All I can say about Burger King is that now I know why this franchise is struggling financially. Its not about the food quality or the menu selection. It boils down to service and the service at this Burger King is worse than horrible. All I wanted was a chicken sandwich and fries and so I pulled in to the drive thru. I was relieved that there was only one car in front of me because I was a starvin marvin and wanted to get my food quick. The first sign of trouble was when I saw the car in front of me pay for his food and then pull over to a spot on the side which clearly meant that he was asked to wait for his food to be brought out to him. Sure enough, when it was my turn up, I paid and then was asked to pull to the side where they would bring the food out to me at some point in the next hundred years. So there I sat, looking at my watch, and around 5 minutes passes by when a Burger King lady walks out with food. I roll down my window only to watch her walk by my car and deliver the meal to the car that was in front of me. Damn. So back to waiting. Another 5 minutes ticks by and I notice an elderly couple walk into the restaurant and I’m thinking if these folks get their food before me I’m going to raise hell. So I’m eagle eyeing the couple and notice they are just standing in the restaurant waiting for someone to take their order. There was literally no one behind the registers taking orders in there! I can’t believe my eyes! Maybe they had the entire Burger King staff in the back laser focused on making my chicken sandwich and fries. Now its been about 10 minutes of waiting and I’m getting very antsy. I want my «fast» food. Another 5 minutes goes by and finally a lady walks out with my order. What part of fast food does this Burger King not understand? It took 15 minutes to get a chicken sandwich and fries and there was no line. I have to say that there used to be another Burger King in Manchester on Buckland Street that had the exact same issue and if you drive by there now you’ll see that the place is boarded up, not because of the location, or the food quality or the menu selection. Its because of the service. Even though they have great fries, this King is dead to me.
