Love this place. It’s small, and the atmosphere is very nice. Their lunch prices are very reasonable and the food is delicious. I love coming for an inexpensive breakfast on Saturdays or for the full Sunday brunch buffet. It’s a family owned business and the owner is very personable.

Best Valentine’s meal — lots of wonderful food for the money!!! The food is absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere is fun, the staff are very pleasant, and it is a very warm and inviting place. Don’t know what you’re missing!!! The bold roast coffee was excellent as well. You can dine in, with prompt waiter service. Every one of these offerings was just delicious. The salmon was perfectly cooked, very moist and with a wonderful spice to it and just the right dressing to complement it.

Just had a great lunch here. Stopped at this place looking for a light lunch. I ordered a crab cake sandwich without the bread. The chef actually can out with a small sample of a salad that he could put the crab cake on if I wanted. I agreed and it was a fantastic combination. It had a light vinaigrette on it with nuts and some blue cheese, very well done. He was really interested if I liked it. He even came back and gave us a sample of a gumbo soup which was also very good. I have not seen this type of customer service in a long time. Well done!!!

Great little place with good food, tentative service & even more potential on the horizon! Currently open for lunch & breakfast. Options include breakfast burritos, wraps, sandwiches & make your own salad, all available for takeout as well. ABC license is in the works, at which time they will be open for dinner. Met the owner & cook Charles, whom is English and plans to bring traditional heritage meals to the menu –including a complete Sunday roast.

I love this place for lunch. Parking in the back! The menu is short, but everything looked good! You can dine in, with prompt waiter service, or grab it to go like a lunch counter. I’ll be grabbing lunch here with colleagues much more frequently, and recommending it to people who ask for a place to eat around the courthouse. The crab cake sandwich was delicious! The atmosphere is very warm and comfortable, as well. I don’t know where the«bulldog» came from; the logo has a British flag incorporated into it but the food is strictly American, and mostly East Coast/Southern, at that. But no matter what you call it, it’s still delicious!

I am giving this a 5 Star and part of the reason is surprise. We were surprised to find an extremely posh interior for a deli, friendly service, outstanding food and an interesting owner. Tim, the owner, comes from a family of publicans in England. He ran a pub in Oxford as well. The food is made to order, fresh, creative and well cooked. The place to eat in Manassas.

We stopped for lunch on Saturday because of a Unilocal reveiw. Wow was it good. I had a blackened salmon, my husband had turkey jack bacon panning and my daughter had a crab cake. I tried everything and it was all wonderful. We live pretty far away but will be back!

I am really surprised that you can get a phenomenal crab cake sandwich for under $ 8 in a cozy, convenient location. My kids had… well, kid food(grilled cheese, etc) and were equally happy. We can’t wait until you’re open for dinner.

What a great little place! The food is absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere is fun, clean and inviting. You can get a delicious chicken breakfast burrito or a southwest omelet for breakfast, as well as other types of burritos, omelets, breakfast sandwiches and pastries. If you arrive during lunch time, test your limits with a Cajun Chicken wrap. If you’re not feeling quite so adventurous, the Chicken Caesar Wrap is a delicious and milder alternative. If you’re more of a seafood person, I highly recommend the crabcake sandwich. With fresh, never frozen crabmeat, it’s a crab lover’s delight and under $ 7. Not feeling crab today? Order a delicious Blackened Salmon Sandwich. Fresh, never frozen salmon served on a baguette slathered with fresh avacado mayonnaise. The Bulldog Bistro has quality food, friendly service and a great atmosphere. Located in Old Town Manassas, it’s the perfect location for buisness meetings, grabbing something to go, or lunch with family and friends. Go check it out! You won’t be disappointed.

Very clean and ample seating on the inside. Cute outdoor seating as well. Stopped in for breakfast during a weekday. Bagel sandwich was warm&delicious and went well with the cup(s) of coffee. The owner was very friendly and attentive; checking if I’d like more coffee. Looked to be family owned and operated, all very friendly. It’s unfortunate I don’t work near by because their lunch menu looked as equally delicious as breakfast with a variety of options. You definitely must check this place out! Go Bulldog Bistro!

