Nadine’s UYE At Pancho’s Restaurant

Thank you to Steve O for selecting this place for Nadine’s bash. Ponchos was a great choice. Great seeing Nadine, Yuri, Tim, Jennifer, Kenzie. And meeting Steve O and Rick R. It was a fun Sunday in Manhattan Beach starting with Ponchos, then Bonaventura Gelato, Manhattan Beach Creamery then Peet’s Coffee. Great time hanging with these folks. Thanks again Steve.

There is free 2 hour street parking for the holidays. That’s a good deal! We took pictures of the sunset and the pier. .wish we had more time to go closer to the beach and browse the shops. We mainly focused on food…
The FIRST venue was Pancho’s, a famous Mexican restaurant. It was perfect because there’s a lot of seating, upstairs and downstairs! The interior was so festive with holiday decorations!
The service was excellent! We asked for a lot and got everything — more water, extra plates for sharing, take out boxes, etc. The food was great! I thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary chips and my Taquitos. I tried Mole for the first time! Interesting! Plus, when you check in on your Unilocal app, you get a free Fried Ice Cream (which Kenzie enjoyed)!
The SECOND venue was Bonaventure Gelato where the flavors are true and the texture is creamy. The Kids Cup for $ 4 was excellent because you can have 2 flavors! I liked the Pecan Whiskey more than the Almond flavor. I had a feeling that whiskey would taste better with ice cream!
The THIRD venue was Manhattan Beach Creamery which is way more than an ice cream shop. Yikes! They have every sweet you can imagine: all types of candy, cupcakes, cookies, macarons, frozen bananas, popbars, etc. There were even Hello Kitty bags, lunch boxes and fans! I had a scoop of Toasted Coconut ice cream. .so ono… loved chewing on the flakes of coconut! Mmmm!
The FOURTH venue was Peet’s Coffee. Thanks to Jennifer who shared her coupons with us! We enjoyed the Peppermint Hot Cocoa and chatted until after closing. .When the chairs and tables were taken inside. .
