North Main Storage

I’d give these crooks no stars if that was an option! I rented a unit here a couple of years back when my son’s Mom & I split up and I had to downsize. I fell behind on a couple of payments and when I called on the 6^th of that month to pay the outstanding balance, the employee told me there was no sale date on my unit and I had plenty of time to come in and pay. I sat on the phone on hold for 22mins while the employee checked his system and paperwork for any info in regards to a sale date on my unit. The North Main employee said there was no sale date on my unit and that I was not in any danger of losing my unit. I had an emergency arise with my dad and had to reschedule my visit to the facillity to make a payment on my unit for the following week. When I called to reschedule, DIANA (employee) answered and instructed me to come in on the 12^th of that Nov. to make a payment. When I called on the 12^th to pay, all of a sudden my unit was sold to auction on the 8^th, a few days prior to me calling the facillity & a couple of days after me calling to check the status of my unit. I also recirved a month and half before all of this a bogus letter saying my unit was sold which was crazy because it was a letter generated on it’s own. Not through the storage company. There was a male employee who used to always lurk around the units and he is the one who answered the phone and had me on hold for 22 mins while he allegedly looked for info in regards to my account/​unit. I was mislead & robbed by the employees of North Main Storage! I left numerous messages/​complaints & NOT ONCE was I ever contacted in regards to my property being stolen from
me by crooked employees. All of my belongings and the last memories I had from my son’s childhood were in there, along with the last of my Grandmother and Uncle’s belongings that I kept after their recent passings at the time. North Main Storage is the shadiest storage facillity I ever heard of. I don’t wish bad things upon people, but I hope things come to light around there because the people handling the facillity are really a bunch of CROOKS! Your belongings are safer on the street! These people stole from me things I can never get back and I hope one day the people at North Main Storage are held accountable for their wrong doings/​actions

Everytime I have to call or go into the office, for any reason, to make a payment, ask a question, I mean anything, the entire staff has been super friendly! Ive been there while they are extremely busy and you can tell things are a little tense and THEY STILL greet each customer with a smile! I work in customer service and attitude is VERY important! Also, the facility is always clean, if ever I need a little extra time since I get off work late, they always accomodate me. I appreciate the friendly, down to earth atmosphere and will continue to store here and I would recommend them to everyone!

No no no. My friend had a bunch of stuff stolen from his unit, so I took my stuff out too. There’s a freaking dog in a unit. Alot of shady people around here. It’s clean but there’s alot of thievery here. Google it.

I don’t understand why people give this place a hard time. Personally, I like it. It’s clean, has large streets, and big facilities. They have standard security (cameras, access gate with code, and someone on site during business hours) just like everyone else in town. Before storing my belongings here, I called four local competitors and can tell you this was the best option as far as price, security, ease of access, and cleanliness. The staff is friendly and I have had zero issues since I began using the storage unit (March 2015). Also, they have a truck you can rent at a low cost to help with moving which was useful during my move. I plan on staying here until my new home is built (March 2016) and would recommend to anyone. If I do come across any trouble I’ll be sure to update but I doubt I will. Do your homework and call around town. Don’t just take mine or someone else’s word for it.
