I could not believe the absolute horrid job on both mani and pedi. She asked me if I wanted the higher luxury pedi. I said okay. Interesting two women that had started their pedi already were still getting them and I was done??? She was very interested in those women so kept leaving me constantly to check on them. My 7 year old grandchild could have done a better job on my nails. Didn’t touch the cuticles. NEVER going back. She was very nice. This is Happy Nails in Oakdale

I made the mistake stopping by for a pedicure. The nail tech(whom I later discovered is the OWNER) didn’t introduce herself to me. a new customer. She was extremely rough when she trimmed my toenails, and buffed the dead skin form my heels –with an extra $ 5 charge. She almost cut my skin under on of my toe’s– I said, «Ouch, that hurts«& pulled my feet away. She talked the whole time to another nail tech –while performing my pedi service. Rude & unprofessional. She hurried through my pedi, no foot massage. The place was not the cleanest, lots of dust around the chairs. I had a coupon for $ 20, and she charged me $ 27. I didn’t leave a tip. You will not leave with happy feet from this salon.

I really used to like this place, but the recent changes(new ownership, loss of a long-time customer-favorite nail technician) has started me considering going to different place. The owner is lying to her customers about losing the nail technician everyone loved so much. I simply cannot frequent a business who’s owner feels lying is acceptable. The prices at Happy Nails are great, the best I’ve encountered, but cheap prices aren’t worth a business with no ethics.
