Had the cheese steak and it was good for the price. Super friendly people.

A no frills, nothing fancy sub shop that also does breakfast sandwiches and coffee. The subs aren’t overstuffed, but not overpriced either and the owner is a very friendly guy who seems to love what he does.

I had a coupon for $ 5 it stated that I must spend $ 8 that is ok with me my order came to $ 9.20 but when I gave it to the cranky lady at the register she told me I needed to spend $ 10, she would NOT accept the coupon she said that changed the pricing on them and they would not change their rules .80AREYOUKIDDINGME!!! Guess what I will never again step foot in this place!!! And I am going to put a complaint in with also

I wanted to like the Stuffed Sub more. They are one of the dwindling number of Elm Street Institutions that I remember from 10 – 15 years back. It’s a small sub shop run by a husband and wife(I believe) and they are two of the friendliest business owners in the city. They get a star just for their positive attitude and friendly demeanor. I have ordered three sandwiches from them in the past year. The pastrami was really good and Yui’s description was about right. It was very tasty with complementary flavors. After turning vegetarian, I tried their veggie pocket. Honestly, it was disappointing. It was an odd mix of vegetables resulted in varying textures. The pocket could not stand up to the amount of cooked vegetables and cheese and collapsed. The egg salad sandwich I had today was solid, even if the roll was a bit too bulky for my tastes(brought in off-site, can’t complain, like most white sub rolls you would buy in a supermarket), with well seasoned, creamy, tasty egg salad crammed into the sandwich. The prices can’t be beat either. I don’t think there is a sandwich over $ 7.00 on the menu and they have a wide variety of sides available(chips, pickles, brownies/cookies, etc.) and a loyalty card(buy 9 get your 10th free) to make this one of the more cost-efficient options in the area. Also, I have no idea why, but every time I’ve been in here, the other customers are just as tall or even taller than I am. And I’m 6’4″. It’s the land of giants. In conclusion, I wouldn’t expect anything out of this world. You can see them defrosting some of your meats in their decades-old microwave, or even softening the sub roles in the same way. You’re not going to get the world’s greatest sub here, but there’s enough charm, value, and food to keep you coming back.

Great little sub shop on the north end of Elm, perfect for a quick lunch. I’ve been going there on a fairly regular basis for a couple of years now, and have never had a bad experience. Personal favorites are the Steak Bomb and the Milano.

The food here is not necessarily anything to get excited about, but the prices are terrific and Matt(the owner) is one of the nicest folks you could ever hope to meet. Definitely thumbs up. Not a ton of options for vegetarians, but that’s not unexpected at a sub shop. Update: After talking to Matt, he’s just started carrying veggie burgers as an option. You just don’t get that sort of attitude towards customers in general these days.

The definition of «mom&pop joint». The older couple owners are so cute. They work and flow well together like they’ve been doing it for years(obvi). The subs they whip up are legit. My pastrami sandwich didnt have that shaved meat available everywhere else. They used hot tender cubed pastrami perfectly paired with provolone and onions. Since it’s right across the street from school, my classmates and I often run over for a quick lunch. and try their breakfast sandwiches: egg+peppers+meat and some sauce. mmm… Egg salad sandwich is also a big hit with me. So simple. or so you think. They take time to season it to perfection. mwa.

This little sub shop is owned and operated by an older couple and located across the street from the Mass College of Pharmacy. This space is small with small tables in front. The menu offers breakfast omelet subs, cold subs, hot subs, chips, snack cakes, brownies, and cold drinks from the cooler. The prices for all subs/pockets range from $ 4.60-$ 5.95 before tax. Popular subs include the Veggie Pocket, Pastrami Sub, The Milano(Italian sub with the works), and the Steak Bomb. I order the large Steak Bomb(9″), which is pretty good and messy. They use cubed steak(not the commercial product), which means less fat and no gristle, grilled to perfection with peppers, onions, marinated mushrooms, diced Genoa salami, and melted cheese. I give the food 3.5STARS, but I’m rounding up for the friendly and positive attitude of the owners.
