Prince William Cafe

Located in the hospital the location is in a prime location for visitors and workers. The food is quite good and would be in the 5star category for hospitals. I give it 3 stars because there are better food places in the immediate area and although good it did not hit the four star level in my opinion.
I would return and would recommend.

Prince William Café was a convenient place to wait during my dad’s surgery. It’s located on the first floor of Prince William Hospital.
It is a very clean and well lit area with lots of snack, food and drink options. It was early and they had the breakfast hot bar set up. Gravy, tater tots, eggs, sausage and some other miscellaneous stuff. Unfortunately it was all pretty well cooked beyond oblivion from sitting in the warmers and wasn’t very appetizing. I opted for a bagel and a small bowl of fruit.
The staff behind the counter as well as the lady in the check out line were extremely nice. There were a few hospital employees in and out as my step mother and I sat there chatting and killing time, they were all very friendly and I think every one of them smiled when they passed us.
Not a bad environment for a few overly stressed family members to occupy their time!

Visited here for lunch today — as a family member has been admitted to Prince William Medical Center.
They have a decent salad bar — a solid selection of fresh vegetables, plus a few pre-​made salads such as tuna salad. So I opted for the salad bar — went with all fresh veggies: mixed greens, grape tomatoes, red onions, pickled jalapeños, beans, and carrots, topped with some blanched green beans, and a little Caesar dressing and Balsamic dressing, plus croutons. Also had a cup of their vegetable soup. It was a broth-​based soup with nice undertones of black pepper and curry.
They offer a selection of hot entrees, sandwiches, wraps, pizza, salad bar, soups and more. I believe breakfast is also available here early in the day.
The staff were very nice and friendly. I expect I will be in here quite a bit in the coming weeks…
