Excellent food and sevice. We ate the lasagna and spaghetti & meatballs. DELICIOUS! The service was good. Authentic Italian at it’s BEST! Don’t Miss eating at this restaurant!

If you go ask not to be served by NIKOLA
Was very rude and arrogant .We asked for a few minutes before we ordered our food gave us a dirty look then ignored us for 20 minutes. then we wanted to order a pizza told us it would be over an hour because there take out business was heavy, he was a extreme jerk and does not belong around people. We will not return!!!

I have specific desired tastes when it comes to Italian food, that being said, I really didn’t have super high hopes. Happily, I was proven wrong.
This place was exceptional beginning with pleasant and knowledgeable server. The weather was cool but the heaters were plentiful and fired up so it was very comfortable outside.
We all chose house wines and everyone thought they were exceptional-I had the Merlot The arancini was tender, flavorful and fried to perfection.
Bring on the pasta (angel hair) bolognese cooked to perfection under a flavorful sauce.
The cannoli was homemade with a crisp tender shell and creamy filling.
The owner cam over to chat for a minute and it really did add to enjoyment level of the night.
If I had more time here, I would definitely return and enjoy the same meal but this time I would get
The tiramisu because that also looked great!

Our meal and the service at Davide was excellent all around. We went with no reservations and as a result sat on the patio, which in reality is the sidewalk overlooking the parking lot. Service was excellent, from the hostess who greeted us, to the server who waited on us, to the young man bussing the tables– all attended to us and made sure everything was fine. The menu is authentic Italian. I had the pasta alla Norma, which was just right — well prepared and not too heavy. The location — a small storefront in a strip mall– is not unusual in Marco Island, and the evening was so pleasant and the food and service was so good that its location was not a drawback. We’ll definitely come back the next time we’re in town, and we highly recommend it.

Davide’s was a great find in Marco! Small, cozy little restaurant with wonderful food. I ordered the gluten free penne with basil and eggplant and ricotta. It was delicious … and gluten free pasta sometimes is not! I hope to be able to return before heading home!

Probably the best Italian on Marco.
Really delicious sandwiches, decent pastas and pizzas and excellent desserts. Great for a casual bite. The design of the interior and the location leave a lot to be desired but never mind, if the food is good — the food is good and I will go back. And I have been back many many times, particularly for their sandwiches. I had a few miss experiences with pasta (burned garlic made everything taste like burned garlic) so I opt to skip that nowadays, but otherwise across the board they’ve been pretty consistent and good.
I’m still hoping someone will import a wood fired oven and make a really nice Neapolitan pizza, but I guess that dream will have to rest. I’ll settle for something like this in the mean time.

The calamari we ordered was overcooked and rubbery. The atmosphere is sterile, and the location is horrible. Outdoor seating at Davide’s is literally on the sidewalk overlooking the parking lot of a strip mall. The owners definitely try to make the experience unique, for example, they occasionally make homemade pastas and specials which are usually delicious. Davide’s pizzas are exceptional too. However, the overall dinner experience just doesn’t pull together well. I wouldn’t recommend Davide’s for an upscale dinner.

Interesting location for a restaurant with such passion. The staff speaks fluent Italian and the chef must as well, as the dishes were spot-on as I remember them in Italy. Small, but very cozy and the locals seem to adore both the food and the owners, who made their way to each table to see if we were enjoying our dinner. Very warm and lively atmosphere. We were seated immediately and served very soon after. If you love authentic Italian and like to make new friends… we say go! Order extra and take some home.

Very unique location in a strip mall however the ambience and food will make up for any reservations that you might have by seeing the outward appearance! The staff is super friendly and attentive. The meat lovers pizza is to die for as well as the supreme pizza!!!

Hands down the best Italian food on Marco island! My family and I went there (all 11 of us) and we had absolutely no problem with seating and the waitress we had was flawless. We had the Davide pizza which was absolutely fantastic! A couple of my other family members had the hand made tortellini which were to die for. The owner Davide is also an amazing person and will always make sure that the service and food you are getting are to the highest of standards. If you are ever in Marco Island, Davide’s no question is the one restaurant you have to go to, to enjoy the best Italian food.

Small but nicely decorated. Our waiter was courteous, knowledgeable and right there when needed. I had the baked ziti, my wife had eggplant and my daughter had Shrimp Fra Diavlo. We all raved about how good the food was. Definitely going back.

I came here on a Wednesday night and it was slow but much to my surpise EVERYONE behind the counter was speaking Italian to each other. This I thought was a good sign as I am Italian, lived in Italy as a boy and of course grew up eating Italian food my mama made. Authentic Italian food everyday to me was like eating mac and cheese to everyone else.
I was astounded by the menu but I was in the mood for a pie and ordered the Pizza Italian. Disregard my last review about pizza. This is the best pizza I’ve had in 20+ years hands down!!! I was treated like I was at home and the food, wine and service was top notch. Don’t miss out on DAVIDE!!!

First Unilocal review. Best pizza I’ve ever had. We sat outside after the rain with the pooch. The waitstaff was awesome, very attentive, welcoming and sweet. Mussels and broth were delicious, as was the garlic bread and the 5 meat pizza (we added mushrooms and garlic). My husband got tiramisu and devoured it in under 2 minutes. The whole experience was perfect. As a bartender from boston I inadvertently notice every detail when I dine out. This was a breath of fresh air. Thank you! Our visit was Sat 6÷20÷15 around 8:30pm (I forget the waiters name.) Also, Unilocal says they are closed today, their website says they are open…

Davide’s narrowly gets the 4^th star, but it does get it.
1) The food was solid! No way around it, my husband and I both got sandwiches, fries, and salad, and all of them were prepared with quality ingredients by people who give a sh1t. That’ll get you three stars right there, even if your prices are kind of high.
2) The waitress sat us 15 minutes before they closed (most places on the island are closed between lunch and dinner, like Italy… the parallel of which was not unnoticed by me and my hubs) and treated us like royalty instead of the entitled hangry tourists that we were.
We tipped well, and we would go back for dinner (if the Crazy Flamingo didn’t exist).

I truly cannot comprehend any review under 5 stars. I love coming to Davide’s but last night took the cake! Two friends and I dropped in later in the evening for dinner and it was PACKED!!! However, Davide found a table for us inside, with speakers throughout the restaurant to hear the incredible vocals of the Italian singer performing outside (who cared to walk through the crowd both outside and in). Our server, Josh, was excellent, as was the fantastic cook, Corey, who made Italiana pizza! So delicious. Everyone NEEDS to try the Davide salad!!! My FAVORITE!!! I posted a picture of it. Mixed romaine and arugula topped with avocado, strawberries, mandarin, cucumber, and a perfect amount of tuna salad topped with caviar for $ 11-$ 12. I get it EVERY time no matter what else I’m ordering. Love it. Of course our dinner couldn’t be complete without belting Sweet Caroline at the top of our lungs and laughing along with the tables surrounding us. You really feel like part of the family when you’re there. Side note: Davide and his wife are adorable together!

Very active restaurant located in a shopping center with attentive waitstaff. Service was good and prompt. Had bruschetta special and it was delicious. Eggplant parm with pasta and chicken dish with red pepper, artichokes, peppers, onions in Marsala sauce were the entrees ordered. Portions are not huge but acceptable.
Would recommend, but busy and noisy. If you are looking for good value and price you might not be totally thrilled due to smaller portions, but we were satisfied.
