Maplewood Nails

I have had terrible experiences at Maplewood Nails but I have continued to go back because of the location. However, after a pedicure this past weekend I will absolutely not go back. I have had the worst technician there time-​after-​time and the pedicure this weekend was no different. During what is supposed to be a relaxing experience, she cut my skin three separate times while trying to take off dead skin. I flinched each time and she just looked at me. The night after my pedicure I actually had a hard time sleeping because my toe was throbbing. I was limping on both Monday and Tuesday because my toe hurt so badly. I have been so unimpressed every time I go and now I have told my husband to not allow me to go back even though it is close by! Also, my gel manicure that I got there a few weeks ago chipped in less than a week. When I go other places I can make it last for up to 3 weeks.

I got in promptly. The nail tech was nice to have idle chat with. She seemed attentive. Price is right. My French lines aren’t crooked — which is the main reason I go to a salon — cause I can do crooked all by myself.
If you are in the area, try them out!

I had eyelash extensions done here the weekend of Mother’s day. I made my appointment after reading about them online and found a salon near me that offered this service. I was skeptical at first, thinking they would damage my real lashes, cause them to fall out, be/​c I listened to all the hearsay from other people who were uninformed.
After doing my own research, I selected Maplewood Nails as my place based on location and price. Other salons quoted me well over $ 100 for the same service and I wasn’t interested in paying that much.
I would suggest doing the same for yourselves ladies, do some research first and then decide where you want to go. I also suggest making an appointment for this service as I was there for about 1 hr 10 minutes. Then get ready to receive the compliments!
I would recommend that you talk to the stylist about the different lengths before deciding on which one to use. The one’s I picked were the most popular length, but for my fill, I will choose one that is slightly shorter to make them look more natural.
Otherwise, I was very impressed and will be back again soon for a fill!

I got eyelash extensions there last night. Wow what a difference. I had them done at another salon just over 4 weeks ago. I had never had them before. I liked them but thought something just wasn’t right so I tried Maplewood Nails. They look beautiful and so natural. Definitely a great bargain for the price. I highly recommend trying them out. I think you will love them.
