I was first introduced to Chick-fil-A down South many years ago. It was always a great place to take the children for a quick meal that everyone enjoyed. Chick-fil-A is everything chicken… chicken sandwiches, chicken nuggets, chicken strips/fingers, salad with chicken. The chicken itself has a light breading, not a crunchy KFC-style of breading. It’s always served hot and fresh, along with waffle fries(unless you prefer a different side). For fast food, it tastes great. It’s real chicken… not pressed chicken or mechanically separated/processed pseudo-chicken. When you order nuggets or a chicken strip, you can rest assured that you’re getting an authentic piece of chicken without fillers. This place was hopping, filled with families with their children. The place had a positive, active, good vibe going for it. Families seemed genuinely happy to be here. There appears to be a kind of playroom off the dining area. When you order your food, they’ll place any sauces, straws, etc. in a colored cup that you bring to your table. When the food is ready, it’s brought out to you. Despite the busy-ness of the place, service was quick and the chicken strips were tasty.

Amazing food! Even more amazing customer service! I arrived five minutes before closing time and ordered food for my family. When I got to the window I shared my excitement for having made it on time as I had raced over from the Northtown location(the closer location to my home in Brooklyn Park) which I found out doesn’t open until January 14th and when I told them, the cashier said, «well, let me help with your gas money» and cut my order in half! What a great company!!! Great management too!

Terrible. Extremely slow and expensive for what you get. This was breakfast mind you.

Love this place! Even though the food options are a bit banal, the resturant is very clean, and more importantly they have superior service. All employees are happy to serve you and help you out. This is not the case for most resturants in the Arbor Lakes area… usually servers and order takers go through the motions and ignore you at all costs. Not at this Chick-fil-A! The staff is so friendly and pleaseant it makes for a great customer experience. Plus they have an indoor playground the kids love. What I love is that we’ll be greeted with smiles every time when we eat here. That goes a long way in developing customer appreciation.

To be fair I have been to this location several times and always had great experiences, but tonight really managed to outshine all those good experiences. I was feeling brave tonight and thought I would take my 4 year old and my 13 month old out to eat without the aid of my husband. After waiting in a long line, ordering my food, and grabbing a table I was happy when my food finally arrived. I grabbed one of the grilled chicken nuggets so that I could cut it into small pieces for my son. I was shocked when I cut into the nugget and it was pink inside. Since I was there by myself with two small children, I was hoping to quickly run over to the counter, tell them my chicken was undercooked and run right back. The first person I encountered totally ignored me, luckily I was able to get the attention of someone coming back from delivering food. I told the girl delivering food that my chicken nuggets were undercooked and I needed a different 6 piece grilled chicken nugget. I went and sat at my table and about three minutes later a different employee came by with $ 2 and some change. I thought to myself, «this is nice, they are replacing my chicken nuggets and giving me a partial refund.» I waited about 10 minutes for my chicken nuggets to come and they never did so I went back up to the counter to check on their status. Luckily the girl who had brought the partial refund by was at the counter. I asked her, «how much longer do you think it will be before my chicken nuggets are ready?» To which she replied(insert rude and condescending tone here),“YOUWANTNEWCHICKENNUGGETSAND A REFUND?” After I explained to her that I never asked for a refund(only new chicken nuggets), but wasn’t surprised to receive a partial refund since they nearly gave my 4 year old and 13 month old Salmonella, I did finally receive the 6 grilled chicken nuggets in about 10 more minutes. However, by this time my kids and I had split my chicken sandwich, fries, and the fruit salad that came with their meal. Up until this experience I’ve had nothing but good experiences at all of the Chickfilas I’ve ever been to, this experience, however, was real crazy. I still don’t quite know what to think.

Consistently kind employees — southern hospitality shows! Everything is good here but affectionado of chicken club without the bread & honey bbq sauce is yummy! Half sweet /half unsweetened tea! Just wish lived closer …

Best chicken sandwiches in the Twin Cities. Very few restaurants can master the«plump» and exterior texture of the chicken and still keep it moist and tender inside!

Chick-fil-A has always been a staple of my diet. It’s always a solid choice for any meal and the service is always top notch! They really care about their customers. If you haven’t tried it, their breakfast stuff is delicious!

