Great service, nice decór, atmosphere, and of course the food! Only thing I would say is that it is a little overpriced, good food but you will feel like it costs more than it should. (Ex, 18 $ quesadillas, tacos, 14 $ guacamole, 3.50 for drinks)

Don’t waste your money or time! Chicken Quesadilla was $ 17.00 and a single taco with no rice and beans for $ 16.00. Food was just ok. The bill came to us with our food and drinks and 2 other entrees. Not even someone else’s bill, but an embellished bill! Margaritas were ok, but not any better than one from El Toritos. Worst thing was the valet ripped us off. They gave us a ticket, we got it validated but then when I gave them the tip, they said no, it was $ 4.50 for service. Why then did they validate the ticket? Not certain but certain about their rude behavior! Will never go there again!

While the food was ok it is way too expensive for a Mexican food and quality of food and presentation was average.

About 35 of us went there on Monday 2÷15÷2016 to celebrate 2 co-workers Birthday. The food was good it’s the Valet service, the sign read $ 2.75 so a few of us wanted to pay right then but the Valet said No on your way out. After 2hours we are informed it will be $ 4.75 with validation or $ 20 without. It’s the Greed of $ 2 and they tried to hide the signed

I really liked this place! I thought the food was great and my sister-in-law absolutely loved her margarita! The atmosphere was chill and they even have a mariachi band that comes around to the tables. It was a little tight and crowded but that’s to be expected for this location on a Friday night! They accommodated my baby wonderfully and our Mexican servers were great-spirited and seemed to be having fun and enjoying their jobs! Finding parking, however, was impossible. But we will definitely go back to this place! So glad we checked it out:))

Pancho’s has been a constant throughout my life. Although I don’t remember some of the early years I’ve been going there for(almost) 31 years… so they must be doing something right. The food is always amazing. The margaritas are amazing. But the real draw is the atmosphere and the friendliness of the entire staff. They even went as far as to help this gringo with his High School Spanish homework. If you’re in the area give this place a try, you will regret not going. Try: Shrimp Diabla Puffy Tacos with a Naughty Maggie.

When my wife was alive, this was our favorite place. I’ve been coming here since the mid 1980s, and have yet to have a bad experience. The food is excellent, but you do pay for it. It’s not cheap, perhaps the most expensive Mexican food I’ve had. But it’s worth the price. The margaritas are fantastic, and the décor is beautiful. Only drawback is the parking, which sucks pretty much everywhere in Manhattan Beach. But I can’t fault the restaurant for that.

I love this place. I got engaged here during one point of my life… LOL The service is outstanding, and I enjoy their Mexican dishes. it is a little pricey, but what did you expect in this side of the hood and close to the beach. Life doesn’t get any better… Margaritas, authentic Mexican food, and excellent customer service coupled with great company… well, Mijas and Mijos, life is VERY good. Oh, and guys and girls, if you check in you get a free deep fried ice cream, which was very, very good because it was big enough to split it with our great company. On another note, the Happy Hour bartender is such a great guy. Hooked up my mom with a diabetic Margarita… hahaha…thanks for helping us out and making my mom feel better. It made her day.

I loved the décor the second I walked in, came for lunch at it was pretty empty but it was also Tuesday afternoon. The food was average. I got the sopa de tortilla and it was by far the greasiest soup i had ever had in my life. The Diablo sauce isn’t spicy at all. The taco shells are yummy tho. I just think you can get more substance and authentic Mexican food at so many other places in LA for a better price. Average meal was $ 17… For mediocre food. I give it 3 stars bc service was good and the interior is gorgeous.

Bleh. Came here on a date on a Friday afternoon.(Guys: Don’t bring girls here on afternoon dates). The place was dead, but staffed and ready for patrons. We headed to the bar area, which is dark and kitschy and there is a nice older gent bartending. He served us our Margs and brought over chips and salsa. While we sat, I noticed there was no music… and there was small boy playing with the light switches, compulsively turning them on and off while his parents watched on. The lights were directly hitting my face. No one seemed to notice or say anything. It made a no ambiance room, go to crappy ambiance. The margaritas were ok, although strong. The chips and salsa were forgettable. I can’t attest for a different time of day, but I will say that with a beautiful backdrop like manhattan beach, why would you want to go into a dark cave like restaurant with mediocre food? Not my jam.

Nice little Mexican restaurant came here tonight for dinner for a fellow Unilocaler visiting us here from Hawaii. Service and staff very friendly and fun. The chips and salsa were great you can def get full just off that lol. A good selection of Mexican dishes i ended up getting the cheese enchilada which was good. When checking in you get a free fried ice cream but if you have a big group they won’t honor everyone in the group we had 9 people and only were able to get 3. Parking they have valet parking if you can’t find street parking or parking in the structure across the way. Dining seats are on two levels. Nice place to come with a group.

