Absolutely love this little restaurant located in a small plaza! Please don’t let that deceive you because the food is great! There is outdoor dining available too. It’s a small menu but everything offered is fresh and delicious. I highly recommend.

The drama free report is: Service was great with respect to how attentive and how friendly our server was. The dining room was fairly full and lively so it had a good vibe. Food was ok, but not stellar. The ‘issue’ we had was they had to ‘re-fire’ one of our dinners. A pork chop. I don’t exaggerate when I say we waited over an hour for dinner — it was close to 1:20. At no time did anyone offer a complimentary app or glass of wine. Perhaps when they were recooking the pork chop, the rest of our dinners sat under a lamp. In the end they did take two glasses of wine(out of 3) off the check, but we also said, «thanks for comping the wine» as the bill was being paid so perhaps that was a hint they took. As I said, our server couldn’t have been better.

Fin Bistro plates quite sophisticated dishes and is truly a great option if you seek foodie satisfaction on Marco Island. We had the crab cake and seafood chowder appetizers — both great sharing choices. And both rich and subtle at the same time. For mains we had the lobster over the squash and cauliflower«risotto» which is to die for. Lobster was tasty and out of the shell — perfect for those who dislike performing surgery on their food as I do. The swordfish was tasty and moist over an interesting bacon wrapped potato. Only demerit is décor in secondary dining room a little spare. Wonderful friendly service rounds out a great experience. No regrets.

Let me get the couple of issue out of the way. First it is in a shopping mall. Our taxi driver mentioned that they had expanded to the patio and other room recently and are still packed. It just seemed like I was eating my dinner in a shopping mall. The other issue is that they only serve beer and wine. Very good food and service. We started with the Crab Cake and shrimp. Both were very good, the Crab cake was very crabby. For dinner we had the swordfish and grouper. I love swordfish, but so many good restaurants have messed it up and served it dry for me. The waitress assured me this would not be the case, and it wasnt at all. The swordfish was very very good. My wifes grouper was also very good but the gnocci w/crab that was served along with it was just outstanding. For desert we had the bread pudding, which was very good. If I end up in the area again I will make sure to get a reservation at Fin Bistro.

Fin Bistro is one of the best restaurant I have ever been to. And considering its on Marco Island(and I worked and lived in Manhattan) that’s saying a lot. The wine list is expansive and reasonably priced. The hospitality from the owners is top notch– we had to wait for our table(No big deal) and they comped two glasses of wine each. Our server was Dean for both of our recent dinners and he was awesome, corking our bottle of wine for us to enjoy the rest in the lanai at our rental home. Oh the food! I would recommend early reservations because everything is fresh and can and will sell out. Because my husband and I tend to eat late, we knew we were taking chances. First comes warm bread with an olive oil and Harissa blend and then we have enjoyed the crab cake appetizer– basically all crab and AMAZING as well as the delectable Yellowfin crudo. We’ve had the scallops(just out of this world!) the tempura shrimp, the flounder and fluke almondine, the cobia and the snapper. We honestly just go to Marco to go to Fin. It’s that good. While we are totally sated after the meal– we both can’t stop debating how great a restaurant this is.
