Who does the ordering for this store? Always out of things! Very unreliable, usually a waste of time.

I received an email saying 25% off a lunch item and decided to use it on a panini today. I show the cashier the email and she didn’t even bother to look it. All she said was,“okay… What is it?” And rolled her eyes. It seems to me like she had an attitude problem and didn’t want to bother with it. Usually I’ve had no problems at this location but after today i will not be returning.

What happened to this store? I take the ferry for college so I pass here when I get off the train station… Last semester, the baristas at this store was amazing. They were kind and made drinks correctly… today, my first day back to classes, I’m seeing baristas with their cell phones on the floor, no apron on, not writing cups correctly and ultimately not making drinks correctly!!! I personally am a fan of the Strawberry Açaí Refresher, so I ordered it. The barista didn’t shake it she just made it in the cup which isnt really a problem for me… until I saw that she put wayyy too little water in the cup so it tastes way too sweet and I asked for extra extra ice, and it wasn’t indicated on the cup so she had 1 cm of the whole entire grande cup wih just ice… she can’t make drinks, the guy at the register doesn’t write names on the cups… Looks like I’m going to walk a little further for the store down the street…

Mopped the floor, coughed in her hand, then prepared and served us coffee. Whats missing from this sequence? Enough said!

Worst customer service. Wanted to redeem a reward drink on a Sunday afternoon when there was almost zero customers in the store. After I got my free venti frappuccino and was about to step out, the girl accused me of not paying and shouting at me. So I went back and let her scan the card. There was around $ 3 left on my card. Guess what. She managed to charge the remaining balance of my card PLUS redeemed my free drink. I didn’t realize it until an late hour. Seriously? Will never return to this Starbucks again.

This is the friendliest Starbucks in the entire fidi, but always swamped with tourist looking for a reprieve. Coffee always fresh and my flat white is an actual flat white, not a faux latte filled with the 2−3″ of foamy grossness.

I wish there was such a thing as 0 stars because this place sucks… the worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to. I usually try to be nice during morning rush hour because my friends have worked at Starbucks before and I’ve heard so many stories about working there during the morning. But I don’t think the employees at this one even care that there are like 20 people in line trying to make it to work on time with a coffee. How do you make someone wait 15 minutes for a tall hot tea? You don’t even have to make anything!

The achilles heel of the Starbucks menu is the food. Trying to use up some gift cards, I found the croissant to be cold, dry and unflakey.

What a friendly and clean place! These young people, Brittany, Cass, Eerie, Amand, Zaida, Paul, David the list goes on are ALL exceptional in maintaining the friendliest and cleanest Starbucks I have ever been in — filled & spotless milk bar and counters! Even when there is a long line, everyone waits — but not for long. The staff jumps into ‘turbo mode’ and everyone is sipping and smiling in short order! I am greeted with a smile every morning and again in the afternoon — what can I say they made me a Starbucks addict! There are closer Starbucks in proximity to my office but not in service with a real smile and a perfect drink EVERY time! They know how to make people feel comfortable — especially all the throngs of tourists that are either going to or coming from the Statute of Liberty, lol.

Love Starbucks, can’t stand this location. It just so happens that it is right next to my office. The service here is SOINCREDIBLYSLOW!!! And to add to that, everyone behind the counter acts as if there isn’t a line of 30 people here. They dick around, not caring if you stand in line for 20 min for a tall pike. Go to another location!!! THISONESUCKS

Dirty store, unfriendly staff, no bathroom… One of the worst Starbucks I have seen.

Long lines and some of the workers are just plain lazy. They pretty much just sat around talking to each other. Too much jibber jabber and not enough brewin of the teas. Another downside to this Starbucks is that there aren’t any restrooms that are opened to the public. As anyone knows coffee is a diarrhetic. So having a restroom would be useful.

