Dear Waitress, The comment you made to your coworker as I was paying out bill of «there’s too many highchairs in here», struck me as offensive. It was the Tuesday after Christmas that my husband, my 14-month-old son and myself came into the diner. It was practically empty and the only two highchairs that I observed were my child’s and the family sitting opposite us. I want to apologize; I had no idea that our idea of treating out our families to a nice breakfast after the hectic holiday season would have such implications on you doing your waitress duties. I might remind you that neither one of our children was acting up, but you ma’am were certainly bothered by them. Whether you had known that I was the mother of one of those children that needed highchairs or not, the plain fact that that you made that comment in front of a customer is absolutely deplorable. I noticed that the isles of the diner were large enough for two highchairs to sit opposite each other WITHSPACE between them for a person to walk through, as I had done many times when my child threw something into the isle and I respectfully picked it up. You were not our waitress but I promise you, I will never burden you with our family outings again. Again, I apologize for trying to expose my child to the outside world, as we were trying to have a nice time in a quite setting after the holiday season. I wish I had the nerve to say something to you when you said it… Next time I will know better, but it will never be at IHOP, as I will not bring my family there again. I wish I glanced at your name tag and embarrassed you, but I am not like you ma’am(although you didn’t look much older than 17), I keep my ugly comments to myself in a public setting, I am trying to set a good example for the new generation, unlike you who seems only to care about maneuvering around highchairs at your place of WORK. I urge you to think next time before you open your mouth.

My first trip to an IHOP and it was fantastic. From the moment we walked in we were impressed by how clean and welcoming the restaurant was. The pancakes and eggs were honestly fluffier and fresher than many fancy brunch places that I’ve been to and the service was excellent. Karen, our waitress, was very welcoming and attentive. The manager even took the time to stop by and check on us. They clearly care about their restaurant and their food. We’re on a road trip but I was a local I’d be a regular. If we’re ever back in the area, I’ll definitely stop by.

We were traveling for 4 hours we got off the highway and chose the ihop because of the clean and bright appeal from the road! And we did not get mislead whatsoever! The establishment is SO clean and everyone is friendly! Karen is the best waitress! Kudos for amazing service and kindness! She greeted us with such cheer and was so proud of the iHop food! The food was so good! Pancakes cooked to perfection, amazingly ripe avocados and French toast full of vanilla! The manager stopped by as well, which was nice! Great visit! Great food! Go Karen!

Waited 20 mins to be seated and after 30 mins she tells us lost our order. She takes new order and does not apologize. Manager comes in and does not apologize keep on waiting to get our food. Very unprofessional and does not recommend this ihop to anyone.

I have been here multiple times since I moved to Manchester(less than a year ago). And I can say, without a doubt this is the WORSTIHOP i have ever been to. Although the hostess and the waitresses I’ve met are generally nice, that place is dysfunctional. I often have problems finding my waitress, even when it’s empty. Often times, my food is cold or ill prepared. When it’s time to pay, again, no one can be found. Everytime I go here, I say that I’ll try just once more. and everytime I go back, something goes wrong. Just this morning, I called my order in 25 minutes ahead of time. When I got there 30minutes later, my simple order of eggs, pancakes, and turkey bacon wasn’t ready. Mind you, there were maybe 5 couples total in the restaurant, and they all were eating. And except for the hostess, no waitresses could be found. I paid and waited an additional 10 – 14 minutes to finally get my food. When I saw my bag, the waitress had it in her hand. The same hostess/waitress who had my bag of food in her hand stopped to chat with a couple with whom she was familiar. I remained for several minutes while she continued her conversation. Finally, after feeling frustrated, I stood up and asked her to please give me my order so that I could leave. This place is dysfunctional. I’ve already made corporate headquarters aware(from an incident from a prior bad visit) of how unhappy I have been with my service here. I guess I’m a glutton for punishment. I love IHOP’s food and think it’s great. But the service at this local restaurant is severely lacking.

If I could give it less than 1 star I would. I waited 30 minutes which was our estimated time then I go up to inquire where we were in the wait and come to find out they either didn’t write us down or crossed us off. That set the tone for shitty service. A guest I was with asked for a regular coke and she got diet coke and then the waitress argued as if that’s going to help. We were going to talk to a manager but then decided we wouldn’t come back to this place not even for free.

The service is always great when we go on Saturday or Sunday mornings, early. We always get the same server, Tori. We love her. Their ice coffee is soooo good.

I have never been so appalled at a restaurant before in my entire life. While my family and myself were sitting there waiting to order we heard I really don’t care just give me my F… cking hash browns now from the kitchen!!! Well I asked our waitress to speak to a manager and he came over and really didn’t even seem to care and fluffed it off. After taking to some other employees who were this seems to be a normal thing. Sat for over ten minutes with my two kids… waitress walked by us to grab rags to clean a table but refused to take our order. She served people who sat after us And then walked in back. We got up and left. So frustrating

Glad to know that applebee’s hasn’t gone anywhere. Slow service and quality of food poor, you’d be better off traveling to a Denny’s than this location. I’ve eaten at plenty of IHOP restaurants before and never have any taken as long for our order to hit the table. The manager along with the waitress served our meal and allowed a brick called«hash browns» and over fried cheese sticks to be served. Do you have any pride in what you’re serving? While the waitress did replace the hash brown, I feel like our money would have been better spent or we should have driven out to the pike to visit their IHOP location as they have far superior service and pride in what they’re serving to customers. All together a very disappointing visit. I won’t be returning to this location. I will be sure to share pictures I took.

