I have been going here since I was little, very small place. Beware that food is cooked to order and if you are seated at a time where the restaurant was slammed in a wave, you will go through 1 – 2 cups of coffee waiting for your food. That being said, there is one chef that runs the place, the wait staff preps and cuts ingredients in their down time. So, the food is immensely consistent. I consider this a large plus because you always know how the food will be, and won’t have to worry about a new chef. Very reliable, simple, hearty food cooked well. If you like experimental inventive cuisine, this is not your place. I go often for breakfast with my boyfriend because I am obsessed with the veggie omelet, it is perfection! 2 or 3 egg with 2 slices of toast and a fair helping of potatoes/hash browns. Veggies are always soft but not mushy, just enough cheese not to be goopy or runny. A swipe of toast can handle the minimal excess. I’ve also had their lovely French toast and giant pancakes, both wonderful… But the omelet has my heart. The boyfriend often orders eggs Benedict when it’s on the specials board, and liked it very much. I highly suggest to go either early or at the end of breakfast service to avoid a massive wait.

This is a wonderful place to spend a lazy morning over breakfast or have a relaxed lunch made from some surprising ingredients. At first glance, it would seem that it’s your typical greasy-spoon but this is far from the case! Sure, it has the typical breakfast and lunch staples but their revolving daily specials would surprise you; not only in the type of food served, but the quality of ingredients and layers of flavor. This is food created to savor, not to plow through. Take the time and enjoy it!

I understand that the food is «cooked to order», but we waited almost 3 hours on a sat for eggs, toast and bacon. When it came it was not worth the wait… cold and not cooked the way we asked… but no bother sending it back. i cant afford another 4 hour wait. The place its self is outdated and everything was dusty. Smells damp and waitstaff was rude, unorganized, and kept fighting with one another. Maybe its time they upgrade from a cook who is 100 years old… I’ll never suggest this place to anyone. ever.

Another wonderful hole in the wall, tucked off a corner of Main Street, my favorite hub of local weekend eateries. Main Street is a treasure trove for breakfast lovers, with The Sinnamon Shop, Landmark Café, Brass Key, Fani’s Kitchen and Sunny Side Up all within a quarter mile walk. But I digress. I roped in my delightful friends to accompany me on this most recent outing– and I’m glad to have been in such good company because we stayed far longer than I expected. Keep in mind, you might experience long, long waits even if you’re seated right away. There’s only one cook workin’ away behind the scenes, a flurry of arms and spatulas. So come prepared– either equipped with good company or a good book if you’re a table for one. Slow service aside, the Sinnamon Shop is a cozy, sweetly aromatic breakfast spot with crêpe style pancakes that’ll make you swear off the fluffy stuff forever. These plate-sized pancakes(daintily dusted with powdered sugar) were a tremendously delicious experience. Beyond the pancakes(and it’s SO hard to get beyond those pancakes), we enjoyed every morsel of the rest of our meal. I was craving a bacon, egg & cheese, and my friends opted for delicious omelets… and for the amount of time spent waiting for the food, our delectable spread was well worth the delay. I think my whole meal(bacon egg & cheese on grilled eng. muffin + 1 massive pancake + coffee) was around $ 7…not bad!

Pros; Nice little Nook just off of Main St. Downtown Manchester. I believe the corner street is Oak Street. They are in a small hut just down Oak Street on the left. Plenty of free parking behind the restaurant. –Always feel cozy when going here becaue of their tiny but interesting and homy restaurant. Feels like your actually in Vermont(if you sit in the back) with hardwood floors and a nice windows and capecod style. –Waitress was very friendly and she doubled as a station assistant by cutting small vegies in her free time. –Coffee was good, and my homestyle vegie soup came out in seconds! The crackers tasted a bit stale though. –You have to try the«Marinated tomato turkey burger».melted in my mouth composing of 2 small pieces of pita bread which barely held my meat together. lol. but the marinated tomatos really made the sandwich delishhh! –If youre looking for a quiet place to dine, this IS it! NO music is played, and is also very quiet in the kitchen, makes you wonder how they communicate? lol. so, if you or your wife wants a quiet place to dine, this IS it… dine in peace and youll walk out feeling so much better!!! –The staff is friendly .a big plus. because they make you feel at home:) Cons –Must use CASH only –Coffee coudl’ve been better –Attention! They stop serving Breakfast at 11am! So, if this is a problem for you, beware!!! Overall– You won’t be dissapointed wtih The Sinnamon Shop. I believe they have been there for almost 15 years! Yes, there is a reason why people keep on coming back for more!!!1