The slowest Starbucks I have ever been to. I typically hate Starbucks so the fact that my coworkers like it and I was in need of a walk and decided to go and get some coffee for the office made me 1) angry because it’s Starbucks and 2) okay feeling because it meant I got to take a walk. When I arrived, the line was already beginning to go out the door… At 4PM. I stood in line, tapped my foot, and waited and waited until it was finally my turn. The barista was okay but the person handling the register needs to learn to swipe cards faster and give back change quicker than counting one penny at a time. Verrrry slow which is verrrry bad when you need to get back to work. Good thing I’m not a fan of burnt coffee.

Okay Starbucks, with a tiny little bit of seating. Staff are normal speed, and this location isn’t one of the super speedy over-trafficked spots. There is NORESTROOM at this location. Drinks come out fine, and I’ve never had issues.

Stopped by this starbucks location in the morning on my way to a agency function. Its very busy during this time and there was a line that never stopped. I am not a coffee lover but I love starbucks hot apple cider. This morning I had a breakfast sandwich which required a bit of a wait but it was delish and a good change from the old mickey d’s hockey puck breakfast options. The service is very friendly as well but the location is pretty small.

Friendly efficient staff in the morning tries their best to keep the massive line moving. Still, be prepared to wait, especially if you happen to catch it when a Staten Island Ferry arrives. Non-peak service is a little slower. There are a few chairs in the back of the store but don’t expect to have space to sit as it’s usually packed!

Nice location, and friendly staff. The girl put ice in my chocolate milk(really, woman!!!) but then she was nice about it when I asked her to change it. The plump guy at the counter, was super shocked when I asked is they had a veggie sandwich without eggs even — as if those things cannot exist. As I had imagined, there wasn’t such a thing int he Starbucks dictionary, but I’m grateful to the guy for NOT staring at me like an alien who asked for a human blood smoothie or something. lol! Love the proximity of this place to my office. will be back for my choc milk and hopefully they will remember it takes NOICE!

I stopped in this smaller Starbucks for parade fuel on the morning of the Giants Super Bowl Parade. I actually went out of my way, abandoned my boyfriend in our prime parade spot(with instructions to «stand wide»), and walked several blocks to find this Starbucks. The staff was very efficient. The line was long — but I was the only one dressed in parade gear. One of the employees was going down the line, asking drink orders in advance. I shouted my first order, then waited until I got to the counter for my second. «Name?» «JoAnna, again.» «Thanks.» The barista was even calling some of the regular customers by name, which was nice to see. While I waited for my drinks, I was standing next to a very impatient girl fidgeting & mumbling under her breath. I peeked at her phone(don’t judge), and she was updating her Facebook & Twitter statuses with something to the effect of: «I hate these [bleeping] parade goers! Don’t they have anything better to do? Go the [bleep] back to bed! You’re slowing me down!» and so on. Now, I know this has nothing to do with the Starbucks itself, but it does say something about this location’s clientele. Plus, I was the only«parade» person inside. So, there’s that. Shortly afterward, my drinks were ready. One was for Joann, the other for Fran. Sure. I grabbed them & hustled back to my spot along Broadway. I took a sip of my 3-Splenda raspberry latte — eww? Something was off about it. Either they forgot the Splenda, or didn’t add enough raspberry syrup. Whatever it was, I’m just glad that I’m never downtown enough to make this Starbucks a regular stop. I can dismiss a crabby customer, but it’s hard to dismiss a poorly-crafted latte.

Well as far as Starbucks goes, lets just say that this is one of the more touristy ones around. Certainly the place lacks that atmosphere of the newer Starbucks in town. Everything is just, well, average. As a local, it’s my last ditch stop when I am desperate for overpriced coffee.

This Starbucks handles mostly a work crowd, but they deal with weekend tourists with aplomb. There’s a modicum of seating, but their bathroom queue takes awhile since everyone and their mother is always trying to go. If you’re around Battery Park, they’ll do if you just want to pop in and out. Friendly staff.
