After a long round of mini golf this place really hit the spot. The person with the hole in one had to buy. And it was in walking distance of the course and our resort.

Recommend highly. Yes, order at counter and they bring it to you. But when they do, you can enjoy a great tasting meal in a nice clean restaurant at a good price. We went twice in one week, because it is that good. The pizza is outstanding! The cheese ravioli was too. Warsteiner beer in a can.

A pleasant surprise to find a reasonably priced and good restaurant in this tourist city and located across the street from the major hotels. The pizza was the biggest surprise, it is thin crust and really one of the best I have eaten on the island, and costs way less than their competitors Prices. The salads are large and well made, and with a varied selection. It is a self serve style, you order from a friendly and helpful staff and they bring it to your table. Restaurant is clean and bright. Strongly recommend to all especially to families with children.

I’d give it six stars if I could. LOVED this restaurant. We went for lunch. They have sandwiches, pasta, salads, soups, etc for lunch and an even nicer variety for dinner. I ordered half turkey Reuben and Caesar salad. Both were delicious. My husband ordered BBQ pork sandwich and the clam chowder. Both were delicious. The clam chowder was FANTASTIC. Quiet atmosphere made it easy to talk and socialize. Our daughter is getting married on the beach in July and we inquired about catering after our experience. We spoke with the owner and he was friendly and helpful. The lady that took our order came out and talked with us for awhile. She was great. I wish we would have found this place sooner. This will definitely be a regular.

We tried Stonewall’s for lunch. My first time here. My wife had been one other time. She had a meatloaf special that was very good, and it was a large portion. It was served with baked potato, salad, and roasted Brussels sprouts. I am a fan of B-sprouts, so I snatched a couple. Very good. I had linguini with meatballs & Caesar salad. It was good with two exceptions: they didn’t put anchovies in the salad even though the menu lists them as a pizza topping so I knew the kitchen had them, and the tomato sauce had that hint of sugar that so many places feel they have to add. I prefer the natural acidity of tomatoes. This is one of those places where you pay first then they serve you later. This practice results in having to tip prior to service. I don’t like to do that, but it is their system. We’ll go back.

Ya know I’ve been here previously and never really liked the food. My wife really wanted to go so I relented. Well I’m posting this because the experience was wonderful. I had the Cajun jerk pasta with chicken and sausage yum! I was amazed at the turn around so being curious I asked some questions, seems these folks are new owners and they’re doing a great job nice family indeed. A very nice young lady greeting guests and taking care of all the customers has a wonderful table side manor. Don’t dismiss this place or go by the older reviews it’s worth a visit.

I drove past this place for over a year not realizing it is not a typical overpriced restaurant on Marco Island. This restaurant has a «Panera» feel to it and the food it VERYGOOD! Walk up, order, have a seat and when the food is ready its brought out. Very good meatballs sub, and very good rubin sandwich but this place if far more than just a sandwich shop… there is pasta and mexican too. Also daily specials. I hear breakfast is good here to! You can also order a beer if you wish to. Nice job — I will be returning!

Pleasantly surprised by Stonewalls this past June. The exterior makes it appear to be a «fine dining» experience so I always drove past. Spoke with my nail tech at the spa and she explained their«fine dining… fast» concept so we gave it a shot. Friendly, clean, tastefully decorated and the food was GREAT! Hubby had the reuben and I had ravioli and a lettuce wedge with added tomato & bacon. We were pleased and will try breakfast this week(now that we’re back in town)! Note: You order at the counter and they bring it to you — they have a variety of sandwiches, pizza, limited pasta dishes, and breakfast. This is a good option for a simple meal with a pleasing interior.

We were drawn in by the impressive façade and attractive interior, but the food was terrible. My wife ordered a turkey sandwich, took one bite, and put it down. The turkey was old at best and bad at worst. I shared the jerk pasta with my son. It was bland, under flavored and over cooked. Later that afternoon 3 out of 4 of us had«digestive issues.» The only person spared was my wife who refused to eat the turkey sandwich. Do not go to this place.

Great for lunch or breakfast. Loved my breakfast burrito here. Excellent coffee. Cheaper prices and good food. Not fancy, and that’s just fine by me. Try the seafood chowder here. It’s delicious. We come to Marco at least once or twice per year, and we always get a «to go» order of the chowder. Pair it with a salad and bread and you have an excellent, budget-friendly meal.

