Although they acknowledged and greeted us, it took a while to get our order taken. We weren’t in a rush, though, so I didn’t mind.
I’m on a specific diet and had a VERY complicated order. They took care of me and instead of feeling annoyed about it, seemed very happy to do so.

Yesterday I went to Johnny Rockets and ordered a smoke house burger, made it a double. The burger was hot when they brought it to me, it was also very juicy and we’ll made, The fries were good too, I’m definitely going there again. I also recommend this place to who ever is looking for a great burger.

The service was absolutely horrible. I called in an order and when I arrived I stood at the register for 10 minutes before being acknowledged. However, I was passed by at least 7 times by the manager before a cook came and asked if I needed help. 2 minutes later the manager came back and asked. «can I help you?» Not a hello, thank you for waiting… Nothing! Got my food, took my money, no receipt and said have a good day. No eye contact mind you. My food was subpar, not bad but not something of a wow factor that I’d tell friends about. I’ll never go back there. If I have to drive to Del Amo, I will just do that. I really expected more, especially due to its location.

I LOVE the Burgers! I always choose the build your own just because I’m really simple when it comes to what I want on it :) oh and the onion rings are my favorite! My meal was perfect and I was so happy that they had coffee as well because I was completely out and really needed some. I guess the only thing I will complain about is that my boyfriend ordered a Philly cheese steak sandwich and wasn’t really thrilled like I was. He ate it but he said that it didn’t have much flavor and wouldn’t order it again, he did however really like the onion rings. So if your going here for lunch or dinner the burgers are amazing, I haven’t tried anything else there because once I find something I like I tend to get the same every time. I hope this was helpful for someone

The worst service ever! I arrived here at 10:30pm this location closes at 11pm and I was turned away. When I mentioned to her that it says they close at 11pm the person on duty, Dusty (I believe that was her name) said, «we decided to close early because we were slow.»

HORRIBLE. Will never order from this company again. I ordered a chicken sandwich since I cannot eat red meat due to health reasons. They sent me a steak melt. Really? So we call and they offer a refund. Ok, that sounds fair. If only they didn’t compulsively lie to us about how the driver is on the way for a whole hour. Finally we had to go in person for the cash refund. The supervisor claimed that he had called us, and caught himself in a lie once we showed evidence that we never received a call on our call log. After a while, he decided they deserved to keep the delivery tip. No, no you don’t. He refused to give us our full refund that we were promised over the phone. It took a long time to finally get our money back.
This was a disgusting experience that really opens my eyes to their greed, and deceitful nature. Corporate would do well to look into management, and their people skills.
Save yourself the trauma, and the gas money. Do not order their delivery.

Thank you for always having coupons. You keep us fed and coming back for more tasty burgers. I love their root beer floats. They even give you a lil extra root beer in a side cup. Service is always good and the 50’s music is great. I don’t normally deviate from the norm and tend to order the Rocket Single. It’s got cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. All in a thousand island sauce. The food is always fresh and I’ve never had a bad burger. They do have menu items that change from time to time and it’s always fun to try something new. I really wanna order from the kids menu cause their mini dogs are pretty tasty. We always order the half fries half onion rings to share. There’s enough for 2 – 3 people.

It’s overpriced but the food is delicious! This Johnny Rockets is usually busy but their staff is courteous. Their chocolate shakes are THE BEST. Good amount of ice cream and milk is mixed and they top it all off with whipped cream. Mmm. I’ve had their burgers which are big and mouthwatering. Their fries could taste better (less soggy) and their chicken tenders are cooked well until golden brown and crispy!

I had order a glass of water and the cup came dirty and I ask for second one and the second one came dirty as well. I didn’t get an apology or anything. I will never come back again. I will not recommend this place to anyone. Service was horrible. Very dirty place. Staff was very over sweaty and dripping sweat. I had to leave this place!

BRUHHH.
Ace move on the Korean BBQ Burger. Every time I mosey on over here I’m greeted with friendly attitude, fast service and delicious food.
«Is there a long wait?» Nah.
«Does it get rowdy with teenage hooligans?» Nah.
«Is it good for groups?» Most def. Especially when everybody stacks their phones on the table and have whoever grabs their phone first to pay the bill.

I’ve eaten there many times but at this location it has not been a good experience lately. The waiter/​supervisor was rude when taking the order. The hamburgers are so sloppy you can’t eat them.
This place was good at one time. Seems mismanaged!

I love eating here. It’s better than McDonald’s. The sandwiches are fresh and fries are delicious. The price is the same at McDonald’s and the taste is better. Johnny Rockets is better junk food. A healthier version at least. The staff is friendly. I eat here so much they know my order. I am glad I discover this place over 10 years ago. I eat at many Johnny Rockets. It’s my first choice.

With so many restaurants in the area I always end up going back to Johnny Rockets. Been enjoying their food since 2012 and have not once been disappointed. From the moment I walk in the door I know I’ll have a wonderful experience. Food is perfectly cooked every time. Comes to the table fresh and hot without a long wait time. The staff are super friendly and make me feel special even though the place might be crowded.
Was so impressed that I even had them cater an office lunch in El Segundo. Not only was the food hot and fresh but they took time to label the bags with the individual employees name.
Our company just relocated to a building in Los Angeles but you can bet that I’ll drive the extra distance to continue enjoying Johnny Rockets in Manhattan Beach.

Stopped by for lunch today and had a great experience. My wife and I are always looking for opportunities to praise a business and this is definitely a place to stop by. The staff was super friendly, helpful and courteous, it was themed very well (a clean diner-​like atmosphere complete with mini juke-​boxes), and the food was excellent. Everything came out hot, fresh, and delicious! Got the sweet potato fries, Bacon cheese burger, and the Double Rocket burger.
With my past work history, I can always tell if the business as a whole is being properly run or if its just a golden employee. I can confidently say that the manager and staff here are running like a well oiled machine! Great job and keep up the great work. We will be back next time we are in the area.

Staying at the Marriott in Manhattan Beach and at the end of a long day of workshops for a conference I just wanted to flop in my bed instead of braving the crowds of Saturday night dining.
I called Johnny Rockets for pick up dinner and in the 5 min between calling and walking over my food was ready. Clearly, my eyes were bigger than my stomach because their portions were huge and I couldn’t finish.
I ordered chili cheese fries — yum. The Houston burger (spicy) — yum. Onion rings — standard amount of yum (they were normal rings).
It was worth the money and calories for dinner. :)

The Manhattan Beach location is the best I’ve been to so far. The food tastes fresh and is never watery, just juicy! The Turkey burgers are the best tasting and probably better than the Veggie burger as far as taste and nutrition. For the true hamburger fan, the original is the way to go, an save some room for a shake and pie. bring some coins for old school music from the jukebox, and you’ll hopefully hear your song before finishing your meal…
