There were 3 of us looking for a nice Italian restaurant in the neighborhood and my wife had a co-worker tell her about Nick & Pedro’s. We were told at other local places that the wait(albeit I was calling around 6:30) was long and they were booked until 10 pm. So off to Nick & Pedros’ we went and was delightfully surprised. We ordered off the menu and everything was better than good. No wait, staff was on top of everything and the food was not only good but reasonably priced. We will go back again.

Service is perfect every time. Food is excellent and they make a great cappuccino! Come here all the time for tremendous lunch salads. Owners are friendly and try to make dining a pleasure.

This is a fairly decent restaurant. The food was great and the waiter was very friendly. We were there for an early lunch on a weekday, so we had the undivided attention of the waiter. He was knowledgable of the menu and was able to make good recommendations. The menu has a very extensive selection of salads and many of the pastas are homemade. An excellent place for lunch if you don’t mind the expense.

Delicious food, and excellent service, I have had nothing but great experiences here. Its usually somewhat quiet, so it’s great for Large groups. They do a great Christmas Eve dinner/takeout.

I normally don’t write reviews but I feel compelled after my experience eating at this restaurant last night when I walked in there was two top and a large table with a party and myself the waitress slash hostess first came up i asked several questions about what was that on the menu she was completely totally clueless and probably didn’t have a great comprehension of the English language the food on the other hand was actually pretty good service was abysmal. After finishing my meal I Must have sat for over 10 minutes with the plate with the remnants of the veal chop with no one ever walking over to take the plate away for me after 10 minutes manager came by as he was being attentive to the large party table and proceeded to take off the remnants of what I eat. After the manager left it took another 10+ minutes before somebody came over to the table as I ushered for the manager to come by. I expressed my displeasure with the amount of time I was waiting with an empty plate of food in front of me and never proceeded ever take the bread off the table or wipe up any of the crumbs that were on the table or ever offered me dessert or coffee. Once i expressed my dissatisfaction with the level of service to the manager he just looked at me like a deer in headlights and proceeded to walk away and it took once again probably another 5+ minutes for waiter to come over and bring the check. The manager had any sense whatsoever he would’ve offered free coffee cappuccino maybe dessert on the house to try to possibly retain me as a client. The veal chop and calamari salad was quite good unfortunately with the level of service I will never return this restaurant again.

Prior to last week, I’d only been here once in high school. We remembered it fondly and since we were going to be nearby, we decided to stop in for an early dinner. The menu is expansive with most of your typical higher-end Italian fare. I was impressed by the plethora of salad choices. I started with the insalata de arugula, with goat cheese crostini green apples and toasted almonds. My mom had the house salad with mixed green, corn, fresh mozzarella and walnuts and the husband opted for calamari. Everyone was pleased. For entrees I went with the fettucini boscaiola, which came in a porcini sauce with peas and mushrooms. My mom and husband choose a pasta daily special and a fish daily special, respectively. Again, everyone was pleased, and there were enough to take home leftovers for a second meal. Note: If you can’t do stairs, have someone drop you off in the front of the restaurant(parking in in a lot around back and that entry has a flight of stairs). Also be aware that the bathroom is down another flight of stairs, making it not ideal for those of us who had recent foot surgery. Definitely a nice spot if you’re craving Italian. Prices are a little too high, but to be expected in this neighborhood.

My mother decided to come here based on a nice lunch she had several years ago– huge mistake! Horrible service, waited 45 min for a table reserved 1 week ahead of time(we’re fairly certain they gave our table away). You would think they would at least try to make up for it by serving us our appetizers quickly. It took well over another 30 min to receive our appetizers after we ordered– meanwhile– there are only a few tables there, and 2 of 5 of those appetizers were basic salads! Another table walked out during this time. The chef came out and went off on another table later in the night! This is a tiny restaurant! The whole thing was bizarre. Food was ok, not fantastic(and one person found hers to be disgusting and barely ate), not worth the price or wait, no deductions on the bill considering all the bs. At a $ 200 bill, one would expect so much more. I don’t know how this place manages to stay in business. All we wanted to do was leave, too bad we got the prix fix(though we did not stick around for tea/coffee which was included, we had enough). Never again!
