The food here was just ok. I didnt like that i was charged twice for a soup because i asked for extra meat. I wouldn’t have minded an extra dollar or two but getting charged twice was ridiculous. I have had better thai food. The place is just run down and very little parking.

My favorite Thai food around Manchester. Good prices, authentic delicious food, don’t mind custom orders if you want tofu and brown rice, and I’ve never had a mistake with an order or an issue with talking on the phone. Very friendly and always smiling when you’re there. The décor is dated but clean. Not in the best part of town but sometimes it’s entertaining seeing the locals out front of the nextdoor bar. If you want a fancy place for a date you should look towards Elm street. If you want affordable, authentic Thai food, especially for take-out, look no further.

This place is so good. Doesn’t look like much from the outside– or even the inside honestly. But the food is good and service is polite and quick. I usually get the pad see ew but have also tried a few curries and the pad Thai. All have been delicious!

We tried this place on a search to find a new Thai place. We were seated by the friendly waitress who was beyond personable and was fantastic the entire night. The food was typical Thai faire with a decent amount of specials. We decided to go with the basics and shared a pad thai and drunken noodle. Both were only average, but they are one of the few places that actually crank the spice up to a great heat if you ask for it to be hot, so be prepared. Too many places warn you it’s spicy and it barely has any heat. Tom Kha Gai and ice teas were great too. The prices were average and the portion size was fair for what you pay. It anything needed to be addressed it was the dining area. We were the only ones sitting down to eat at 6 p.m. on a Saturday, though a few stragglers wandered in to collect takeout. The dining area was dark, with ugly carpets and paint. It wasn’t at all like the bright vibrant colors I’m used to in Asian restaurants. It made the whole place feel like a tomb. They have been in business long enough where they must get by, but I’m not sure that an empty dining room on a Saturday evening is a good sign. I’d try again if it’s still there.

I give this place five stars not because it’s the best most beautiful place, because it’s not. The ladies who run this place are! I’m writing this after once again placing an order five minutes from closing time and they always come through. The food is homestyle and good, the restaurant is small and traditionally decorated. The staff is once again the best, friendly and dedicated. Drunken noodles, massaman, Tom yum all consistently good… the golden bags and coconut rice custards are well worth the try… all that and good thai ice tea too! Glad to have such a great local goto for my long lunches and last minute take out meals.

Our takeout order of three dishes and a side of dumplings was adequate for two hungry, hard-working adults(smallish portions). The Pad Thai tasted strangely fishy and wasn’t what I’m accustomed to from this signature dish. The dumplings were small(not much stuffing), flat, greasy and overcooked. The other main dishes were simply uninspired and lacking in flavor. I’ve had much, much better Thai food in larger urban environments that offer a range of dining options. Unfortunately, this type of weak ethnic cooking is what I’ve come to expect in Manchester. I feel like many people who give these types of local spots positive reviews haven’t had the real deal(knock your socks off spice combinations, fresh ingredients), so they don’t have much else to compare them with. Oh yeah, no lime wedges included either to add that zesty zing to bring out additional contrasting tastes. Meh.

Went for dinner, felt more like the run of the mill Chinese restaurant, menu with pictures and funny names for entrees. Server was very nice and may have also been the cook. She disappeared for long times. The place was empty, finally some other folks showed up. I had Tom Yum soup that was OK and a seafood stir fry thing, I don’t remember the name. it tasted good but had two of each protein item; two mussels, two scallops, some squid and two large shrimp that had the shell on them. Really a pain in the neck to eat! I should have probably stuck with more traditional curry or pad thai. Not sure I would go back.

I think this is like a 3.75. I had a vermicelli and shrimp thing in a clay pot, thai iced tea(too sweet), and golden bags(appetizer). It was all pretty good. I wish I’d known the vermicelli dish had cilantro, but oh well. I’d go again. Protip: Ask for the Thai menu if you can read it!

This was not as good as I remember it being. Friday night and the place was fairly crowded, which is a good sign as the restaurant does more take out than eat in, but the ambiance is terrible, and its location in a not entirely safe feeling in a little tiny plaza strip of businesses does not inspire any feelings of confidence on the way in. Once seated, I was struck by how our waitress seemed exhausted or something, which came across as impatient and unfriendly. Before ordering, I visited the rest room, which was run down and not exactly clean, which always makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like. And the food, which is what is most important? The crab rangoon were over-deep fried and there wasn’t much filling(though others in my party ordered them, I am pretty harsh on most crab rangoon). The Thai ice tea was almost all ice and I literally spooned out most of the cubes into my water glass, which left precious little liquid orange left in my tea glass. The main meals(we ordered five for our party) were tasty, and hot and we had not problem finishing them, but the pad thai was unimaginative and consisted almost entirely of noodles, with just 3 shrimp in the whole thing, and too many peanuts. And the curries were good, but too heavy, not light like I like my Thai food. Yes, I am a bit of a pita when it comes to restaurants and food, but little holes in the wall with outstanding food are my favorite places, and this only met one of those criteria. I wish Manchester had a better Thai place.

