Mealey’s Furniture – Moorestown

Elizabeth at the store was super helpful with our purchase! And deliver was quick and easy to set up. The guys showed up on time and set everything up perfectly. They were extremely courteous and very careful not to hit anything even though we had lots of booby traps laying around due to the holidays. Overall a great experience!

We have bought furniture from their Bensalem location and from Moorestown; Our last purchase in Moorestown was over three years ago we bought 2 large electric reclining sofas; a recliner, and end table — 1 lamp because they did not have a matching lamp? all for our family room; and then for the living room a sofa, 2 end tables, 2 arm chairs… within 3 years, and just 2 adults, the sofas are like sitting in a ditch, the recliner is flimsy, the 2 arm chairs have covers over them and from just (2) 55 lb. dogs sitting in them also have no firmness; the end tables drawers had screws drop out of them without even being opened much; the stitching on the sofa fabric along the bottom never matched up but we didn’t notice that till months later — we had a seam pop on the recliner foot rest area and they did send someone out who said it was from our dogs who never got on the foot area, but he stitched it up… the deal with the warranty rebate after you purchase, pay off and wait… is…you have to wait 3 ½ years!!! to get a $ 260 gift card! I phoned 6 months ago and was told it would be done ⁸⁄₃₀ and was quoted the amount… I phoned yesterday and was told not till February!!! & quoted the same amount. I said #()$#)*)_​that’s ridiculous to be so long after purchase — I guess they don’t want us shopping there again! We also had a dining room set from them that the chairs fell apart, a leg cracked in moving it, and the wood on the table was so soft even a centerpiece made dents — it was NOT covered under warranty as only the fabric is covered, not the table and chairs? We still have a cherry wood side buffet we bought at the Bensalem location @ 15 years ago that is in good shape probably because it’s not something to sit on. At this point they can sit on it, we won’t be shopping there anymore and when we do get the gift card we’ll get a lamp because there will probably only be 1 in stock!

Great selection and decent prices. So much furniture in stock and ready for delivery. They have a kids area with games and a café with drinks & snacks. Makes furniture shopping a little less stressful with kids.

I was really impressed by this store. I looked online before coming here and had narrowed down what I was interested in seeing. The saleswoman was really helpful and gave me some good advice because I’m a novice at furniture shopping. I was able the see the dresser on display that I wanted and the whole process was really easy. I even got the piece delivered the next day. The delivery guys were also great– right on time, fast and super friendly. If you’re looking for quality furniture without breaking the bank, Mealey’s is a good option to consider.

We purchased a sofa & loveseat at this Mealeys, while the salesperson was nice she wasn’t very helpful, just said a lot of things about our likes being similar to hers & you don’t want to fill out all that paperwork for credit just use your own charge card! But that was the least of our trouble. We purchased something extra called Guardsman (for fabric furniture). After we received our furniture we had a stain, the Guardsman people came out cleaned it. I keep the sofa covered all summer & fall as it is off white so i didn’t want Guardsman to have to come back. At Christmas I noticed the sofa not looking so great where it was cleaned, in fact it looked bad, discolored, & the fabric all lumpy! But it was the holidays, so i bought new covers (for my brand new sofa) an went thru the holidays. Well last month I finally got around to calling Mealeys about said discoloring & buckling fabric. They said put a claim in w Guardsman, so I do & now they are telling me I waited too long that I have 14 days to make a claim (it took 14 days for the couch to dry!). What kind of customer service is that! Now I have a year old sofa that is ruined and nothing can be done about it! Mealeys said because i had a claim w guardsman they won’t do anything!
Ive been buying furniture at Mealeys for years, but guess what. not anymore!

What a series of rude people. Asked for help ordering a part from a product they carry and the sales person told me that she couldn’t be bothered helping me. I have never seen anything like this before.

Although I have been a long time consumer of Mealey’s Furniture as of right now I will never shop there again. Buyer beware don’t ever purchase the Montage Furniture Protection Programs from Mealey’s. Montage is a fraudulent company that has denied wrongly any claim I have made. This protection program is just a rip off-​THEY WILL DO NOTHING TO PROVIDE YOU ANY SERVICE-​THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN!!!

Mealey’s was our last stop on a long day of couch shopping, so my decision to drop a few bills here may have been more related to exhaustion than to reality, but we’ll let that slide.
There’s a pretty wide range of furniture, in terms of taste/​style. I enjoyed the décor they included — the artwork, accent lamps, vases, etc were things I could actually imaging having in my home, not gaudy showroom stuff. The prices were not the best we saw that day, but far from the worst. There was a promotion that day giving up to 45% off base price, but they didn’t do packages (i.e. Sofa + Loveseat + armchair deals). The sales people were a little more hover-​y than I’d like but not intrusive, and friendly.
Of course, there’s also a play area for kids, and free soda, chips, candy, icecream — which certainly made for a more enjoyable shopping experience. Everything was delivered on time and in a professional manner.
Definitely worth a look.

Mealey’s is a nice place to check out if you are looking for furniture. They have a pretty nice selection. The best part is the kids area. The have drinks and snacks that will keep the kids happy