We kept driving past Stonewall’s every time we were driving on vacation and we needed a place to go to for lunch so we decided to stop in on Thursday to get a quick bite to eat. We checked out their menu online which had sandwiches, Mexican, pasta & hot dogs and we decided with the various choices everyone could pick what they wanted. We showed up and walked through the door and were a bit surprised. I was expecting this to be more of a restaurant type and to be seated but it was actually seat yourself and order at a counter. My recommendation for them is to have a sign that says to seat yourself as other patrons also seemed a bit confused like us when they walked in. The place itself is a bit dark and chilly(which is nice after being in the sun all morning) but clean(restrooms were great!) and contemporary. The menu is displayed on two large flat screen TVs for the patron’s viewing. I was with my girlfriend, her sister, and our son. We went with the Philly Cheesesteak, Italian sub, Jerk Chicken pasta w/Caesar salad and kid’s quesadilla. First the subs; the cheesesteak was just ok, small for how much it cost(probably could have ate 2) and could have used more seasoning and peppers and onions. The Italian was actually way better than the cheesesteak, the meat was good portioned and the hot peppers on the sandwich gave a good kick to it. My girlfriend’s sister enjoyed her Caesar salad which I thought looked delicious but kind of picked at her pasta(it didn’t look very appetizing). The best thing was probably the kid’s quesadilla my son got; for real I wish that I would have ordered that as it was even better than the quesadilla I got at Margarita’s(Mexican restaurant on the island). Stonewall’s wasn’t a bad lunch and there was a very different mix people there(workers, elderly, tourists) but it needed a little better service and a little better food to be a place that we would come back to.

Very confusing cafeteria style breakfast. You have to get your own water and condiments. If you need any coffee refill you have to get up and go back to the counter. By the time you order your food, fill up your water the food was ready and undercooked and the«server» follows you around to your seat. I’ve eaten a lot of breakfast on this island and this was the worst so far. Also what’s up with requesting a tip before I even see the meal or experience the service?!

The popular sentiment when we arrived was«what have we chosen tonight?» You don’t get the feel of a vacation worthy dinner when you enter, once you realize that you order at a counter rather than with a server. Not to say that the restaurant is a shambles, it is quite pleasant, but it is not the same concept of other restaurants in the area. Skipping the customary visit from your server in the beginning should save some time. We ordered our meals and drinks which were then brought to our tables. I had the Porky Pig baked potato which was the largest baked potato I have seen, stuffed with cheese, ham, bacon, and pulled pork. Delicious. Everyone who had the chicken noodle soup with their meals raved. The chicken piccata was a hit as well as the cheese ravioli. A buffalo chicken flat bread and flat bread pizza were eaten happily. If the kids don’t want what is offered on the children’s menu, a single dish spilt for two is sufficient, such as the chicken parm my kids shared. A good choice for some good food, Italian is the majority of the menu, and a good experience.

Had breakfast here twice during our week at the Marriott on Marco Island. It is a short walk away. Service was fast and friendly. Food was very good. Did not get to try the lunch/dinner menu.

I have passed this restaurant for several years without stopping in. This year during our vacation we do a four-mike walk past it. So we decided to try it. What a treat! Now it’s part of our daily routine. My husband loves the ham, cheese and mushroom omelet. It is to die for! The muffins are baked on site. Try the apple cinnamon. Last night, on our way home from a late golf round, we ordered take-out for dinner. Hubby got the italian sub; I was treated to the pulled pork sandwich. Both were delicious, huge portions. I don’t understand previous reviews indicating the food is pricey. I find it quite reasonable, especially when you compare it to local hotel restaurant prices. Plus, the portions are quite large. I highly recommend Stonewalls. Great food accompanied by fast and friendly service.

Food was good. We had breakfast. The Belgian waffles were really good. Egg and cheese croissant was delicious. You order at the counter and they bring you your food so not much really to say about the service. Ambiance was nice.

Average food, little pricey. Didn’t really expect a Cafeteria style restaurant grin the looks of the place outside. Had the meatball sub which was overloaded with cheese, was basic and nothing all that great. The wedge salad is literally just a wedge of iceberg lettuce with dressing on the side. Don’t know if I would go back.
