My wife and I ate here on Sunday night for dinner and I got food poisoning! So far I have missed two days of work! We have eaten at numerous locations and never had any problems until now. The cleanliness of this location was horrible and we thought it was because they might have been really busy and couldn’t catch up. I would be be cautious when coming to this location! You have been warned!

Ladies and gentlemen firstly I must say that the sausage, turkey and ribs were pretty good. The turkey was tender. I mean overall not bad. Not amazing but not bad. I think the amount of ribs and brisket was disappointing for the price, and they were pretty stingy with the barbecue sauce. The corn was disgusting and watery, I love corn so this was sad. The potato salad and Mac n cheese was… Average. The beans and the rolls were not good! Honestly id rather go to Walmart and buy their potato salad, Mac and cheese ready made. King Hawaiian rolls and Bush’s beans. And I bet even with a whole rack of ribs it’ll still be less than $ 41. Let me add that the lady who was handing out the free rolls was very unhappy and seemed to be hating her job. Honestly when she came up to the table asking if we’d like a roll I was slightly scared for my life. Don’t let that lady near any sharp utensils.

First time here. Wasn’t expecting a cafeteria-like setting but the service was great as well as the food! The smell from the smoker was also amazing!

For years we have enjoyed the barbecue from spring creek at the arlington location. However, since the kitchen fire we have had to drive a little further to the mansfield location anytime we are craving the delicious brisket. Up until now, the food has been decent but never as good as the Arlington location. Today our service was abysmal. We ordered a pound and a half of sliced brisket, a dozen rolls, a pint of barbecue sauce and enough peppers and onions etc for 6. What we recieved was chopped brisket instead of sliced, 6 burnt rolls, 6 what seemed to be half baked rolls, 2 rings of purple onions, and 1 of each kind of pepper. To top it all off, both the meat and rolls were cold. This location normally just gives us half of the barbecue sauce we order which we kind of shrug off because we can still make due but this entire order was terrible. Please re-open the Arlington location soon because you will not have our business until then.

Cafeteria style serving, watery sauce, questionable brisket, but tasty rolls and friendly staff. These are a few things to expect at Spring Creek Barbeque. I also had an embarrassing moment when I asked where the sauce was while I pointed to the gravy and the soup. Nope, that’s actually the BBQ sauce? Who knew. To top it all off, it was over $ 40 for 3 meals! Ridiculousness! The rest of my family said they were pleased with the baked potatoes and ham. And rolls.

We go to Spring Creek BBQ in Mansfield often and it is consistently very good. However, last night was a great disappointment. The BBQ, and vegetables were cold. We asked the bread server to let the manager know and she said she would. That was the last contact we had with any employee. Normally we clean our plates, however last night we left half a plate and left. The ribs, turkey, brisket, mac and cheese, and pinto beans were cold. Rolls were good, customer service and food was less than average

The rolls here are excellent, everything else was underwhelming. It costed $ 17 for a meal and a Coke which I thought was too much money for what we received. Nothing was terrible, there is just no reason for us to return. I would rather go to Big D BBQ, same quality of food at a lower price.

Favorite thing about spring creek is their hot rolls… but the past couple times I’ve been to this location their rolls have been burnt on the top. not soft, buttery and fluffy as they use to be before): fix this please ! Quality over quantity !!!

Went here for dinner at 9 and we hadn’t even finished eatting when they started cleaning up for closing time which is at 10pm. We left since we felt a bit rushed seeing as they were about to close but then we realized at 9:45 that the employees had decide to close 30 minutes early. Very disappointed in their customers service.

The spring creek barbecue in Mansfield used to be our«go to» place but in the last year something bad has continued to happen. It started with not so tasty chicken and progressed to old unattended vegetables. A Dirty Buffet line has greeted us the last 2 months. Our last chicken dinner I could not eat. They were running low on chicken on a Friday at 8:00 and I got the next to last one. It was so smoky that it tasted like wood and was VERY undercooked. I sure hope someone gets hold of this location because it needs lots of help. About 2 yrs ago the chicken was tasty, and the vegetables were all you could ask for and a great atmosphere.

It’s the same as all those other spring creek places. I love the food here. When ordering, order the brisket moist; its a tad fattier but so good and better than their regular brisket. The chicken wasn’t bad and I like the unlimited amount of sides we can get. I usually get potato salad. The rolls are delicious, especially the ones that are just out of the oven. A worker would walk around and offer more rolls and I can never say no. The peach cobbler with ice cream is also really good. Would definitely visit again!

