This review is only for their ice cream and shakes. It’s really, really good! Tastes very fresh every time, and they claim that they make it fresh everyday so perhaps that’s why. Also, nice selection of toppings.

If you’ve ever eaten at Sonic, then I don’t have to tell you about the food here… it’s not 5-​star quality, but it’s decent drive-​thru fare. The reason I give it two stars is because of the TERRIBLE service. I lived in Manhattan for 3 years and my sister lives there now. There are a few employees that have been there for as long as we can both remember and they are absolutely terrible. They have terrible attitudes and it makes the process very frustrating.

It’s a long drive from Manhattan to Kansas City. A route 44 cherry limeade is a refreshing way to sip through the drive. Conveniently located near the freeway, this is a great place to stop for a soda pop or burger. The service is good, but be wary of the lines in the afternoon. Happy hour – half off drinks – from 1400 – 1600.
