Starbucks

My daily fix for sure, and hands-​down my favorite Starbucks, anywhere, anyplace, whether NYC, SF, LA, FL, Chicago, Asia… this is the best (notable given the non-​city location!) Disagree with reviewers who say this is a standard Starbucks — it’s definitely not. The baristas here seem to know the first name and complex-​coffee-​combo of every customer who walks in the door. This could be a function of Manhasset itself — tiny town, not a lot of transient traffic. But for that very seem reason, management has cherry-​picked a staff that fits the tiny town vibe — über-​friendly, always remembers a customer’s order, like mine. I’m constantly changing things up, and they remember just as quickly.

If you’ve decided to stop here while driving through Manhasset, I’d strongly consider going to the Dunkin Donuts across the street or another SBUX. The place is packed to the brim and the staff is very slow to the punch (poor quality of service). Definitely a poorly managed coffee shop that desperately needs better training. I assume the positive reviews here are mostly from locals who have never been to another SBUX.

Love my local starbucks. The employees are always helpful and nice. Its a small location on a corner. It has plenty of seating with free wifi. Its really clean. One drawback is that there is no drive through. They always make my drinks in a short amount of time. Never get annoyed on line :)
Got the mixed berry tea. Really good. Has pieces of real berry in there :) there were no additional sweeteners added but still sweet
My favorite of all time is the vanilla bean frap with the cookie straw. Always get the cookie straw!

This is your typical Starbucks location it has some nice comfy chairs and a bar top seating area. The staff here is very friendly and this location has a parking which is very rare for the town of manhasset which is a huge plus!

I was adamant on buying my drink here as opposed to buying it around work in NYC as I didn’t want to walk with my drink around before getting to work… I am glad I missed my train and had a lot of time to come here. I ordered my usual peach green tea lemonade and it was one of the best I’ve from all the Starbucks I’ve visited lately. It didn’t lack in anything. Drinks from Starbucks are very inconsistent depending on where you go… They don’t fill up the cup, it is missing lemonade or syrup, it is too watery or full of ice, or it is like 1″ of foam (even w/​teas if they shake it too much)… My drink was perfect… I will definitely come back again :-)
Update: I had to update this review, my tea didn’t taste the same this time… Plus way too much ice… Two scoops of ice in my venti sized tea… So disappointed! I already finished ²⁄₃ of my drink by the time I walked to the train station… Now I am left with more than half a of ice and very little to drink

I always hop around to different locations; never really sticking to one place to be considered «A regular». I finally had my epiphany somewhere around my 3^rd or 4^th visit here. After watching other «regulars» greet the baristas and carry on various conversations, I’ve often wondered what would take. To my surprise I was kindly greeted by Kasey and then immediately asked if I wanted my regular green tea soy latte. At first I didn’t respond and Kasey laughed (I assumed this happened often enough). To me not at Starbucks are the same, this location was kept very clean and tidy. The glass door and windows are continually wiped away of fingerprints and oils. The stock is kept up; customers are able to order as they choose without having to worry. The staff is energetic and helpful, even at 6:50 in the morning. I can see where parking can become and issue. They have a very small parking lot that consists of approximately 6 spots. Since they are on a corner of a small street and a busy road, you can find street parking.

Kind of a hub in town. There is almost never parking in the tiny parking lot so I recommend expecting to park elsewhere. Other than that it’s exactly what you would expect. Which is a good thing.

Disgusting store with an overflowing cesspool in the parking lot. Urine and who knows what else literally in the parking lot Has been this way for months and Starbucks does nothing about the problem. Store employees are nice and are aware of the problem but have no authority to correct problem. Corporate store has been informed and regional manager was made aware, but the problem persists endangering the health of our children that walk by the area as well as Starbucks own clients. Apparently, Manhasset’s health means little to Starbucks!

You get to know the baristas. They are nice here. Pleasant place to grab the wife’s tea.
You can park on the street or in the Bank’s lot next door if the lot is full. And from 7:45 to 8:15 am, it is always full. Parents that just dropped off their kids at school all getting their morning fix. Come earlier or later.

Nice coZy place with excellent service.

This is a pretty standard Starbucks location. All the drinks I’ve ordered here have been good, and service is fast and friendly. They do have a small amount of their own parking, which is nice. Otherwise, it’s a pretty straightforward Starbucks.

Convenient location and surprisingly spacious inside. There’s plenty of seating inside and out, but also laid out in a way that doesn’t feel crowded. Service was friendly and quick. There’s parking available in a small lot outside that fills up quickly or there’s street parking. I had to dock one star because the barista who served me was gnawing on piece of gum with his mouth open and I did not appreciate the lack of hygiene there.

While parking can be tough here at any time of the day, this Starbucks is much better than the one in nearby Great Neck. Lines move quickly and the staff is efficient in making the drinks and remembering customers orders. The place is well kept and they have the Clover machine.
There are some tables near the door like Stefanie D. mentioned but there is also a high bar style seating area and some more tables away from the door, so you can just move if the «wind tunnel» is forming.
Parking in front, and I’ve never seen anyone towed from the adjoining lot.

Very clean and laid back. just like any Starbucks should be. Staff is super friendly and accomodating. I love it here. Also the bahtrooms are very clean.

Standard Starbucks, but the sitting area is right by the door and basically a wind tunnel in the cold months.

This starbucks is differentiated from all other starbucks because of it’s close proximity to the Manhasset train station.
Same starbucks fare as normal; parking is kind of hard as Plandome road is busy, but nothing beats sitting down here with a cup of tea or coffee while being only a block and a half from the train station.
