The PE Club

My first class here was a TRX training class with Nedra and I loved it! The class size was pretty small (only about 6 people) which meant Nedra was really on top of form corrections.

I have taken some really awesome classes at PE Club! The classes are really small (8 people max) so you get clear directions and corrections if you are doing a position incorrectly, which I really appreciate. The teachers have always been super upbeat and informative, explaining exactly how certain exercises target specific areas and how you should feel as you work them. The TRX classes are great and challenging. Highly recommend!!!

The PE Club is hands down my favorite studio in the city. Front desk staff are extremely welcoming and friendly, and Bryan, Nedra and Morgana are fantastic instructors that truly care about their clients. Their TRX classes are the best I have taken — they are extremely challenging yet fun. There are certain classes in the city I dread going to, but I can honestly say I have never dreaded walking into a class here. The studio is pristine and very well-​organized. I recently moved out of the city so I unfortunately haven’t been in a while, but this studio is definitely on my list of «5 things I miss most about NYC!»

Great, class. PE Club goes by so quickly and I’m always so sore the next day. The use of TRX makes the class really fun and not tedious. One of my favorite workout classes in the city.

Enjoyed my early morning TRX Kettlebell class before work. Morgana was motivating and the workout definitely made me sweat! We did various exercises in a circuit, including body weight work with gliders; kettlebell swings; overhead kettlebell presses; TRX chest presses and tricep extensions and bicep curls, etc. A great workout and a nice 5 minute stretch/​cool-​down at the end, which I deeply appreciated. I hate when the cool-​down and stretching is truncated. The studio is small but welcoming. There’s a little lounge area right in the front; an area with some treadmills and foam rollers; an area where private training takes place; then the group class room. There are 2 bathrooms that have a shower stall with Malin & Goetz products. All-​in-​all, I will come back to check out another class.

I go to The PE Club all the time and the classes are great! I love the TRX and Kettle-​bell classes. All of the instructors are very professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend checking out a class!

I trained with Nedra (co-​founder) for my wedding for six months and she completely transformed by body. I lost nearly 10 pounds plus many inches and she helped me get that wedding day figure I always hoped for. She was dedicated to me, patient and together we developed a plan for each session, but also for the week so I never had to think about my fitness routine outside of our weekly training. She is also extremely available — I always used to text her questions and she always answered right away! I also love the TRX classes and Long and Lean! One of my favorite gyms around! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

PE Club is as good as it gets for small group training in the UES! Classes are small and focused, so the trainer can help align you and make sure you’re doing the exercises right. I enjoy the TRX Kettlebell Circuit — it goes quickly and I can’t walk afterwards, but it’s definitely making a difference. I’ve also taken the long and lean class, which was similar to a yoga/​pilates class. If you can, take a class with Miriam!
Facilities: Showers are nice, a little awkward that the bathroom is in the studio and you need to walk through a class when you finish, but compared to other small studios in the area I’ll take it!

Such a great place to be. The staff are all well trained, funny and motivating. They have creative classes and I feel great every time I leave there.

I adore Nedra and Alex. They’re great people — always positive and motivated. The gym itself is beautiful, really clean and well maintained. The classes are fun and really make you push yourself. I highly recommend!

I can honestly say that coming to the PE Club changed my life. I was the kind of person that always tries to stay in shape, but I usually got bored with classes at other gyms to the point where I would let my 10-​pass cards expire. Not so at the PE Club. The classes are fun, they help you with adjustments in case you need something easier for a particular movement, the place is spotless clean, the teachers are motivating, the equipment is new and I could go on and on. If I don’t show up for 2 weeks for classes, they email to make sure that I’m okay! The group classes are very small, so you get a lot of feedback and tips how to improve. The music is always updated and keeps you going. They really make sure that fitness becomes part of you life in a fun way.

I love love The PE Club! I found them on ClassPass and I go all the time! The owners are a super nice couple that really get to know the clients. Even though I cant afford to come more than ClassPass allows me to, they know my name, and are aways very sweet. One of my favorite instructors in the city is there — Bryan Jarrett. I usually go to his or Nedra’s classes. I was a workout newbie when first starting and Kevin’s Strength Balance and Recovery class really allowed for a smooth transition into harder classes. Sad I am moving soon and wont be able to come anymore!

Great classes at this studio. I have taken trx and kettle bell classes and they are both great. The studio is clean and has nice, new equipment. Bryan is the best!

Nedra and Alex run an amazing boutique gym. It’s modern, clean but more importantly they are a pleasure to be around. The classes are fabulous and small– they really keep you moving. I love how personal the classes feel– 8 or 9 people. Bryan is also a fabulous instructor!
The personal training is also very customized. Couldn’t ask for a better alternative to the otherwise obnoxious and intimidating options out there on the UES!

I first tried the PE Club a few weeks ago when Exhale was eliminated from FitReserve out of the blue one day. So far, so good. have had great instructors, and the classes are small so we’re not all jammed in there (That ruins a workout!). Also, it’s clean and the instructors are always wiping down the mats after class (At Exhale, everyone just throws them into a pile-​no wipes).

I absolutely love The P.E. Club! Bryan is an incredible instructor and the personal attention you get in each workout, is unique and beneficial to each person who takes a class at the studio. No matter what level you area at, the instructor makes you feel comfortable and confident. I cannot get enough of it!

I love Nedra & Alex. All their staff (Kevin, Bryan, Morgana and Holly) are superbly trained and clearly love their job because they are happy and joyful people who motivate and inspire with every class cue, even when your abs or thighs are dying. Nedra has a fun sense of humor in class and pushes you to your limits in a safe, playful and non-​injurious way. She knows her anatomy and always makes sure she is on you for good alignment. I highly recommend this boutique studio to all my friends and clients. As a yoga studio owner myself I know how hard it is to keep standards high hence my immense respect for The PE Club and their excellent standards of service.

Clearly if you have been here you agree that Nedra and Alex are such an amazing team! The cleanliness is next to Godliness… The trainers and workouts are a kick ass… The machines are all new and kept to prescribe conditions… The décor is fabulous, yet simplistic and roomy… And last but not least, the energy and vibe just puts anyone in the right state of mind to come in with a focus intent and leave with win/​win attitude! Thank you guys and please make one in Florida! Delray Beach, preferably!

LOVE love love classes with Bryan at the PE Club. He is so energetic and positive that I *almost* don’t notice how hard I’m working. I’ve taken a few of the TRX circuit classes as well as a Kettlebell class. Both were were challenging but scale-​able and Bryan kept everyone motivated along the way. He also really paid attention to form and after getting to know me and seeing me improve over the weeks he called me out when it was time to up the resistance which is not something you get at bigger gyms.
As someone who was not an athlete growing up and is just really getting into shape for the first time in my life, it makes a huge difference when instructors are motivating and not mean — there’s a difference between pushing someone and just yelling at them. After trying another small studio that was a little closer to my apartment, I had a terrible experience in not being able to keep up and being discouraged by the instructor for not being in the same shape as people who had obviously been working out a lot more regularly that I had been. Bryan has NEVER made me feel that way and because of this I stuck with it and I’ve lost inches and my cardio endurance is better than it’s ever been in my life!

I’m surprised this place doesn’t have more reviews! I found this gem of a studio on Classpass and booked a TRX class with Morgana. The space is stocked with new equipment and has a room in the back for classes.
The class was fun and adaptable for all levels. Loved the upper body component and found it really challenging. Morgana was also a sweetheart and had a great sense of humor.
Definitely give PE Club a chance!