Who loves fried chicken patties wedged between bread… mixed with pickles?! This guy!!! You can never go wrong with Chick-fil-A…NEVER. I was so excited when they came to Minnesota(at the U), then it came to my neighborhood… SCORE. How can you deny yourself a classic Chicken Sandwich, Nuggets and a Coke? Grab some extra Chick-fil-A sauce and your set for a #foodcoma. There isn’t anything else you need to know… if you’re a fan(regardless of the companies religious/political views)…then you know this joint is a winner. If you plan on visiting during the weekend… remember they’re CLOSED on Sunday’s and Saturday is a sh*t show with traffic and hangry adventurers!!!

I grew up with Chick-Fil-A and have had it a handful of other times while visiting down south, this definitely isn’t what I remember. We have tried the Maple Grove location twice now and was disappointed each time. The bun was soggy and the chicken was an off flavor. The waffle fries consistently undercooked. My wife had two bites of her chicken club and threw the rest away. Next time we have a hankering for chicken, we’ll head to Culvers. While the food wasn’t good, the service was excellent.

I came up with my own formula like Einstein’s E=MC2. Mine is… Good Unilocal Review + Self Indulgence = Check In. I read a review about Chick fil a this morning and it got me watered up for it. I’ve been avoiding this place in awhile and I haven’t sat foot there for over a year. I don’t know. Other than trying to not mix chicken and politics and people picketing, it is also because many of their foods are fried. Yeah. Yeah. I saw they have grilled nuggets. That’s the most fuckin’ ridiculous thing I have ever seen on a fast food menu. Not too mention the calories being listed. I’m like. Seriously? Are they really trying to sway me to order grilled shit instead? Hell no. Yeah, 1080 calories for spicy chicken sandwich and fries. That’s how it had to be done. Either that, or grilled nuggets. Eeeks. A shocker for me as I actually wanting their frosted brownie more than the chicken, this location does not have brownies! What??! The cheery girl on the intercom all of a sudden said. «What brownie? We don’t have brownies.» Oh, that sucked. That was a big let down. Then, she didn’t even thank me after taking my money. It was an awkward good bye. What happened to the manner? Is it not in the ten commandments? Thou shalt thank thy customers. Anyway. Spicy chicken sandwich didn’t disappoint. I always wonder why they fry their chicken so dark almost looked like it is overcooked but it’s so juicy and hot. The bun that is always sweating in that bag, always looked shiny and glistening. The waffle fries were worth the scale to tip a bit higher tomorrow. Life goes on. I’m just glad that I read the review on a Saturday and not on a Sunday as like how it usually happened in the past when I felt the urge for some Chick fil a. Wish I had that damn delicious brownie though but then, it would be 1800 calories.

Don’t tell anyone else But I’ve been three times lately. Shhhh…our secret, k? Should I feel bad about going to Chick-fil-A? I don’t like their politics or religion, but I like their chicken. The first time that I was ever at one was in St. Louis a number of years ago before all of the controversy and picketing. I remember thinking that was the best fast food chicken sandwich that I have ever had and that someone must have shoved a ray of sunshine up the ass of the guy at the counter taking my order. Fast-forward a couple of years and I notice that they have opened locations in Maple Grove and Bloomington which I drive by frequently. I was hesitant to go back given the brouhaha that took place since my last visit in St. Louis. As my friend, Sam W., wrote«I finally bit the ‘fuck you, you homophobic chicken handlers’ bullet» early this week and went back to see if it was good as I remembered. Got the spicy chicken sandwich my first time back. As good as I remembered. I don’t give a shit if it’s authentic or not — I just know whether my tastes buds are saying yay or nay. So much better than the chicken sandwich at Mickie D’s or Burger King or the like. The manager came by and asked me how everything was. Well, I’ll be damned; I’ve never had that happen at a fast food restaurant before. Second time back, I got the grilled chicken nuggets. Nice option. Everything is fried or comes with a bunch of carbs at the competition. Staff person came by and asked me if I wanted a refill on my soda — for free! Whoa! Mind blown. Third time back today, I got the spicy chicken biscuit breakfast sandwich. The cashier reminded me of the Kenneth character on Thirty Rock both in terms of appearance and personality. Almost overly-friendly for my tastes, but a welcome change of pace from the usual I-don’t-give-a-shit-and-what-did-you-order-again attitude from the help at most fast food places. Was also pleased that I did not have to pay extra for getting a juice instead of coffee as seems to be the SOP at most other places these days. Minus one star for being a chain with no adult beverages. Minus one star for the ownership’s stance on marriage equality. The food and customer service(maybe a little bit on the phony side) puts it ahead of most other fast food places for me.

