I used the Groupon deal for half head of highlights (Lindsay was colorist) and conditioning treatment and Jerry cut my hair. They both did an excellent job and were very pleasant and friendly as well. The staff are top notch. The color looks beautiful! And Jerry gave me a very stylish looking cut !! I couldn’t be happier. Will definitely be a repeat customer.

I was told by a staffer that your hair coloring experience is the same whether you use a Groupon deal or pay regular price. NOT TRUE. Although the colorist was sweet, I noticed they used the bleach developer that was already sitting there from previous client. For my highlights, they just bleach your hair and barely rinse it off in sections as it lightens to desired level. They wash your hair with a toner which is just a shampoo because it is not left on. My soft highlights looked okay and of course after a blow dry with plenty of product, I left Paul Anthony feeling and looking pretty good. I then washed my hair a few days and that soft toner disappeared and my hair is a brassy cheap hot mess. It is also frizzy and damaged. This is the shortcut way of highlighting hair. It usually take more then an hour and a half to do the right job. You get what you pay for. Never again.

I’ve been going to this place since I was little and my mother and my aunts have been using Anita since before I was born. It is the only place I go to to get my hair done because they know how I like my hair done and only people I trust. Yea it is a little pricey but it is worth it.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. The hairdresser got a brush stuck in my hair 3 times and pulled chunks of my hair out without a single apology. It came out so awful that i left in tears and went directly to a different hairdresser. They saw how upset i was at the front and offered to redo it for me a different time, then went back on their word! They’re unfriendly and rude. There’s a reason the groupon is so cheap! Do not buy it!

Bought a Groupon for style and deep conditioner. A stylist was assigned to me named E.J. I brought a photo of a hairstyle that I liked and wanted, and even pointed out another stylist with a cut I thought was nice. My assigned stylist said «Oh no! It’s summer; you need to be shorter». I said I did not want to be shorter. When I arrived my hair was several inches past my shoulders, which I like. My hair is also healthy. Although the stylist pulled my wet hair forward and stretched it out on my shoulders, we all know that wet hair looks much longer than when dry. I emerged with a short style that I cannot care for. I look like a middle-​aged housewife from Middle America. Overall, I would never go back! A stylist needs to «hear» what the client in the chair is saying. I said I don’t want it short, but she did as she pleased. As I left, I was not asked if I was happy, nor was there any follow up as would have been expected. Yes, I did tip, but it was it was only to acknowledge that the cut had been done.

I have been going to Anita at Paul Anthony for 15 or more years. Since my Bat-​Mitzvah she has been the only one to cut my hair! The salon is always clean and well maintained. I love that I see so many of the same faces, both clients and hair dressers– I just feel that its a testament to a good business structure. I would follow Anita anywhere but for now I am thrilled that she is at Paul Anthony!

Bought the Groupon and was extremely happy with the services I received. I got an appointment with Jerry and he was fantastic! He knew exactly how to cut my hair and what style would work best. I’m Filipino and my hair is long and thick. Now my hair feels light and bouncy. He spent about an hour getting everything right making sure not a hair was out of place. He truly is a great stylist. I got compliments the minute I walked out the door. If you read this, Jerry, thanks again!!!

I went to Paul Anthony for the first time this week, when the stylist I have gone to for many years moved his clientele to this location. Jerry gives such a good cut and blow dry that I would travel many miles to follow him, however he moved just across town so I really lucked out. I get many compliments about my haircuts, and the great thing is that the cut grows out well so it looks good even after 6 – 8 weeks of no cut! Jerry can do it all: cut, color, style, keratin, perm, etc. As a bonus, Jerry is a great guy who has a stellar reputation in our town for many years. As for Paul Anthony Salon, it was clean, well appointed, had private areas for waxing, pedicures, etc, was nicely decorated, and everyone was friendly and welcoming. Jerry at Paul Anthony Salon is a great combination!

I had 2 groupons, one for color and one for a haircut, and was told in the store they only honor one. So, I paid $ 30 for the groupon haircut and had to pay $ 28 additional for the haircut. Groupon refunded me $ 30 in groupon dollars. The haircut and color were good.

So I went to this «high end» salon for a full highlight color. First off, for the prices this place charges, it is definitely not high end. I also NEVER right reviews, but felt the need to do this one. The color room is downstairs and is not ventilated, so from the time I walked in, I was choking on all of the smells of hair dye and my eyes were burning. The color area was dingy and needs to be refreshed. Nobody came over to ask if I’d like something. I asked if I can get water, and someone said you can get it yourself and showed me where to go. Um, hello, this is suppose to be a high-​end salon. The colorist was ok, but then when I saw my hair was not the color it should be, i.e.: my hair being almost white!!, she gave me an attitude when I asked her to correct it with a toner.
All in all, this salon reminded me of a very large lemon tree. The people that work there and their clients were mainly 80 and older! I do not believe they hold classes and perform any education to their staff to keep them up to date with the latest trends.
I would NOT recommend this salon. It is not a place for trendy young clients. I may recommend it to my grandmother if she wanted to overpay for a color and cut.
