The best!!! Love everything they serve here. It does take a while to get your food but it is worth the wait.

Amazing food! We had the pleasure of living in Bahrain about 20 years ago, and Petra Grill takes us right back! Delicious Shawarma, hummus and baba ganoush! Everything we have tried has been great! Fabulous Service!

Great place to stop in for a gyro, kabobs or other other Mediterranean specialty. Authentic ingredients and very generous servings. Very much a family business with friendly, fast service. Bottom line… the quality of the cooking is excellent, the atmosphere is nice and the price is very reasonable. It is a favorite!

Very good food at a very reasonable price. I’ve lived and traveled throughout the Middle East, including Petra itself. This is the authentic local dishes you find in Jordan and other nearby regions. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and will definitely return.

Yummy! Everything I’ve tried so far has been scrumptious — the beef kabobs, chicken kabobs and the Greek chicken salad! Prices are fair too

Incredible food, great service, and the best prices! It doesn’t get any better than that! Their portions are unreal for the price your paying, and I love that. I feel like a lot of Mediterranean places can be super stingy with the amount of food they give but this places over exceeds expectations. And can I just say, I’m so impressed with their side salad, as random as that sounds… Anyone that’s been to any kabob place every knows that your typical salad is basically lettuce, tomato, and onion with some plain a** yogurt sauce… Petra grills side salad is SO flavorful and stuffed with Mediterranean spices and tang. Love love love Petra grill and will be continue to come back here!

During our first order from this restaurant, the pita bread included with the platter meals was missing. I called the restaurant again 15 minutes after their advertised closing time and they picked up, apologized for the mistake, and delivered the bread to our house(approximately 15 minutes away) free of charge with a few extra pieces of pita. I’ve got to commend Petra’s for their great customer service. It’s not that often a business exceeds one’s expectations like that. We will definitely be returning.

Great children’s meals! The chicken tenders with fries is a generous portion and the cheese pizza(manaeesh) is great. My children are happy while I get to enjoy the chicken shawarma, baba ghanoush, garlic sauce, and hummus. Petra Grill is one of my favorite places along with PA Nuang Thai.

Great food. Tried their Petra platter and falafel sandwich, both were really good. Also the Zaatar was the best I’ve ever had. Will come back for sure.

This place is fantastic. The service & atmosphere is great, they offer free chai tea in a laid back environment. But best of all is their DELICIOUS food which I dream of daily. If only I could eat here every single day I would. The hummus & teboulah & tahini & chicken & everything, every single thing is THENOMNOMBOMB.COM

I order takeout from here very often! The food is addicting. Only thing i can ask them to improve on is phone etiquette. But even that doesnt matter very much.

I had the Hunter’s Chicken tonight instead of my usual Mixed Grill. The Hunter’s Chicken is a mixture of braised chicken breast chunks, onions, tomatoes and green beans. A huge portion of rice came on the side along with fresh hot pita. This was a really good dish like a home cooked stew. My wife had the mixed grill which is always good. She usually gets couscous instead of rice, which is my preferred side as well. Overall this is a great Mediterranean place when you’re in the mood for something different.

I had the falafel sandwich and the manaeesh it was very good. Reasonable prices and clean. I would go there again. I’m not sure about the service because I just did takeout.

We went as a group from work for lunch one day. The service definitely needs to improve, but the flavors of the food were amazing! The kabobs were very nicely spiced and they offered some sauces with heat, if you’re into that. The rice was nicely done. Hummus was perfect! Side salad was very tasty. The pita bread was cold and somewhat stale though, so enjoying the hummus was a little difficult, but the hummus tasted so nice, we got past the stale pita bread. They offer very nicely size meals. Falafel was very tasty with a soft, nicely spiced inside and a very hard shell. Only issue with the service was that we walked in and waited about 5 minutes in front of a lady making wraps who wouldn’t break away from what she was doing to take our order. Then someone else finally came out of the back to take the order. So, they definitely need to work on putting customers first and ensuring they deliver prompt service. I’m sure this will improve… hope it will at least. Overall, I look forward to going back more and more!

So glad someone told me about this place. It is just a few doors down from a Thai place I love, but I never realized this place opened since a cajun, pizza and an afghan grill have all come and gone in the same strip mall section in the last year. Petra Grill’s opening 3 months ago is a great happening for all people like me who want to eat heathier and love vegetarian food. It is owned by Palestinian folks who have had a Petra Grill at the Potomac Mills Mall for 8 years(I never knew that either since I avoid the mall). For my Saturday evening visit the place had a respectable number of people eating — in 4 groups. The server/register person/host was a well spoken, very nice young man who is the nephew of the owner and did a great job making sure the order was right and seated customers(in comfortable booths and standard food establishment tables) we were happy and had the sauces and other condiments desired. I order the traditional platter that came with hummus, baba ghanouge, tabouli, fattoush salad, falafel, grape leaf and pita($ 8.99) and my other favorite — falafel sandwich($ 5.99) which by itself filled me up and I had to take the platter home :) I had the mint hit tea to end a busy day. A friend had the chicken shawarma platter and loved it. Everything I ordered and ate there and later at home was fantastic! Being from NY City, where middle eastern food is almost as easy to get as pizza, I’ve been looking for a good middle eastern place nearby(I traveled to Burke an Fredricksburg to go to decent middle eastern place I’ve found there). I can truly say that Petra Grill is as good as they get in those places and on par with those in NY City. The food is fresh, tasty, healthy and reasonably priced. I hope more people find this hidden treasure and skip the numerous places claiming to be NY style pizza places. Middle eastern food is better for you and your pocketbook. And, it keeps well as leftovers. I will be a frequent visitor here as long as the quality and prices are good. I don’t think anyone will dislike the food here.

Simply fantastic! This lovely renovation(where the Italian restaurant used to be) serves up some of the best Lebanese food in the area! The baba ghanouj was silky smooth, the gyros were delicious, and the kebbeh were crisp and hot, even as takeout. They gave us a complimentary small hummus, which was also great. Everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned and I wish we could have tried more! Others were having manaeesh, something like flatbread pizza, and all the varieties I saw looked incredible! There is plenty of parking, outdoor seating, and a spacious dining room. I could imagine coming here both with family and also for a casual date night. Try it, you won’t be sorry!
