I am really not sure how Wendy’s stays in business other than guys like my husband think bad, overpriced food is good because it has bacon on it. Every time he talks me into going I am instantly sorry. What the fascination is with this fast food joint I will never know. Giving it 2 stars instead of one because I have learned that Unilocal tends to throw out 1 and 5 star reviews, but it was definitely a negative experience. Today it is cold and raining and we are out anyway running errands, so we go up to the drive through and I ask for the fish sandwich, or I guess it’s called the Premium Cod sandwich. The attendant says they don’t sell fish. Hmm, OK. Could have sworn I had it before, it’s even listed online. Oh well. My daughter and I order homestyle chicken and my husband gets the spicy chicken and it’s almost $ 28 dollars! Seriously? And because it is in the Manassas City limits, they tack on an extra tax for the upkeep of Old Town although I never notice much about Old Town worth the extra money. They should have given us $ 28 to take that crappy food home, because when we got it home, dear god, what a mess. We were charged over $ 8 for the spicy chicken but got 3 homestyle chicken sandwiches instead. And if anyone ever wanted to know if it was possible to make potato jerky, the answer is yes. The fries were so cold, dark and tough that it was just like eating greasy potato jerky sticks. And the chicken, where do I start. Dry, tough and looked like someone smashed it underfoot before putting it on that stale bun with a cup of mayo, a wilted piece of lettuce and a slightly pink item I think was supposed to be tomato. I thought it was strange that when we drove in that there were NO cars in the lot and no one inside, so I guess our food was left over from some earlier time and they just needed to get rid of it. I have given Wendy’s more than enough chances over the years. No more. None of the 3 Wendy’s in Manassas or anywhere else is worth the price they charge for the horrible products they sell.

I went to this Wendy’s last Tuesday with a friend. We were first told the only drinks were ice tea, water and lemonade. Apparently the carbonation for the drinks was out of service. Next I asked a couple of questions on the salads, like what was in them and to see the size of a half vs. a full size. The young girl rolled her eyes and went back and got the containers to show me. I ordered and then it was time for my friend. She asked about the ingredients of one of the salads and the girls response was«it has lettuce»…that was all she said. She was asked to find someone that knew and again she rolled her eyes and walked off. When she returned we told her«that we were sorry for bothering her» and we turned around and left, Terrible.terrrible service. will never return to this Wendy’s. The owner of this Wendy’s needs to be notified.

Savor the Flavor I’ve got no problem with the food at Wendy’s. You know what you’re getting, fat, grease and salt. It’s good though. But I’ll never go to another Wendy’s again. Every now and then they offer special burgers, and one time they had some sort of mushroom and bacon special; I don’t remember exactly what it was. The price was a couple of bucks more than the regular burger, but I love the mushroom burgers so I got it. There were a couple of pieces of mushrooms in there(probably from a can) and a piece of bacon about the size of a toenail. I thought to myself, this is what I’m paying an extra two bucks for. I figure that they got me. I fell for it. They advertised a sandwich to get me in the door to part with my money, and it worked. But savor the flavor because it won’t happen again. I haven’t been to a Wendy’s since.

Things never seem to go right for me at this Wendy’s. And this isn’t a new phenomenon … this goes back to over 5 years ago when this Wendy’s messed my order up 3 times in a week. A call to the restaurant led to not only no resolution, but I couldn’t even find a manager who spoke intelligible English. I complained to corporate — something that I had never done before — and received a number freebie coupons to make up for it. Ever since then, I try to avoid this Wendy’s at all costs. However, sometimes I decide I want Wendy’s on a whim and stop in, or just decide to roll the dice rather than go to the more consistent location on Liberia. On my last trip here, I ordered two rather large burgers and a large fry. The drive through attendant shoves the food into the smallest bag possible, which then sits on my front seat and takes a nose-dive to the floor when an idiot driving a Prius slams on their brakes on the way back to my house. Ever wonder why McDonald’s gives you a huge bag rolled up for just a burger and fries? Now you know why. As far as the food, it’s on par with other Wendy’s I suppose. But whenever I go here it’s a coin toss on whether my trip will be uneventful, or be one of those fast food trips where you leave shaking your head and saying«Really, how hard can it be?»

I went to team drive thru window about 1130 am and placed my order. I had to repeat my order not once but 3 times. I got to the window and yes same thing. I asked for junior cheeseburger not a bacon cheeseburger. So I get home and yes my order wrong. Won’t go back there again.

I really like this location. Nice staff ALL of the time. My orders are always accurate. The food is awesome and fresh here! I discovered how tasty the chili, salads, baked potatoes, and burgers are! Everything I’ve ordered using the coupons have been so delicious, I want it all. There is never a line in drive thru. Sure the décor is well loved, but it doesn’t take away from what the place delivers. Great customer service and food.

I used to like the fries at any Wendy’s restaurant and the Jr. Cheeseburger Deluxe. Not only does the food at this location taste terrible, it is not even value-priced. Thanks to two bad experiences in a row at this Wendy’s, I will never eat Wendy’s again and probably be the healthier for it. Yuck.

TWICE I’ve left this Wendys angry! I went through the drive through where a lady at the window who was a manager or assistant manager was rude to me! I dont want to be rude back to somebody who is handling my food so i just smiled and kept being polite to the lady. She then made me move to a parking spot to wait for my order even though there was no cars behind me. Then the staff brought me out the wrong order! FRUSTRATING!

This Wendy’s feels pretty old when you walk in. The décor, the layout, somewhat dated. I ordered«The Baconator» combo meal — with small fries and Diet Coke. Meal came up, I went to sit down, opened up the burger, and the bacon was somewhat undercooked. No way was I going to eat bacon that looked like this. So I took it back up the counter and showed the manager. He apologized and asked what I wanted. «Crispier bacon.» So they crisped it up — not sure what they did — probably microwaved it. In any case, the bacon looked fit for consumption afterward. The burger was a tad greasy — might have been from the way they cooked the bacon and had the bacon grease spread into the burger. Fries were crisp — but almost room temperature. Diet Coke was icy and refreshing. There are a couple of large flat screen HD displays mounted in the dining area for folks to watch while eating. Service was good.
