I am a Texas girl and know my text mex. This good is soooooooo good. Locals recommended the fajitas but we ordered some a la cart tacos to try the different meats. the entomatillas tacos are amazing (especially the cheese and I do not normally like cheese enchiladas). we also ordered a chili relleno (pardon spelling) which is very good also. we will be back on our next travel from TX to NY. I don’t want to forget the owners who are super sweet too.

Ignore the snotty, entitled white chick’s review on here who was pissing and moaning about nachos. Nobody with even the slightest good taste in food goes for nachos at a legit Mexican joint. This place is what we’ve been looking for ever since leaving California. Everything was just SO good! I had shredded chicken taquitos, chicken sope and a chicken enchilada. I also shared in the fish ceviche and chips and salsa so what I’m trying to say is, I’m STUFFED. Everything I had was delicious. Oh yeah, the salsa verde is spicy but very good!

Great food, friendly people and several things that are not peppery hot. I love Latin American food, but hot peppers don’t like me. For example, the regular shrimp taco dinner is spicy and comes with corn tortillas, but the shrimp tacos can also be grilled and served with flour tortillas, which are tasty but not peppery. The entomatadas are also a delicious mild dish for those of us who need to limit our hot pepper intake.

Super unimpressive. We just came here to get nachos which you really can’t mess up but I really didn’t like them. The beans were super plain, there was barely any cheese or sour cream. Mostly just crappy lettuce on top of some bland ground beef and chips
On a positive note, the service was fast and the waiter was very nice.

Finally I have found AUTHENTIC mexican food in Louisiana. It has been a long and hard road from craving mexican food for the past year. I am orginally from California and have lived in Texas and this hands down is right there with them. From the tortillas to the salsa I am pleased! I come here once and week, but somebody who loves Mexican food like me would do the same. I drive from Slidell and will sit in traffic. Soooo happy. I have my tacos right now and going to shove them in my face. Tata

Went last night with the boyfriend and loved it. Quick service even though they were slammed, great food, and very nice people. We also had margaritas that were pretty good. He had carne asada and I got a burrito. We shared guac and queso as usual. Worth a visit in Mandeville!