For weekday lunch, we both had a salad with the Cajun salmon. The salad ordering here is a little bit complicated. There are two options for the base greens, then you choose 4 out of a long list of other vegetables, then optional ingredients like cheese, chicken, or salmon for an additional charge. Finally, choose from the 4 or so dressings offered. This is great for customization but it might be good to offer a couple preconfigured salads in addition to the build your own option. There are also a number of sandwiches on the menu which I did not try on this visit. The salad itself was excellent. The base greens were fresh and the white balsamic vinaigrette was nicely balanced with a slight sweetness. The amount of dressing for the greens was perfect. The salmon was shredded into large chunks and dispersed throughout the salad. Value is terrific for what you get. Service was great. I’ll definitely eat here again.

Wow, had an awesome custom cooked breakfast burrito. Welcome to the neighborhood Bulldog Bistro! The bold roast coffee was excellent as well. In the space that was formerly the Air Fare Bistro in Old Town Manassas. Open for breakfast & lunch, even on the weekends. I understand they will be open evenings in a week or so when they get their ABC license. They plan to serve beer & wine. Nice because they have an outside patio.

I just returned from lunch at Bulldog Bistro. I was on my way to Foster’s when I drove by to find a little person in a Bulldog suit out front waving to the passersby. Needless to say it caught my attention enough to pull in and check it out. I am glad I did. The atmosphere was casual, the prices VERY reasonable, the owners REALLY approachable and the food WASDELICIOUS.(My plate was CLEAN by the time I left) I ordered their most popular sandwich, the Grilled Cajun Chicken wrap. I really enjoyed this wrap. Not too spicy but stuffed with grilled chicken and veggies. I can see why it is so popular. The wrap came with tomatoes among other things and ehile I am not a big fan, the tomatoes added the perfect touch to the wrap. Charlie(chef and owner) came out(I dined outside and watched traffic pass by) to check on me. He explained the process for getting the sauce on the sandwich(REALLY hit the spot) and foretold of more delicious dishes to come(When you going to be serving that pulled Jerk Chicken???) This is a family owned establishment and I really enjoyed talking with everyone. They really make you feel very welcome and at ease. We talked as if we had known each other for a lot longer. Can’t wait to stop in for breakfast on my way to the office to see what Charlie is cooking up for breakfast and coffee. Bulldog Bistro… I like it. Give them a shot, you will like them too!

From the young lady running the cashier to the British chef in back, exceptionally friendly service awaits you at Bulldog Bistro. Today’s visit has left me curious for what the future will bring to these folks. The location has never been ideal for restaurants, but if these guys can hold down the fort, a lot of local businessmen will have a wonderful new(and fresh) breakfast and lunch spot. The menu is small, offering one page each of breakfast, lunch, and salad options. Lunch options include sandwiches and craw-fish mac and cheese. The salads are self created with two base options of lettuce mixes, and addons of your choice. Dressing options include a red balsamic, white balsamic, and Caesar dressing. The chef is happy to make suggestions or put together a salad of his own creation for you if you give him a basic idea of what you like. My salad came out to $ 7 and included a mix of seven lettuces, grilled chicken, carrot, onion, cucumber, feta cheese, and candied walnuts. The veggies were crisp and clean. The grilled chicken was delicious — it was moist and tender with the perfect amount of char. The to go container sealed the salad perfectly, preventing any leakage of dressing. The food is made fresh to order and wait times seem to be fairly short, about ten minutes tops. The setup is very similar to that of Airfaire Café(the previous company to occupy this location). The interior is clean, and easy to navigate. Customers need not worry about feeling underfoot if they choose to dine-in. The only point of confusion was that there did not appear to be a trash can in the dining area. Fresh fruit, muffins, candy and chips are all available for purchase at the counter. Chips are by One Potato Two Potato, and the muffins look yummy. Prices are cheap, all below $ 10. Most items were in the $ 4 to $ 6 range. It will be interesting to see if the menu changes throughout the year to account for seasonal changes(soup in the fall/winter, etc). So far, Bulldog Bistro has some fans. I know the ladies in my office will be returning to try breakfast and some of their other menu items.