The food here is wildly overpriced and mediocre at best, generally pretty heavy and sloppy/greasy with lots of sauces. The drinks are generally decent, with solid margaritas and a deep tequila selection. It’s a beautiful place to eat, particularly downstairs in the main dining room. A very pleasant atmosphere and the staff are quite friendly. They have a fun karaōke night(or maybe two days a week?) in the upstairs bar/lounge area. But again, it’s expensive to eat and drink here. And there are times when the crowd that Panchos attracts is, shall we say, less than optimal. Overall, it’s a fun spot if you don’t mind leaving with your wallet a bit lighter.

EXCELLENTSERVICEHANDSDOWN DOSXXONDRAFT. Amazing service … The bar area has an amazing bartender Luis … I will be back again… I’m a server and when you don’t have to continue to ask for the obvious(like chips and salsa) makes the experience that much better …

Let me start off by saying this place is pricey for lunch. You will spend about $ 15-$ 17 a plate and up. That’s not including a drink, tax, or tip. That’s the downside. This restaurant was opened before I was born with a prime location on a busy street of Manhattan Beach. You can easily walk to the beach from here. There is a lot in which they will valet your car for you. But we normally park at the meters on the street. The restaurant itself has amply seating area with a separate bar. I have always been quickly seated during lunch and find it rather empty. I’m sure the prices play a big part in it. The portions here are rather large. I like to order Pancho’s Combo. It comes with a beef taco, cheese(or meat) enchilada, and a chile relleno. I like to order the refried beans although the black beans are tasty too. The rice is nicely cooked and not all dried out like other places. I have never finished this plate in one sitting. Normally I eat my taco and I’m good. I’ll take home my enchilada and chile relleno for the next day. There’s a bald server, and I can’t recall his name. But he’s more attentive than the other waiters I’ve had here. He will pack your food for you and check up on you throughout the meal.

I have mixed feelings about Pancho’s or maybe I have mixed drinks about feelings. Either way, give me a menu with an excessive amount of food options and I will:(i) go straight to the alcohol or(ii) go hungry and possibly starve to death –_– After exchanging the infamous«What are you going to order?» around the table, I FINALLY decided on the beef taco and chicken tamale combo plate. The food is served on beautiful Talavera plates. The flavors were tasty with sizable portions(Mexican rice and beans included). The décor is like walking through a lush garden with scores of Christmas lights strewn into the foliage. There are Poinsettia paintings and picture frames on the walls with an overall rustic Mexican feel. Fried ice cream is free with Unilocal check-in but passable(corn flakes were stale). Love the complimentary chips and salsa. Highly recommend trying any of their classic or flavored margaritas(the pomegranate, ahem). Finally, the prices are high for Mexican cuisine, but this is Manhattan Beach(case in point). Overall rating: 3.5 stars

Just took my nephew and his girlfriend for his 20th birthday today for lunch at Panchos. Very disappointed with the service however food was delicious. We were greeted by a hostess who did not smile.. The place smells like bleach. Notify the server of the birthday celebration but it never came to fruition. The service was so slow that we had to leave without the sombrero song and any acknowledgement from the server. The busboy was more attentive then the server. Also, the prices were outrageous. $ 16 for a carne asada quesadilla. E entrée and an iced tea was $ 60.00 later did I mention for lunch. 1215ish to be exact. And because of that I will not be back to this place. PRO. Food and porrion, atmosphere CON; Service

I came here with my work mates for happy hour. I order a skinny margarita and the first two were okay, boarding good. As the night progressed the margaritas got worse which is backwards since more drinks should equal lower standards. Others ordered a jalapeño and kiwi margarita which was liked. For food we ordered: Ceviche– The fish chunks were on the large side which prevented the lime juices from fully soaking in making the dish bland. Artichoke or mushroom quesadilla– Only one person enjoyed it. Beef taquitos– Beef was seasoned well and the tortilla was flaky. Delicious. Although the waitress seemed annoyed, was slow and my margaritas were so-so I still like the place. I’ll give this place another try for dinner.

What can I say the drinks were very good and strong. It did take a while for the bartender to get to the table in the waiting area. He was swamped with alot of people sitting around the bar, and he was the only bartender. At least I can say when I finally got my drink which was a pomegranate margarita with salt around the rim, it was very good and strong. I order another one, then another one then whoop I lost count. Just joking. I only had 3. I had to make sure he could duplicate his work and It was taco tuesday and 2 days before 2014 ended. Why not. :) They have happy hour prices. Which included those margaritas. The happy hours was 50 percent off of selected appetizers. So i order a chicken quesadilla. It was cheesy, enough chicken and good. Karaokoe was about to start at 8:00pm. But I had started pretty early, I say like 4ish. Yeah! I had a nice little put me to sleep buzz.
