. Great folks. Longhorn really takes pride in the steaks I think they deserve one of the best fillet mignon’s in the area

Dinner for 2 = LongHorn’s porterhouse for 2. Knowing that a larger Steak being cooked to well done is going to take a little longer, my husband and I settled in for a nice time of catching up on the events of the day. Our server, Zoe, was phenomenal and kept us supplied with beverages. The Steak arrived and was clearly not well-done status. Zoe apologized and took it back. It was returned and devoured! The manager took some off our check and included dessert! We were very pleased with the quality of the service! Job well done!(Suggestion: cook the larger cuts a little longer at a lower temp… and avoid charring the edges!)

I am usually very leery of ordering«to-go» having worked in the restaurant business before. .and this exact reason is why! I placed my order online, with relative ease. Sent the hubby to pick up the order and it was ready at the pre-determined time. Good so far… until we got it home and opened the bag. I ordered the smallest sirlion, well done; Baked potatoes with butter, sour cream, & cheese; mixed green salad with ranch dressing. The best thing was the salad! I opened the box to the dryest, coldest steak & potato known to man. Given the plastic cutlery, I had to switch to a regular steak knife. Even my husband had trouble cutting through the steak. The potato was so cold the cheese wouldn’t melt. Ended up having to re-warm everything & that just made it worse. Such a disappointment & a reminder as to why I never order take-out. The quality really suffers.

I am super annoyed. While the menu looks so appealing and its close to my work. The to go service sucks so bad. I legit ordered to go twice, The first time the food was cold and the bartender is just rude. I hate dealing with him. My food was terrible quality. The second time I ordered I decided to give them a second chance. I ordered on 3.31.16 and I ordered a freaking baked potato and those stupid pretzels. The bake potato was whatever they mixed the butter and sour cream and cheese all into one container. While I admire the attempt to help the environment I didn’t ask. And the pretzels I ordered were soaked in oil tasted like a dessert like French toast sticks from the freezer. what the heck. And the same bartender was there and guess what he still was un pleasant.

I ate there for Valentine’s Day the wait a bit(it was Valentine’s Day) long but well worth it. We had a great waiter Ty. Very fresh salad(great) awesome steak and bake potatoes. Prices are very reasonable. I can’t wait to go back maybe for Mother’s Day if not sooner.

I came here for my mom’s birthday after being snowed in by the blizzard and me, my mom and a few guests were excited to try out longhorn steakhouse for the first time. Our waiter didn’t even introduce himself and was extremely rude. My mom asked for a recommendation for a drink and he couldn’t give one. REALLY?! Not even a popular drink by customer demand or something? It was mission impossible to ask him for anything and he messed up so many requests and it was t even busy. He refilled my friends sweet tea cup with water when he didn’t even order water. I had to ask him several times for a refill. The list goes on and on. He seemed like he did not want to be there and he made my mom pretty upset. The food itself was ok, nothing to write home about. The service was one of the worst I ever had. Even when the bill came he kept changing the total and adding and deleting items for some reason. Very unprofessional and this is the first and last time I’ll ever go to a longhorn steakhouse.

Ordered takeout online. We ordered lunch combos chicken flatbread and shrimp soup. Soup was old shrimp were very hard. I was frustrated they did not provide utensils. They add chips next to your sandwich and barely put 4 chips with bacon.

Decided to go here on a Saturday night and there was no wait, which is good and bad. I ordered a Caesar salad, which was pretty bland and not flavorful. The Sweet Potato with the Cinnamon Sugar and Butter was the highlight of the meal! The steak was cooked Medium, but was completely dry and overcooked by the time it came to my table. I ate the bites, that were like eating pieces of rubber tires. The waiter was also annoying, he constantly would take plates that I WASSTILLEATINGOFFOF! I like Longhorn Steakhouse, but I will never come to this location again. Go to the Red Robin next door and get a way better meal.

Typically I prefer to buy my steaks at Costco and grill them at home because I think I can make them better than any restaurant. My wife would not agree to a dinner at home for our anniversary so out for dinner we went. We had no wait at 7 pm on a Monday although they were pretty busy. We received great service from Matthew D. He was very personable, created just the right amount of conversation, and was attentive without being overbearing. The draft beer selection is a little underwhelming. 5 taps with one dedicated to a local craft brew. Last night was Old Bust Head English Ale. We had the small plate serving of jalapeño popper shooters and spicy chicken bites for appetizers. The poppers are your typical fried popper you can get anywhere but they are presented with each one in a shot glass with a lime-avocado dressing in the bottom of the glass. The dressing was very good and I liked dipping the poppers in it but I disliked that the poppers were plopped into the dressing and became a little mushy if you did not eat it right away. I suggest leaving the cutesy serving method aside and just serve the poppers on a plate with the dressing as a side. The spicy ginger chili sauce on the chicken bites was outstanding. I wish I could have this as a sauce option at Glory Days for their chicken wings. It was delicious!!! I had the regular 11 oz ribeye for dinner and my wife had a flat iron steak. My ribeye was perfectly cooked rare and my wife’s flat iron steak was perfectly cooked medium. The quality of the steaks was very good too. I was a little disappointed in the seasoning on the steak. A ribeye has plenty of fat so adding herbed butter on top of the steak adds too much grease and detracts from the steak flavor. I did not taste any other seasoining other than the butter. My wife’s flat iron steak was a little drab on the seasoning side too. Luckily, I saved the little dish of the spicy chili sauce from the appetizers and used it as a dipping sauce for the steak. We both had garden salad and loaded fries as sides and they were good. The chili on the fries tasted a bit like canned chili so I would just get cheese, bacon, and jalapenos next time. I still think I can make a better steak at home but with the service provided by Matthew D. and the fact we did not have to cook or clean made this an enjoyable visit. We will definitely return but I will probably go with pork chops or some other specialty dish besides the steak.

We had out of town relatives. We just returned from a long drive from the beach and wanted to get an easy dinner. After reading the reviews, I wondered what to expect from Longhorn. We called ahead for a table for 5. When we arrived,(around 6pm), we saw about 10 people waiting for tables. We were seated right away! Once we were seated, Kendra, our server was right there getting our drink orders. We got our drinks pretty fast. We then ordered the fried onion appetizer which was really good. Kendra(great server!) took our entrée orders, and, after an appropriate amount of time, they arrived. I ordered the salmon. I hate to say it, but my salmon was dry. I wish I had some sauce for it. My dinner companions had the rib eye and they said it was good. Another had the filet which was very good. Aside for my dry salmon, our experience at Longhorn was good. Kendra was awesome! She was a great server.

Not being a red meat eater, one might wonder why I went here. Simply put, my daughter wanted their hand breaded chicken strips. Hence we went. I will say her meal looked way better than mine. I had the raspberry balsamic chicken with gat cheese crumbles. It was tasty but not sure this was a good combo for my taste buds. Our waitress was awesome with drink refills and I must add they have many flavored teas and lemonades. Overall, I was okay with it. Our waitress was fantastic!

James got back into town from Carolina and wanted a steak so we went here. I had the prime rib, he had the sirloin, We were both pleased with the quality and cut of the meat. I had the broccoli as a side, it had very little flavor or taste. We each had a backed potato which we agreed was OK as well. The service by Molly was a little spotty even though it was a slow Tuesday evening. She seemed distracted by another customer. Over all just an OK experience.
