The absolute best place to get pointe shoes. Ms. Judy is the greatest!
I just started Pointe about three months ago. My teacher sent me to Grishko to see Judy to get fitted. She takes her time when fitting pointe shoes to really see what shoe is best for you. I was fitted for the Grishko 2007. I had no pain when wearing them. The only problem if my feet are too strong for the shank I got (Super soft) but next time I know to get the harder shank. They are all very helpful and will order shoes if they don’t have them in stock.
The store is very clean, neat and organized. It is also very bright.
They also have all sorts of tutu’s, costumes, shoes, and accessories displayed. I love the colored pointe shoes.
While pointe shoes are expensive, they are worth every penny. They are extremely well made and fit perfectly (when you find the right pair).
This is definitely the place to get fitted for pointe shoes!

I love coming here, I wear Grishko pointe shoes and since I’m an apprentice in rehearsals all day I come often to buy shoes, the woman remembers me and is really sweet and accomodating and if they don’t have exactly what you’re looking for, they’ll work hard to find something that will come close. It’s teeny, but they their inventory is surprisingly large! I love it, really helpful.

I love this place! It’s on the second floor and looks pretty small, but it’s packed full of gems. Definitely worth visiting. Last time I was there, I witnessed a dance mom going full diva while her embarrassed daughter tried to blend into the wall. The saleslady was a seasoned pro and didn’t bat an eye. That’s how you know it’s quality – all the crazy dance moms go.

I went to Grishko yesterday to have a pointe shoe fitting. The store is small and there are two people on staff (male and female). They have a great sense of humor, are very personable, and a pleasure to be around. In addition, they know exactly what they’re doing. I was fitted for shoes by the female (don’t recall her name) – she was by far the best pointe shoe fitter I’ve ever been to. She knew what to look for and what to fit you with in and out. They also carried all of the Grishko shoes in an endless array of lengths, widths, and sizes.
This is the best dance store I’ve ever been to (and I’ve been to quite a few).
