Marco Island Brewery

Great food and beers! I ordered the ahi tuna tacos and I was amazed how delicious they were! I paired it with a blueberry ipa! I will def be coming back!

This place was awesome. It rained last Wednesday, so we came here for Lunch and were pleasantly surprised at the food and beer selection. There were 5 of us, and we all ended up loving the meal and beers that we ordered. The best part was the fish tacos. I had the fried Grouper tacos, and two other people in the group had Mahi Mahi tacos. They were outstanding. One of the best fish tacos I have ever had. We also ordered the Big Rod Coconut Ale. Being from New England I have never tasted anything like it.
We had such a good experience that we decided to return the next night on Cinco De Mayo when we had to wait 2 hours to be seated at a restaurant down the street. We had a group of 10 this time, so they were able to quickly set up a table outside and have us seated in no time. There were Cinco De Mayo specials, a great waitress, and another great experience. I will be sure to visit multiple times when I return to Marco every year!

Not a fan. The table was sticky and the food was mediocre at best. I did not like my chicken at all. The only reason they get two stars instead of one is because the server was very attentive and my dad loved his burger. I’m not from the area but even if I were I would not return.

One of the best bars on the Island. Family run. There is always an owner on property making sure everyone is happy. Cold beer, generous drinks and great pizza too. Also a great place to bring your fresh caught fish. There is not a better place on the Island to watch any sporting event. We have had a few big events here and Frank, Lynette, Jamie and Johnny do whatever is necessary to keep the drinks flowing.

I read the low ratings, but my family and I ate here anyways and thought it was great!
Most of us ordered cheeseburgers and fries. We also had the spinach dip appetizer, which was great.
We all had different beers– I was happy they had angry orchard on tap!!!
Food was great and our server was super friendly.

Get there early on a Sunday during football season. Shewee those folks are serious about their table placement. The beer selection was great, but no real local craft breweries were on tap. Side note there may not be any close. Had a salad that supposed to have blackened chicken. Not so much blackened but still delish.

Went for a pizza salad and beer and turned into a 2 plus hour ordeal. The service was just horrible and it wasn’t even busy. We had to get our own menus and just decided to go to the bar and get our own drinks since our waiter was not helping. Food was ok but I’m sure there is better.

This is the place to go! Amazing beer, amazing menu, amazing staff. My husband and I had a great time and will be returning. I recommend all Marco Island visitors to go here.

Overall it is a decent place, super casual, good hang out spot to watch a game and grab a brew.
Pros:
Their own brew is decent, I like the red one, but it is pricey and you get a small glass (even though I kind of wanted to take one home, I restrained myself)
Nice servers, sweet locals that are working hard and being friendly
In a good little spot with stuff around like other good restaurants if you want to hop around, or froyo (which isn’t too great, but it is there)
Lots of TVs to catch the game
Good outdoor seating
More of a local spot, not that many tourists
Cons:
Beer selection for a Brewery is kind of weak, they have a lot of generic beers that I can get anywhere, for cheaper — need to get some better brews
Outdoor and indoor are connected, so bugs have their free reign of the whole place (we dodged giant grasshoppers the whole time)
Food is sub-​par bar food, I would stick with pizza and beer and watching TV, eat dinner elsewhere

Good food. Very busy. We had a group of 8 and things went very smoothly. Everyone seemed to enjoy their lunches and we were in and out quickly. I would go back.

Affordable and good food. Beers selection is amazing. Had a burger for lunch and pizza for dinner. Prices are good too.

I’m a bit confused by the low ratings here.
Where else in Marco Island can you have 40 different tap beers– Ballast Point IPA Grapefruit is a favorite of mine and I’ve never seen it on tap before. So I definitely indulged– as did I with «not your fathers rootbeer» as recommended by the genial bartender who gave me a sample free of charge– we actually didn’t pay for samples.
The outside bar is great for dummies like my husband and myself who smoke and the fans kept us cool while I was able to watch my NY home teams on a few of their bazillion TVs. The food was great– happy hour pricing is where it’s at! I recommend the bruschetta, the Cuban sandwich, the tuna tacos and their addictive tator tots and potato skins. Bonus– their glasses for bottled beer look like a can of beer and are super cute– we bought two to take home. The service was also extremely friendly. While it may not be 5 stars in the NJ/​NYC area it definitely deserves it for Marco!

3 stars is about right. Great atmosphere and lots of good beers on tap, but stick with the pizza. Had the ribeye, which they claim on their menu is their specialty, but it was mediocre at best. Pizza was terrific. Had a party of 8 and was looking to pay partially in cash with the balance on a card, but our waitress Alex couldn’t grasp the concept.

Place was horrible!!! Grouper itself was good but stuffing was salty; black bean soup was salty; stuffed lobster was salty — pretty much everything but the beer and water was salty — if you like salty food, this is your place.
I would pass on this place if your in Marco Island.
Try something else.

This place was really good! My fellow Unilocaler Melissa C recommended this place to me on our recent mini getaway to Marco. There’s TV’s everywhere for the sports lovers, and a good selection of domestic and craft beers. The staff was super friendly, and the food was good as well. I opted for the Mahi caesar salad and it was delicious! We also had the wings, and calamari. They also have a fireball sauce they make on house which was the perfect mix of sweet and spicy! I would definitely recommend sharing as well since the portions are generous. The manager also gave our group a complimentary fire ball shot which i thought was very sweet! Thank you Marco brewery we’ll definitely be back soon!

Food experience was great. I had their shrimp and crab stuffed grouper, which is their number 1 seller. Their house brews are good. And they have 40 beers on tap. Service was great. No complaints at all other than it being a little warm since they have it kind of open outdoorsy. But I’d definitely come back.

Food was delicious a little steep on prices compared to portion size and 1.50 to sample a beer was a little obnoxious. But overall an okay place to try on a rainy Tuesday

I was extremely pleased with my visit this evening to the Marco Island Brewery.
I have no complaints about anything.
Our server, Sam was one of the sweetest, most helpful and obliging waitresses I have ever had on Marco Island… and that includes 5 star restaurants I’ve dined in.
I had the kielbasa dinner and my boyfriend had the ribs. Both were excellent, hearty and ample portions.
My kids ordered mac and cheese and chicken fingers and they loved it.
I love local breweries. Their red ale is phenomenal.
This place has really improved their menu since I’ve been here last. Definitely worth a visit and I can’t wait to come back.
I will ask specifically for Sam. She is the best.

LOVELY assortment of beer choices on tap… that gave it the 2 stars. Now the rest:
$ 1.50 per sample, even if I buy the beer after the taste? ridiculous. Oh and BTW. selling advertisement space on your glasses?
Silverware filthy. Send back cold soggy food twice. Came back over microwaved. Employees standing around chatting most of the time with maybe 1 person actually working. Dirty broken tables and booths falling apart. Strange transactions happening in the back office every few minutes with what looked like non-​employees. Still recovering from perhaps food poisoning.

Mahi Mahi sandwich was fish on a roll. Luckily they had a good tarter sauce– because it would have been bad. Fish tacos were good and our kids had burgers and gobbled them down.
We had to move outside to the ‘non smoking’ section because when seated inside, smoke from the ‘smoking section– outside’ was coming inside the building and the whole inside smelled pretty strong like smoke. The bar area was open to the outside and the smoke was coming into the restaurant.
All in all– ok.