Chick-Fil-A is a class act. This location stays busy, but they pump out wonderful food and excellent customer service. I have been to the Maple Grove location several times since they opened. It’s always busy, the food is always hot and delicious, and I am always offered help from the staff. They are prompt to wipe down tables and offer refills. This is nearly unheard of in the fast food industry these days and something that gets high marks in my opinion. Now on to the food… I LOVE it. I cannot stress this enough! I worked for this chain as a teenager down in Virginia and can personally assure the quality of the food. The salads are fresh. The kids meals offer healthy choices. The chicken is downright sinful. And the waffle fries… oh the waffle fries. I am a big fan of the fresh-squeezed lemonade and sweet tea… try an Arnold Palmer here… it will change your life. My whole family loves the food. Hopefully we will be going back soon!

For a fast food joint it was pretty good! Greasy but good! My 13 yr old daughter and I had the spicy chicken deluxe sandwiches, my 8 and 10 year olds had the spicy chicken sandwiches and my two year old had the chicken nuggets! There are a ton of sauces you can request, we tried the honey mustard(highly recommend) and the chik fil a sauce which was really smoky. Everyone really liked their meal! Even our ten year old who isn’t really a chicken sandwich kid!

Is this place all the rage? Hrmm, I wouldn’t camp outside to get in… But yeah, it’s decent. Had a nice sized, hot chicken sandwich from the drive-thru with fries and a sweet tea. How can you complain about that? Other than the fact that Wendy’s has made one just as good for years before this place came to town. IDK maybe you will feel more trendy eating in this place.

I was here about 15 minutes before closing. I happened to be out this way and needed to bring dinner home. In this part of the mall it’s easy to find the drive through entrance. I got my usual chicken sandwich, and Jeannine’s right it requires a packet of mayo. Funny they don’t deal in open condiments at all, everything is in a packet. When I got home I noticed one filet was thicker than the other, kind of odd. I think 2 slices of pickle in a naked chicken filet odd, too. I still love it. I got the coleslaw at another location, and didn’t care for it. Guessing they’re probably all alike. They seem to hold themselves to a higher fast food standard as far as service goes. Somehow I didn’t feel the need to check inside the bag. Blind faith, perhaps.

I’m biased. I admit it. I relocated here from Georgia, the home of the Church of God of Chick Fil A. From the looks of the reviews, it appears that some Minnesotans don’t fully appreciate the goodness that is pressure-cooked deep fried chicken, sweet tea and waffle fries. One crazy reviewer compared it to Cub Foods. CUB. FOODS. Blasphemy! This chicken is juicy, flavorful, tender and the service is consistently great. My faves: Original chicken sandwich w/mayo Chicken strips w honey mustard sauce Grilled chicken club Spicy chicken biscuit w egg Chicken minis SWEETTEA Put this place on your bucket list. Trust me. And if you don’t like it, feel free to head over to Cub…*eye roll*

I went in to the new Maple Grove store for dinner with my husband Saturday night. The wait times were horrific, but I understood that this would be the case given the time of day and the fact that it was a new location. What I didn’t expect was that after waiting 15 minutes to order and 25 minutes to receive our order, an individual would be allowed to cut in line to order and receive his meal before the rest of the waiting guests(so he was in and out in a matter of minutes). After asking one friend to grab his chicken nuggets early, I was happy to hear her refuse and tell him to wait in line. However, he apparently hit up another friend of his to grab his chicken nuggets before everyone else. They did, much to my surprise. The worst part of the ordeal is that because he was allowed to «skip ahead» he got his order of chicken nuggets, while the store ran out of them by the time they filled our order(giving us chicken strips instead — but not much in the way of an apology for running out of nuggets). Had it not been for the preferential treatment to the employee’s friend, my husband would have received the nuggets we drove 30 minutes for(and waited for in the store for 40 minutes for). Very disappointing, and I won’t be back.
