These guys were great. They were able to give me an honest, cheap easy fix for something that could have cost quite a bit had I gone a different route. Very grateful for their honesty and knowledge!

Postives: –Fairy inexpensive to fix my computer Negatives: –On the phone, less than professional. –Never told me in person what exactly they were going to do to fix it –Never called –After a few days, I called and still no answer on my computer –Finally after a week went down there, and it was ready –Never was able to commuicate in person what exactly was wrong with my computer and how they fixed it –Dissapointed Summary: I probably won’t go there again.

First of all, I think their customer services needs to be better in terms of friendliness. You can’t negotiate on any prices it seems with the used/refurbished gear which is totally wrong. The tech department is helpful. My main issue is their prices. Accessories, Memory, Monitors, etc. To much money for what they are asking. They charge an arm and a leg for refurbished computers. I can buy a brand new computer for their refurbished price and with better computer specs than they offer at Best Buy. For example, I was look at their Apple computers and they are charging the same price for a MacBook CORE2DUO Circa 2007 – 2010, and I can get an I5 or I7 chip MacBook for the same price! I went to an Apple store in MA that has used computers and the same computer that Kaplan wanted for $ 1200 was $ 450 and they were both in the same good condition with the same specs. Lower your prices and then you will get more service!