This was my first foray in a long time eating at a IHOP. I ordered scrambled eggs, smoked sausage, whole wheat toast dry with coffee. My eggs were done perfectly not tough, the sausage had a very bold, quite appealing, down South/Texas type smoky flavor. How often do you get toast which is barely toasted, toasted on one side not the other or just plain over done, not here the toaster that day was cranking out perfectly toasted photo op slices of bread, someone didn’t see«dry» on the order though. I wished my plate had arrived hotter from the kitchen it didn’t, barely warm, but that was forgivable as this restaurant was chock full of customers that morning, even so I though the service was very good.

My third time here and it wasn’t any different than the first and second. This is one IHOP I won’t be giving another chance to. Wait was not long but our wait time for our food(which we never received) was 45 minutes, would of been longer had we not decided that it was just long enough to get up and get out of there. I truly felt they forgot about us, my wife and I. Place seem filled with staff but was very slow on production, and to add more insult to our experience there was a freaking manager there on the floor that went over to peoples table to ask how their meal and stay was(he did walk by us a few times, no response). Not once did he come up to our table to see how we were doing or tell us why our service was taking long. That was just enough for us to get our things and get out of there. Shaking my head at this place. I will not recommend anyone that I know to this IHOP. IHOP(e) they have better service next time for future customers.

You don’t have to do fine dining everyday. When you have three young children, as I do, you can’t. They don’t eat the fine stuff. But they will eat here. This is one of the newest IHOPs, so it’s clean. The staff is very friendly. It is what it is. The food is consistent and you can get as much coffee as you can drink. As someone who has a coffee drinking problem, it helps. One of the things thats great about IHOP is that they always have coupons in in the paper.

I love IHOP and had high hopes for this location. Manchester is so much closer to where I live, and I was so happy when an IHOP opened up nearer to me. Family and I arrived around 3PM, and the place wasn’t busy at all. We were seated by a hostess and a lovely waitress took our drink and meal orders. I ordered a Splashberry Splasher for my drink(a whole strawberry, Sierra Mist, and orange juice), and it was fantastic. Sadly, that’s where my happiness ended. I had ordered the New York Cheesecake pancakes with hashbrowns, eggs cooked over well, and sausage. Our food arrived quickly… but my entire meal was missing. Strangely, we got two extra sides of buttermilk pancakes… the poor waitress apologized profusely and went to go check in the kitchen. Apparently, they’d forgotten to make my meal, so I sat there and watched my family eat while they made my food. So the waitress came back ten minutes later with a giant stack of the pancakes I asked for, saying I got extra because of the mix up. She offered to split them onto two separate plates and took them back into the kitchen. Another waitress brought them back out… only 2, instead of the 4 I’d received. Finally got the rest of my meal… the eggs were runny instead of cooked all the way through. Our waitress kindly explained that at IHOP, what I meant to ask for was ‘over hard.’ Weird, because every other time in my life that I ordered my eggs over well, they were full cooked through. The waitress apologized profusely once more after all of this went down and offered to comp my meal. That was highly appreciated. I felt really bad for her, because she was completely frustrated by the kitchen’s constant mix-ups. I have no idea who was cooking that day, but apparently they don’t know how to read tickets. Overall, I was highly, highly disappointed by this location. Expected way more from a great chain. The Bloomfield location will be the only IHOP I frequent from now on.

Is it just me? Maybe the places I have been choosing to visit? I just haven’t been getting any WOW’s in my dining recently. This IHOP was… Decent The décor and low set 90’s music and extremely bright lights(no I wasn’t hung over or anything) made me feel like I was undoubtedly in a hospital cafeteria. The waitress was bleh. Could have swapped her out with a Walmart cashier and never known the difference. the food came out well prepared… For frozen type stuff. My French toast was cold… I mean like I jut ate soggy cold bread with strawberry goo all over it. Everything else was hot. Overall… I think I’ll grab frozen French toast in the freezer isle next time and get all the fixins for breakfast in bed

I went when they had only been open for about a week or so, so maybe they have worked some things out. While the service was decent the food was not. Everything came out somewhat sad looking and lukewarm. The pancakes did not look like the pictures displayed at all and one of my eggs was undercooked. Overall, you can get a much better breakfast at several other locations in town.

Had to drive to JFK but needed to get some food. This was the perfect place to stop for breakfast. It was right off the exit and it just opened. Super fresh and clean. It was early so there were no lines and the staff was quick and pleasant. We got our food with no issues and no mix ups. The 6 of us left full. Stuffed strawberry french toast(strawberries were frozen and soft not fresh). The senior sampler of 2 looked good. Double blueberry pancake and choc choc chip pancake orders were huge. The two teen boys only ate half and were stuffed. Mr. G had the steak tips and eggs and I had the fried steak with gravy, eggs, hash browns and pancakes. I couldn’t finish and yes was stuffed. I’ve fallen off my healthy eating habits. This location is a place I would stop again. There was a line out the door when we left so go early!

Having opened maybe 2 weeks ago they were busy. Went for dinner, had pancakes, bacon, eggs and hash browns. Everything came out quick and was good. Staff was nice and friendly. Manager came over to just about all the tables to see how their meals were. I’d go again

A typical IHop experience. Food is always decent at IHop, but never anything quite special compared to what it available at smaller breakfast joints. However, for a chain the breakfast is better than others. The restaurant is new(where Applebee’s used to be next to Panera Bread). Interior is clean and fresh looking. Staff was very attentive and service was quick. Menu has many options and a lot of ways to be able to customize your order. Looking forward to dining there again.