We always enjoy getting pad Thai from here for takeout. I’ve never eaten in the restaurant. It has a weird feel to it — usually only a few people inn there, dark, old tables and minimal ambiance… For takeout we’ve always had great food. If it’s your first time, you have to take a picture of the signage because the restaurant is adjacent to a pet store, so the vertical sign reads as follows: Lakorn Thai Food for Pets … It’s on many a Facebook wall, so don’t forget to take your picture with this awesome sign of coincidence ;) I’ll upload one if I can find it.

I grew up next to this place, was never adventurous enough to try it until recently. Spoiled with PNW asian food and psyched to discover how much of a gem this place is! GF and I have gone a couple times. The service is great, sweet and nice waitstaff. The décor inside was nice and not too flashy for a thai restaurant. Very authentic feel. Appetizer: chicken satay with peanut sauce(very tastey). Entrees: the Panang curry was very good, different veggies than what I’m used to and I rarely eat veggies. Either way, I left the plate clean. My girly always gets the Yellow Curry and says it’s great. I even went off the beaten path and tried the Larb(national dish of Laos) and was pleasantly surprised! Strong coriander flavors and vastly different than anything I’ve ever tried. So far, best Thai in the ManchVegas area!

I LOVE this place. This is my favorite thai food restaurant in NH. Muse has nothing on this place. This is a hidden gem, sort of a hole in the wall find but they serve high quality food. Every dish that I have tried here is delicious, very flavorful, and authentic. My favorites dishes are the Green Curry, Red Curry, Panag Curry, Thai Fried Rice, and the Pad Siew.(basically everything that I have tried I LOVED) The portion sizes are average, not meant for«family style» more geared for a individual order. They are very generous with the meat and vegetables in the curry, my only gripe is that there is not enough of the delicious curry sauce, even when you order it with extra curry sauce.

This restaurant is a gem! The food is authentic and tasty! The folks are nice. The chili fish(don’t know the actual name) is really good, everything we’ve had here is fantastic. It’s a drive for us but has completely replaced our favorite Boston/Brookline/Cambridge spot. Only downside is the portion sizes are a little small for family style, which Asian people do when eating Asian foods. ABSOLUTELY get the STICKYRICEWITHTARO dessert. They make it just like in Thailand, haven’t seen this on menus elsewhere around here.

No. No. No. No! Not even worth a star. We ordered Pad Thai & Basil Fried Rice. When the Pad Thai came out, I thought we had just ordered plain noodle. It had a couple pieces bean sprouts, carrot and some chicken. It had no taste but little sweetness and was very wet unlike other pad thai we had ever eaten. Like other review, it was small like kids meal. The Basil Fried Rice tasted like soy sauce mix with fish sauce. And same as the Pad Thai had only a few of veggie and just a little bit of thai basil, 3 or 4 tiny mini red pepper, some onion but a lot green peas and some pork. The place was dusty and had some kind of dusty odor and we were very uncomfortable sitting there. We hoped to find a good thai restaurant but it was very disappointed. No wonder why the waitress was unhappy to work there and she seemed mad.

This place is SO good. I have no complaints, though in truth I’ve never actually eaten here. everything I’ve gotten has been to go. I’ve been to Thailand, did a cooking class there, so I can vouch for the«real thing» and this isn’t quite that. but it’s seriously good. I’ve been looking around forever for a good Thai spot and I finally found it. I crave the Massaman Curry with tofu.

It’s a hole in the wall but with authentic and tasty Thai cooking. This is the most authentic Thai food I’ve had in NH, and I’ve never had a bad dish there. My small handful of Thai friends in the area agree that this is the spot(one said it’s the only Thai place her Thai mom will eat). In contrast, around the corner you have Muse Thai Bistro(formerly Siam Orchid), that is also making Thai food, but in a hipper atmosphere and geared slightly more for American palates. They’re also having fun with the menu, making good use of Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese dishes, ingredients and flavors, along with the Thai-American standards. So a nice place, but a completely different concept and experience. If you want something that’s just about the food, with authentic flavor profiles, this is the spot in Manchester. And while Muse is a decent place with lots of Asian flavors, if what I really want is Thai food, I’ll take Lakorn over it every time.

Really, I love it here. We’ve been a few times, both for take-out and eating there, and I think it’s the best in the area by far. Massaman Curry with chicken is to die for– the smell of the dish when it gets to the table is amazing– the coconut milk with the curry and potatoes, pineapple, onions… mmmmmmm. We’ve had all variations of Pad Thai also of course, and again the best around. Dinner here on a Friday night, with a Tsingha beer that is served perfectly cold, and I’m very happy.

Wasn’t impressed with the overall taste of the entrée and the Tom Yum was worst I’ve ever had. They are too light on the variety of vegetables both in the entre and soup. The Tom Yum is Broth and Mushrooms thats is. Very strange but apparently Im the only person to ever complain about it,. I can’t believe people rated this place a 5 Star.

The service was kinda slow but it was lunch rush so I understand. the food was worth the wait. the drunken noodles with beef were tasty and had great spice. The Siam rolls had bean sprouts and carrots with a hint of ginger and were not greasy. the price was good for what you get and portion size is enough to fill you up. all in all I would go again.
