Big Guido’s Pizza Take-U-Bake

I gave two stars because the owners are very nice and I love to support local businesses. However I didn’t care much for the pizza. I thought it was extremely salty tasting and it just wasn’t my cup of tea. It could be the pizza we had and some other choices my taste better but it was just overwhelming salt flavor that we couldn’t even eat.

This place has been around forever! When you walk in to pick up your pizza it’s like walking right into 1978. I love the retro décor! If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it right?
On to the pizza– Super fresh ingredients, LOADS of cheese and great prices. Papa Murphy’s doesn’t hold a candle to this take n bake. I hope it sticks around for years to come!

QUALITY TOPPINGS AND LOTS OF THEM! The price seemed a little high to me for take and bake when I looked at the menu. But you get what you pay for. This place blows papa murphys out of the water. They put a ton of toppings and they are all super fresh. I love this place.

It feels so nice to have a delicious pizza from a local business with a kind owner. Only quality ingredients are used and the pizzas are made with love. I crave the taste of Guido’s pizzas.

Best take and bake pizza anywhere! Not commercial, made in a factory, junk you get at any of the «dad’s», «fathers» or any of those other take and bake places.

Love this place! Every time me and the wife get pizza from somewhere else «should have gone to Guidos» usually follows. The lady who works there, really friendly, chatted it up while she was making the pies. Been going there for the past ⁴⁄₅ years, going to continue for many more!

We buy our Pizza there every Sunday. Tina makes the best Pizza I have ever had. We have tried everything on the menu, and now going back to our favorites. Ingredients are very fresh, and where appropriate piled high with fresh veggies.

This place is awesome! The pizza and ingredients are always fresh and they have reasonable prices. What’s not to love.

We love Guido’s! There isn’t anything about this pizza we don’t like. The owner is very nice and always takes the time to ask how my day is going. I love supporting this local, family owned business. The ingredients are fresh and the crust is perfectly delicious and it bakes up beautifully. Keep up the great work!

Great take and bake pizza, the only thing is the owner and operator is weird and kinda rude.

This is my preferred go-​to whenever we want to take and bake pizza. The quality of ingredients is stellar, the sauce is super yummy, the dough is delicious! I love that this is a family owned and operated business. The female owner is very friendly, although I do see the stress of running a small business quite evident on her face.
This place is very unassuming in a tiny, rundown looking strip mall. I’m not sure this is the tidiest store front I’ve ever been in, but the quality and taste of the pizza more than makes up for any shortcomings.
This place is so good, I bought 2 pizzas (Guido’s Supreme and Ultimate Pepperoni) for our Christmas dinner. I have a picky family with specific taste preferences, and yet the whole family loved them! Not a single slice was left over. It was SO good, we ordered 2 more pizzas for dinner the day after Christmas dinner.
IT IS THAT GOOD. Prices aren’t bad either.

Have lived in the area my entire life and just this past year tried this place out. So glad I did but disappointed that it took me so long to do so. The location is not the greatest when the parking lot is busy as it shared by a gas station and a hair salon all on a small corner lot.
Nevertheless, this take and bake is far superior over Papa Murphy’s and virtually not comparable in my opinion. Let’s face it, you get what you pay for when it comes to Papa Murphy’s. The amount and quality of ingredients used to build their pizza is exceptional when compared to Papa Murphy’s or the majority of other prepared pizza places in the immediate area. Our household favorite is the Guidos All Meat (minus linguica, add olive). One slight complaint that we do have is that there isn’t enough cheese on top of the generous toppings to hold them all on while eating. The cheese on top is only placed in the very center of the pizza (maybe a 6″ circumference give or take) but plenty of cheese on top of the sauce below the toppings. They will also do a thinner crust at your request. They just run the dough a couple more times through the automatic roller.
All in all this take and bake is solid. Very consistent and won’t leave you guessing as to what you are going to get from visit to visit. Prefer this pizza over any prepared pizza places in Manteca/​Lathrop as well.

Great find went for hair cut and right next door Guido’s pizza, walked in picked up menu then order probably the best pizza around.

The older woman making the pizza though could use a lil personality, but she was «nice» when she did talk.

Pizzas are awesome, the woman working will ask you if it is your first time ordering with them. If you say it is then she’ll kindly explain the cooking instructions to you. I never seem to be able to leave without buying a dozen pepperoccuni to snack on while the pizza cooks at home, yum!

Always 5 stars! Enjoyed our favorite pizza tonight! We had the Luau chicken — with ½ chicken and ½ pepperoni Luau style… delish & freshly made to order as always!
Quick pop in the oven and its wonderful. gotta try! The owner Tina is sweetheart and very attentive to customer orders and special requests.