Came to Spring Creek for a Sisterhood Event for my sorority. Food is served Cafeteria style where you pick your protein and then grab your sides. So you tell them what type of barbecue then they put it on the plate you move down the line to pick your sides… Baked beans, mac and cheese, green beans with bacon, corn, coleslaw, potato salad, other fixings such as onions, pickles and other pickled items. Desserts are displayed also… but of course no prices. When you’ve gotten everything you’ve wanted on you try then you ring up to pay. Food:For BBQ it was okay. mediocre nothing entirely special. The brisket was nice tender and juicy melt in your mouth feel. The Traditional sausage was just plain not spice no flavor it was just blah… but of course dipping it in there BBQ made all the difference. The rolls were pretty good soft fluffy… and they even pass out fresh rolls to your table. The sides: all were just okay nothing special just your traditional bbq sides. although the bonus is is that you get unlimited sides. Only bad thing is you have to cut through the opposite way of the line ask for a new plate and the fill it with your sides. Overall Spring Creek is decent for BBQ is it going to be my go to place I texas? Probably not but it did satisfy the craving for BBQ that weekend.

This location is close to my office, so we have come to pick up lunch here a few times. Sadly, we have not found the time or occasion to stay and sit to eat, but that’s on our to-do list. The staff here have been incredibly friendly and spot-on with my orders, even when I have multiple orders at once. I’ve had the turkey, okra, and macaroni and cheese. The turkey was really good, and I love that their bbq sauce has a bit of a kick! The restrooms are clean, there’s plenty of parking, and the food is affordable. We will be back!

Consistently good. Never had a bad meal here but certainly not my top choice for BarBQ– Stanley’s in Tyler & Salt Lick are better. For a chain/franchise operation they do really well. They focus on service and deliver consistently. They have even delivered to Medical offices for me & did a great job. My last trip in was Friday night with two of my guy friends and we all enjoyed what we got, including cobbler & Blue Bell!

Overpriced mediocrity. I’ve eaten here twice before, as I always try to visit a place at least 3 times before reviewing. There’s really nothing special about the food here and the customer service is only there because it has to be. The BBQ sauce is a little watery and does not really add much flavor. The black pepper sausage was good. The beans tasted like they weren’t soaked long enough(a little crunchy). The restaurant has a nice atmosphere but the layout is a little ass backwards. To get drink refills you have to go back and cut in the main ordering line reaching over other people’s food. This place is priced to high for the quality and you cannot have fries as a side item, you have to order a separate basket. Probably won’t be back unless someone has a school event or birthday party and we’re obligated to go.

Wow! Great food. Generous servings. Wonderful relaxed atmosphere. Far better experience than expected. These people really make you feel welcome and cared for. This will become a regular place for relaxing evenings out.

My wife and I were in the Mansfield area. We decided to stop in for some que. My wife ordered a brisket sandwich and I ordered a plate of ribs. Both of our meats were moist and tender. The line staff is very friendly and accommodating. Spring Creek’s rolls are warm and delicious. Spring Creek’s sides are good as well. They offer a nice variety.

Spring Creek is a great place to get your BBQ fix. I wasn’t wowed at first but it has really grown on me. The turkey is delicious with a great smokey flavor and is always tender and juicy. The brisket and sausage are also very good. I’ve tried several of the sides and they’ve all been great. The Mac and Cheese is probably my favorite. It’s very cheesy and tastes homemade, not instant like the mac and cheese at most chain restaurants. The Potato Salad and Green Beans are yummy too. The best part is the hot fresh bread! They give you a roll when you order and then every 10 minutes or so, an employee will walk around with a basket of rolls hot from the oven. They are out of this world and totally worth the carb splurge! My only negative is the BBQ sauce. It’s thin and tangy… I believe it has a vinegar base, which is just not my preferred type of BBQ sauce.

So you walk in and turn to the right. Don’t go through the doors in front of you because that is the exit. Anyways, wanted some bbq so came over here because it was close to the hotel. Well. Their menu was a little bit confusing but I ended up getting ribs, brisket and a black peppered sausage of sorts. The sausage was average at best. The ribs were good but seemed like it had been sitting out too long. The brisket on the other hand is what saved this dish. The brisket was fresh and had just come out of the oven and the rub was fantastic. I ended up getting a side of coleslaw and the total with a Carona came out to a little bit more than $ 17. For me, this was just not worth the price. If I ever come back, I will only get the brisket.

The BBQ is pretty consistent, so you’ll probably get the same taste every time you go here. The BBQ ribs is what I had and its just plain BBQ to me. But the good thing is that you can have unlimited sides and fresh hot rolls. It’s a easy stopper if you’re craving for BBQ.
