I work close to the Canes in Mansfield. Every time I go in there they are always very nice and the chicken is top notch. For those of you that have not tried it. I highly recommend going!

So disappointed by this location. I ordered«the box» meal and an additional 3pc meal. I requested an extra sauce in place of the coleslaw that the box meal comes with. I love canes and visit the location in Arlington all the time so I didn’t think I had to check my order since the Arlington location has never screwed it up. Well when I got home and got ready to eat, they had given me two 3pc meals and not even the extra sauce I requested was in there. I checked the receipt just in case they had rung it up wrong but the receipt matched my original order. I called the manager and he offered to pay for my «box» meal if I came back that’s why I gave it 2 stars instead of one.

My virgin-visit to Raising Cane’s based on a recommendation to the wifey from a friend. Her accolades doth exclaim«the Cane sauce is so good you’ll want to drink it» or something to that affect. Needless to say it wasn’t drinkable-quality but it was good. Think of it as a southwestern-ranch without the heat or almost like a 1000 island. Anywho. the ravings about the sauce should have been warning enough for moi about the chicken-fingers I was about to eat. While the fingers exhibited a fantastic freshness(NOT frozen, not pre-cooked or pre-breaded), they simply lacked any flavor. They«LOOKED» like they’d be packing some serious salivation-factor yumminess but unfortunately, they were quite bland. I can now see why people like the sauce so much(hint: because you need it). The breading itself was perfectly added so that it stayed on the meat, didn’t flake off and wasn’t so overpacked that you needed claw-crackers to get through it. Well done on the coverage. The fries — crinkle cut and cooked to a prefect crispiness, were a bit salty but not enough to influence my overall impression. They were very tasty though. The meal also came with a slab of bread and some cole slaw. Oh yeah. the meal consisted of 4 chicken fingers. The portion was perfect for 2 of us wanting a snack and the cost, if I remember correctly, was around 10 bucks The restaurant itself was very clean, modern and well-staffed. The service folks were very friendly and interactive which I appreciate. If they could only bring a little flavor to that breading, I’d be a regular
